I turned on my car this morning to a dreaded "low tire" notice. I went around to look at the tire and sure enough, there it was, a nail. This could have easily ruined the beginning of this holiday weekend, but thank God I found Garcia Tires nearby and when I called, someone immediately picked up, and to my relief they take walk-ins! Within 5 minutes of my arrival my car was in a bay, tire off, being assessed. Within 20 minutes, for less than $20, I was done with a repaired tire and the technicians were friendly, kind, hardworking, efficient, and thorough! They are a wonderful local business! Was driving with a tow dolly and getting ready to head out on a 1,000+ mile road trip back home with this car, I realized I hadn't verified tire pressures on the tow dolly now that it was loaded. Garcia was the closest shop to us at that point, so I pulled in and asked if they had a tech available to do a once over for us, fully prepared to pay whatever was necessary for a quick safety check. One of the guys in the shop dropped what he was doing, had me pull right up in front of their bays, checked everything out, aired the tires up to my requested pressure, and even pulled valve stem caps out of his shirt pocket to install, since the tow dolly I borrowed didn't have any already on it. Then sent us on our way with a smile and wave, no charge. If I was a local to their location, I'd be sure to return, great prompt service. read more

I bought new tires and rims from the dealership and on the way home my Tacoma had a shimmy at 60, 73 and 89. I also had some pull to the left. I called the dealership and they wanted to do the balancing again and they forgot to do the alignment. I was upset they didn't do it right the first time so I took it to Garcia Tire in Bernalillo instead. Same day service, in and out in about an hour and a half to balance my tires, align my wheels and they even changed my oil (Synthetic). Out the door with tax, $200. I found me a new mechanic. My front driver brake started grinding on Sunday so I took my vehicle to have the brakes checked at a different national company and they had a said besides needing brakes I needed all new struts and axles and would cost over $4000 with their lifetime brakes. A friend who is friends with the owner of Garcia Tires said to go here and low and behold after Taylor took me out and showed me the rubbers covering the axles needed to be replaced and not the axles themselves and I replaced out both front and back brakes and told me that back brakes were about 20% instead of 5% at the other place. Cost was half of what I was quoted at the other place for the brakes that wanted to sell me lifetime brakes for my 2010 Subaru Outback. Selena in the office was so nice and helpful and so was all the guys in the shop. So happy to see we have a great company like Garcia Tires who are honest and have integrity when it comes to taking care of their customers. If I could I would give them a lot higher rating. read more

We had a low tire and were about 300 miles from home. Garcia's pulled the tire, soaped it, checked everything and couldnt find a problem. They aired it back up and put it back on, torqued it and made sure that both front tires matched. I absolutely loved my experience with Garcia Tire! Everyone was absolutely wonderful! I had gone into Discount Tire the week before and they tried to sell me the most expensive tires they could, even when I told them I was on a budget. My dad went to Garcia Tire and got a quote for me for better tires, at a much lower price. I had a lovely conversation with the man up front, who was also from the same area and was incredibly helpful! The whole process lasted about 25 minutes from picking out the tires to getting my keys. The drive from Albuquerque was less than that! And soo worth it! I try to always shop local when I can and this was the best location and shop I could have asked for! read more

Absolutely a fantastic shop! Took my jeep wrangler in for a tire pressure check and a low tire pressure repair on one tire. And they found that all my bolts were loose. They tighten them down made several recommendations because I had special spike bolts on my tires. Fantastic environment great workers and a fantastic owner! This is the worst place to take your vehicle for any tire service. First time I bought tire they put wring odometer reading and didnt want to cover the brand new junky tires they sold me. Now I take my car for simple put my spare on they blame us for stripping the bolt even though they were the last people who touch. No customer service stay way go to big o up the road this place is horrible. They make you put one star I gave them a zero!!!!! read more

I was on the highway on my way back to North Carolina when my battery light came on. My battery is new so it was obviously the alternator. I took it straight here and they ordered the part and got it done the same day. Not only that, the mechanic that worked on my car brought me my old alternator and explained that my power steering reservoir was leaking and it completely soaked/ruined my alternator. He didn't have time to order a new power steering reservoir (it was 5 pm) so he put apoxy on it so I could make more miles and get my car fixed further down the highway the next day. Amazing service!! And it was very reasonably priced. I wish I could remember the name of my mechanic because he was truly amazing and helpful! read more

After getting the run around at Discount Tire in Santa Fe, we continued our trip south and found Garcia Tire to fix the flat tire on our travel trailer.
