Went to Big O Tires on US550. Gabbie greeted me and after a brief discussion she found 4 tires which she had in stock. I asked when she would be able to install tires. She replied that they could get them done now. She also offered an alignment inspection, and I responded to do it since they were new tires. I said let's get it done. Half an hour later she called me and stated that they did an inspection, and I needed new wipers which she stated she could install. I gave her the ok. When it was time to pay, I was very satisfied with price and service. I will continue to be a customer. read more

Seems an okay place. They will try and give you the higher priced tires but if you know what they have you'll be okay. I have never found a true honest tire place. So I was wrong, the guy the takes the cars back does not wear a mask. Wonder about that. The prices are about the same except they charge a lot for install. Other than that no real complaints for the place. read more

I came here yesterday afternoon for a shimmy in the front end. They took the car right in and within a half hour had the wheels balanced. It was great. They wanted to do the brakes on the front right away but I didn't have the time to wait sorry Robert told me to bring it in at 9:30 the next day. I have been waiting since 9:30 and now it's 12:30 and the car is still not being serviced. They tell me they're waiting for parts. If they could fix it right away last night why is it taking 4 hours today? read more

Brian here at Big O tires off US550 was disrespectful and dismissive towards me. I came in for a new tire and mid transaction, Brian, answered a phone call. Without any word or warning he proceeded to help the person on the phone over myself, who was standing in front of him. To me that was disrespectful, especially towards a customer who is present. Afterwards while getting my flat tire out of my vehicle, I confronted Brian on his service. I told him I didn't appreciate the service that was given. That he took priority on a phone call rather than a customer standing in front of him. I felt profiled and disrespected. This will be my last time here at the location. read more

I brought a vehicle in for an alignment and tire rotation. The front tires were cupping, and it's was quite obvious. They called me while they had it, and told me it needed an air cleaner and cabin filter. I authorized a cabin filter change but I figured I'd change the air filter. When I got back there I looked and the front tires were still cupped, meaning they hadn't been rotated. The manager lies and insisted the tires had been rotated. When I took him out to look,he finally conceded and asked beif I wanted them rotated. Stupid question when I had paid for that already. Then I checked the air cleaner and it was like new. It wasn't just good, it was literally clean as new. Mind you they insisted I needed an air cleaner. So they lied at least twice. THIS SHOP IS RAN BY CROOKS, AND TO TOP THAT OFF MY SONS FRIEND HAD WORKED THERE AND TOLD NE THEY DRINK AND SMOKE WEED IN THR BACKWHULE WORKING . Amazing! Took a trip to New Mexico and got a flat, brought my 2018 Honda Civic in to get it checked out and found out I needed a new tire. Price was competitive, but the best part was the employee who helped us out. Jose V. So nice and helpful and went out of his way to make sure our experience was GREAT! Brought my van in due to a leak and check engine light. $1800 in radiator, tune-up and a new break job the van is "fixed." Check engine still came on. Took it back. They charged another $96 for a diagnostic then said the engine needed to be replaced. (Shouldn't they have figured it out when they did the tune-up?) I was traveling by myself from Santa Fe to Farmington. I got a flat and came in on my spare to Big O in Bernalillo. They told me it was a 2.5 hour wait then, very kindly, repaired my tire right away and got me on the road. All the guys were so nice and I was so grateful that they did that for me. We were on a road trip and noticed a shimmy. I called this shop up ahead and the mechanic said to bring it in and they'd balance the tires. It was 1500 hours. We did and then he said it would be an hour and a half before they could look at it. He said he'd call when they were done. OK, we went for a late lunch to kill some time. Since they hadn't called we finally called them at 1730. They said they couldn't do anything because the tires were from 2013. We bought the tires two years ago. It is a hassle to take the tires off this truck so we're sure they just didn't want the hassle at the end of their day. They didn't even look at us when we went to go pick up the truck. They should be called Big Lie instead of Big O. So now we're driving 800 miles on unbalanced tires. read more

I have known Jessie (the mgr) for a long time. I have followed him from big o to big o. He has always been truthful and honest with me and my family. If you want tires you get tires. No added charges or up grades without Jess calling for your approval. He will give you an estimate on the work to be done and in the end your bill will match up with his estimate. The one thing I like about Jess is that he always surrounds himself with some very knowledgeable techs. Not only are they knowledgeable they also can tell a pretty good joke or two. read more

We had left San Tan Valley AZ on a vacation, only to find that we had a screw in our tire, with only 20# of air left, which delayed our road trip a couple hours. We were impressed when Big O Tires of San Tan Valley AZ that fixed the flat for us. However... three days later, while in Bernalillo New Mexico, we left our hotel to find that again, the same tire was low on air. Took our vehicle into the nearby Big O Tires store, where we were waited on by Fernando. Long story short, Fernando was SO pleasant to talk with, and we learned that the first fix of the tire was done improperly, so that's why it leaked a few days later. They fixed our tire just perfect, and we were so impressed! I am happy to give this Big O store, including both Fernando and Daniel (the service technician), FIVE STARS +++++, they made our day. What a refreshing experience. Joe Meader was the most helpful service writer I've ever met. He insured that my spare tire (new rim) fit and swapped the tires so I had a good spare. When the mechanic needed help to get the spare into its complicated bracket, VW Eurovan joe cane to the rescue and got it back in place. Excellent service and integrity rarely found today! read more

I drive my car like I stole it. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I drive like a caveman, take my place no car as low as mine should go, or if because I think you should slide around corners as quickly as possible, but either way I seem to need things relating to my tires/wheels more often than others. However, it's never a problem with these guys. I show up, they get me in right away, I stroll to the coffee shop across the street, and they come and get me when it's all over. They have never over charged me, they have recommended me buying things online vs. through the companies they have to save me money, and they are super reliable. I don't trust anyone else to take care of my tire needs in all honesty. They also let my dog come inside to wait if it's going to be a while, so that adds to the excitement! read more

I took my car in for new tires. they killed the battery and then jumped my car. new cars aren't supposed to be jump started. Doing this entirely messed up my electrical system. I had to have it serviced at the dealer. When I returned to have my tires rotated it was discovered they had put the bolts on too tight and couldn't get them off without breaking them off. They tried to charge me over $200 for their error until I complained and they agreed not to charge me. They didn't have the right bolts and I waited there for 5 hours while they figured it out. They finally got the tires back on and they had triggered my emergency brake and the light was flashing I had to wait yet again while someone looked at it. They assured me the brake wasn't actually on they had just triggered a sensor. Wrong! They let me leave there and drive around in a car they had damaged the brakes on!!!! I couldn't get an appt with the dealer for 3 wks. so in the meantime my car was basically a death trap. i drove to Santa Fe and the car began making strange noises so I went to the Santa Fe Big O to have them find out there was a serious issue that had caused that they had caused the rear emergency brake to seize up and the wheel wasn't spinning. This was an extremely dangerous situation to put me in. I have an 8 year old daughter what if there had been an accident involving her??? Santa Fe has my car currently and no sign of getting it back. I'm not even confident they can properly repair the car at this point. read more

Lifesavers! After driving cross country, my Honda Civic was in desperate need of an oil change and a break check. I called a few other spots and they seemed to be crazy busy but Big O encouraged me to come in ASAP. Joe, the front desk dude, was pleasant and gave me a reasonable time frame for all services. The cost was also well within budget and my car works better than ever. I was a little concerned about the location (plenty of construction there) and the fact that there was availability but it worked out. If your car needs a doc, go to Big O. read more
