My nephew traveling alone had a blowout on his way to AZ from OH ... Wagon Wheel was w/in 15miles so we thought better to stop there than try to make 60-ish miles to his hotel on a sketchy donut & very little btwn if tire didn't hold up. Their website shows open until 5:30p but I called & was informed they really close at 5p but they would try to wait. Unfortunately he got caught behind a semi going 30mph & it took him longer than it should've to arrive. Long story shortened they waited & the tire was changed and for that I give them thanks. They however aggressively yelled at him to "Hurry his ass up..." as if the event in general wasn't stressful enough he was verbally attacked for things out of his control. AND they charged him $124 for a USED tire ... he drives an inexpensive car ... they completely took advantage of a desperate situation. Stay classy Wagon Wheel & keep your fingers crossed a Discount Tire doesn't pop up on the I-40 w/in reasonable distance from your location because w/ that behavior coupled w/ an unfamiliar brand name & a loving Aunt willing to write a factual review might just entice others to risk it & depend on whats left of their "wagon wheels" & keep roll'n on past u. read more

Wagon Wheel Towing was by far the best road side repair service I've had. My rental truck blew a tire, which was so severe it damaged the hull (and cargo) of the truck. Charles and his staffer came out promptly, and efficiently changed multiple tires, and performed emergency surgery on the truck. I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service and knowledge. If you have the misfortune of needing their services, you can't do better than these guys. Highly recommend. read more

When you're flustered from roadside problems these guys help to give you the relief you were looking for. Charles was kind and knowledgable, and helped us get going again. He also went out of his way to fix an administrative problem with U-Haul that could have cost us a lot of money - He went the extra mile to trouble-shoot some issues for us that totally restored our faith in business practices! He was truthful, ethical, friendly, and professional! Way to go Wagon Wheel Towing! read more

They were kind and helped us out when our trailer tire flew off, they didn't have the part in stock due to covid parts are taking some time but they helped us get to a place where we could have it finished up so we could be on our way across the country . read more

Wagon Wheel is the best road service! They saved us on I-40 East. We blew out a dually on our Motorhome. They were there in 30 minutes with new tire and fixed it. The blow out did damage to our coach wiring and exhaust system. They got the wiring taped up and did surgery on the exhaust system so we could be on our way. They followed us a ways to make sure we were okay. As we continued we broke down again and Charles talked us through some trouble shooting going on with our Motorhome. As we were closer to Santa Rosa at this point he referred us to Ortega Towing and said if they can't get us towed he and Mike would come get us. Ortega helped us but Charles would check in to make sure we were okay. We can't thank Wagon Wheel; Charles and Mike enough for helping us on our travels. If you have car problems you can't go wrong calling Wagon Wheel. They truly care and again Thank You for being there Charles & Mike! Highly recommend. read more

My car broke down a little over an hour outside of Albuquerque on I-40 West. I was in the process of moving from Indianapolis to Phoenix, and I've never had anything like this happen to me before. I was freaking out. Luckily Wagon Wheel Towing was close by. I called and they were able to send someone out immediately. I didn't have to wait very long at all. They were very friendly and got my vehicle to my hotel in the city. The price was also very reasonable. They were even able to tell me the closest place to have my Jeep serviced. Highly recommend! read more

Charles was awesome & so knowledgable! We are towing a 29 ft trailer with 2 parrots, lovebird & 2 cats and we got 2 of the most inconvenient radical flat tires imaginable! He let us know it's not the amount of tread but separation and age and these tires he found were from 2006 on the trailer we just bought. So we replaced all 3 remaining tires at a great price and we are very excited that we will not have another blowout :) read more

See all

Just saved me from having to get a 150 dollar tow back to the main city. In and out super fast, absolute miracle for me

Charles and Mike were our guardian angels looking out for us in the middle of nowhere. They were very kind and generous: helping us fix our disabled vehicle and giving us fuel, and even tossed us a shop rag to help us keep clean during our repair. They made all the difference between us going from stuck in the middle of nowhere to us getting where we were going (all the way to Dallas, TX... towing everything we own with our VW Beetle!). If you're ever in a bind in this area, you can definitely count on the good folks at Wagon Wheel 100%. read more

Had a blowout just before reaching I-40 on 285. Replaced the broken tire with the spare and drove to the gas station at the interchange. Lady in the gas station told me to go 10 mi west on I-40 to Wagon Wheel. Drove the 10 mi and saw the exit for Wagon Wheel. Took it and followed the road to their shop. Nicest two guys working the place. They dropped everything they were working on to help me. They had a replacement tire, installed it, and assessed what the problem was that caused the blowout (not normal wear). In a pinch, these guys came to my rescue. Wagon Wheel Towing earns my highest recommendation. read more

By far the best road service....great customer service, very knowledgable! Thank you!!!!

Sunday August 20 we were traveling in our Motorhome eastbound on I-40 about one hour east of Moriaity NM when we had a blowout on right rear inside dual. It also knocked the valve stem off the outside dual causing it to go flat. Two flats on a Sunday over a hour from help is not good but AAA called Wagon Wheel Towing and Charles got there in short order with a new tire and a used tire just in case both tire needed to be replace because he had only one new tire in our size on hand and no place to get one on a Sunday, Charles replaced the bad tire and put a new valve stem on our other tire. Charles was very knowledgeable and helpful, did a excellent job and did not take advantage of our situation. His charges we well within reason and better than I expected. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Fantastic service. Limped in here with the coolant warning light on. He had a quick look then gave me directions to an Audi repair shop in Albuquerque (great service from them too). read more

We are about half way home from our trip out west. We have already driven over 4000 miles and began having trouble with our RV sputtering and then choking off. We were on Interstate 40 past Albuquerque, NM when the problem became worse. We limped into Cline Corners truck stop and callled AAA. A very, very nice young man whose name was Charles came to the truckstop to let us know the tow truck would be picking us up in about 20 minutes. Charles of Wagon Wheel Towing gave us his thoughts on what could be wrong and the closest auto mechanical shops around. He said his shop was unfortunately overwhelmed at the moment to make any repairs. We would have definitely used his business if he had any openings. His tow truck came just in time and took us to Cedar Crest. We so appreciate the kindness and professionalism that was shown to us. My husband and I would highly recommend their services! read more

This is by far the best tire/service business EVER! Like other reviewers, we had a horrible blow out on our fifth wheel, causing damage to the rig itself, in the early evening. AAA of New Mexico told us they did not recognize the California AAA towing for recreational vehicles... only good in California! AAA told us they couldn't help us in any way. Started to panic a bit, as we were stuck on the side of I40. We are very grateful that we found Wagon Wheel towing on the web. The moment they answered the phone they reassured us that they would be able to drive to us and bring tires to change on our vehicle. They brought better tires than we had, at a very fair price! Changed all four tires (the others were horrible worn also), balanced, mounted etc. Nicest people and knew their business! If I could give them higher than 5 stars I would. HIghest confidence in their skills, and their business practices are superb! read more
