Ray R has a problem with walk in guests. I spoke to Lorenzo yesterday and due to staffing he advised me to come in early Saturday morning. They open at 7am and I showed up at -8am and was met with the rudest welcome. To my understanding, there was a scheduling issue and they were overbooked so I was given a verbal lashing about internal issues I did not ask for. I offered to visit another business since I was referred to this location by cottonwood location, but he just kept going on and on about having too many appointments at one time and how I should've just come in yesterday. To my shock, he grabbed my keys and told me "Lorenzo can deal with this." Honestly I won't be back to this location ever again. read more

l had made an appt for my brake less than a month ago I went back an hour later to get it back to them telling me "we didnt do it" as it needed to grind down more my truck stopped bieng able to drive about 2 weeks ago went to get it checked aince it wasnt drivable to take back to firestone and reminded them about how they wouldnt let me change my brake pads at my appt specifically to get them changed tried to charge me over 1,500 over a mistake they did for not changing them when asked. They said they checked it took off parts and put them back on. Got the fixed from family friends. So we're traveling from Colorado to Dallas. We have a tire that needs a patch. We get to Firestone 90 min before they close, explain our dilemma, and we need a simple plug or patch. We get told "won't happen tonight". Yet this is literally a 15 min job. I again explain we're trying to get to Dallas...only to be told "we won't as we want to go home and there are 2 people ahead." 15 min job for travelers across this state and they can't work in a 15 min job. Went in today for new tires for my 2019 AWD Honda CR-V. While my appointment, which I'd confirmed 48 hours prior, was not on their schedule, Addison assured me they'd work me in and the quote I'd been given was in their system so no scam and no worries. The wait was exactly what they'd quoted me when I got my quote and I walked out exceptionally happy with an additional savings of about $70. This location is CRAZY busy. Addison was highly professional, even as the no-appointments wanting immediate service streamed steadily in the door. I think he was stepping lively the entire two hours I was there. My inspection paperwork, both pre- and post-inspection was very comprehensive. Addison explained everything done to and discovered with my car. I was exceptionally satisfied. I have used this shop exclusively since I moved to New Mexico in 2018. They do fantastic work, have saved me a lot of money on work not needed (sorry dealership!), and they're both honest and reliable. Cannot recommend them more highly. I am not one to give bad reviews, I love supporting businesses but I am highly disappointed, if I could give this place negative stars I would. My family has been going to this specific location for almost 10 years for different services. Had my jeep break down on me, got it towed here paid for a diagnostic with left over money going towards what needed to be fixed. (Fuel pump line needed to be repaired) Literally sat in their lot for a week and ended up having to get it towed else where picking it up with more damage than when I dropped it off. (All of a sudden my ignition button was completely damaged, stuck, pushed in and now my vehicle would not start at all) When my father asked to speak with a manager about damages that weren't there when we dropped it off, he claimed "it was like that when it arrived here." No refund, 0 work done to fix my car. Waste of money, and now having to pay more money to get it towed somewhere else. Not only do I have to repair my fuel pump line still but now have to replace my whole ignition button. You get what you pay for at places like these, better off spending the extra money and taking it to the dealership right off the bat. My father is the kindest , most honest guy and they were just really disrespectful to him here. Try another Firestone location or just veto this place all together. read more

My battery on my Honda CRV was going bad. I tried my dealership and they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. I reached out to Firestone and they had me in and my battery replaced within 2 hours of my phone call. Customer service was amazing. I will definitely come back when the need comes up. read more

WOMEN BEWARE! Do not go to this place of you are female. They will try to rip you off! Don't believe the signs that say "Free Check Engine Scan". They wanted to charge my wife $150 to tell her the results of the Check Engine Scan, and made her wait 2 hours. She took it to Auto Zone and they tested it and gave her the results for FREE and reset the computer and she was out of there in 10 minutes. Certainly wouldn't trust Firestone to give her accurate results without recommending unnecessary and expensive service. read more

I am traveling from out of state. Needed to replace thermostat and water pump on my vehicle. Had time constraints. Pulled up at 5min before opening. Service Tech was setting up. Tried to talk to him about my issue he was un helpful and rude and told me to go and Talk to Jessica in the office. Of course they werent open yet and door locked. So i waited till my atomic clock correct phone said it was 7am. Then knocked on the door. Jessica came to open the door and said it was 7am yet. When I said my phone said it was 7 she said her computer said it wasn't and that i should have waited! Told her my problem she was unsympathetic, was not the least bit helpful and rude. I would not do business with them if you have any other option. I will be filing a complaint with Firestone corporate office as well. read more

Several years ago I had an alignment done here and was somewhat put out by the "up sell h3ll" experience. I hadn't been back since then. On Monday 6-7-21 I made an appointment for alignment on Tuesday 6-8-21. I was asked to have the vehicle there as early as possible so I dropped it off at 6:45am for a 9:00am appointment. At 10:30, my vehicle was "the next one in line" and they would call me as soon as it was done. At 1:00pm my vehicle was "the next one in line" and they would call me as soon as it was done. At 1:15pm I went to Firestone and retrieved my vehicle. I won't be back ever.. read more

I struggle with this place because they could so much better. My family has given this specific location business for at least 8 years with a minimum of 8 vehicles. Every time my family interacts with Perry there is an issue. He appears to care less about business/money then he does about his personal time to sit around. He always acts so busy but is not. I've been there with the bays full of cars (other staff working) but they are still open and willing to accept business. It also doesn't take nearly as long to get the work done he was asking (from every experience I've had as a reference). I suggest a minimum of costumer service classes and maybe a reminder of Firestone's values. The only reason I am giving them a two is because my previous experience with a really kind female staff, I can't remember her name at this moment. read more

I needed a battery for my Chevy truck (2008 Silverado) and Firestone is five minutes from my home. I wanted the INTERSTATE battery and they had it in stock at a fair price. So I went ahead with the replacement and it took only 20 minutes; that was a pleasant surprise! When I got home I gave the install a quick look to make sure all connections were tight and that a 'cross brace' from the right fender to firewall was reinstalled. This is when I noticed the battery was PHYSICALLY installed BACKWARDS. The POSITIVE - NEGATIVE CABLES were both "CROSSED" over the top of the battery so they would reach the proper "+ / -" battery posts. They cables were BOTH VERY VERY TIGHT and when the engine was started and engine speed increased it was obvious additional "pulling was put on the cable AND the post on the battery. HOW the technician did not notice what had happened was beyond me. The service writer simply said, "it won't hurt anything ..... the cable is "strong" and the battery "post" is equally as strong and all will be OK" I was NOT about to 'buy' that 'song and dance' story and insisted the battery be PROPERLY INSTALLED! That appeared to upset the service writer - but he jumped into the truck, started the engine, placed the transmission in 'reverse' and 'squealed the tires on the smooth concrete floor. I immediately objected and received a 'scowl' as the 'adviser' drove off! He parked the truck in a service 'bay', spoke to the "mechanic" and walked back inside to tell me it would be at least 90 minutes before they could PROPERLY install the battery! I thought to myself, "paybacks are a bitch around here!" BOTTOM LINE: The MISTAKE was THEIR MISTAKE! Even though they said it would NOT harm anything - I knew better! Over time it WOULD cause an issue! THE 'KICKER': The REINSTALLED battery was still NOT done properly! The 'mechanic' LEFT THE POSITIVE POST CLAMP LOOSE! It came off with my hand! When I pointed this out in my TELEPHONE CALL I was essentially told, "shit happens"! NO I will NOT be going back to this Firestone! I do NOT recommend them to anyone! read more

Got a flat tire in Enchanted Hills visiting a friend on a Sunday. Who's car doesn't come with a spare tire?! Mine. Ugh. So I was able to jack the car and get my tire off! First went to Walmart, who were completely unhelpful. Said they couldn't help me. Discount tire is closed on Sunday's. Got to Firestone right before locking their doors! They were so helpful and kind and totally saved my day!! read more

First let me begin by saying that my experience with the staff was impeccable. I had the pleasure of dealing with Kyler and as I broke down the situation dealing with a 2011 Ford Fusion. I made him aware of some noise from the front suspension that another shop had quoted would cost 1800+ to repair. Let me point out that this was my mothers car and I live in California. It's not easy knowing that an establishment wanted my mother to fork over that much money. I did a pre-inspection prior to taking it in and knew what was an acceptable fix. While the technician (I wish I could remember his name, but he had long hair) did some troubleshooting he pinpointed the exact issue making the noise. The total cost for repair was just over $300 which saved me $1500 from the original quote from the other shop. I know where to send my mother next time she needs a repair and I'm sure Kyler and the rest of the staff will ensure a quality job. read more

Disappointed to be polite! Setup an appointment 6 hours in advance for oil change and check out my back right tire that was low on air earlier. Immediately after scheduling the appointment received a cancellation email without a reason as to why. I just don't understand why the time slot I chose was open if they couldn't do a simple oil change and check a tire during that time slot. Took my car in to get a wheel alignment and the the salesperson was able to convince me to get the lifetime wheel alignment and it sounds to be a great deal. They did an excellent job on my wheel alignment. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Heading out of town on a family vacation with 3 smal kids when our boat trailer tire started smoking! Turned around and headed to the closest Firestone where the manager, Perry and his crew took care of us right away! They even ordered us parts since they didn't have the parts in stock and were able to get us back on the road within a few hours! Took My truck in to get the front differential pinion seal replaced. Got a call back with a good price, I told the service advisor let's go ahead and do it. 30 minutes till closing I got a call from the manager stating they broke two torque bits trying to get screws off and they could not complete the job. I pick up the truck and look underneath and find two of the bolts completely stripped (was never mentioned to me by the manager). I called back and spoke with the manager (Ray) and asked him about the stripped bolts, he stated he wasn't sure what I was wanting, and that he would replace the bolts. I stated I wanted the job done and the bolts off ( they're stripped, what do I do? Pay to have them drilled out?) he stated to he had no way to heat up the bolts and get them off, but to bring the truck back and he would need it for a couple of days. Long story short I took it to American Tire on Ridgecrest in Rio Rancho l, those guys were awesome!!! Cost me double the price because they had to get the two stripped bolts off, but they had the job done in half the day and used factory parts. read more

We bought a set of Bridgestone tires here and were very pleased with the service and price. Our ride is much quieter with these tires and the alignment that was performed was good. They did try to upsell us, that is their job, but all of the services mentioned did need to be done. We did not feel that they mentioned anything that did not need to be addressed. read more

Recent transplant from Northern Michigan with my low tire pressure light on in my Honda CRV. Amazed that argas stations don't have air stations due to vandalism. A friend recommended the Firestone Center. I pulled in and immediately saw the "Free Tire Pressure Check" sign and knew I was in the right spot. Gentlemen quickly filled my low tire and thoroughly explained how to manage my tire pressure in the New Mexico climate - vastly different than Michigan!! He went so far as to ask to see my personal pressure gauge so he could check it against his. Spot on. I can't say enough about the fantastic service I received...friendly, professional, thorough, and welcoming. I'm a client for life. My next tires will be from Firestone!! Thanks, guys...you're five stars!! Had a second need for a damage assessment of the damage done to my under carriage after hitting a major pot hole near the Bernalillo bridge last night. Pulled over and saw a shield of some type was hanging on the ground now just partially attached the the car. Luckily, the Firestone Center was just around the corner on 528 so I slowly drove over, filled out the service envelope and dropped it in the drawer with a key. When I called this morning at 7:00am, Laura had already examined the car and assessed the damage. Moisture shield was toast and the under carriage was scraped up, but no alignment or other damage. Car was ready to go by lunchtime, and their shuttle service came to get me right away. I really appreciate this team of professionals! Jessica keeps the place humming and with technicians like Laura, I know my car is getting first-rate care. Not happy that the construction zone took a bite out of my Honda...that pot hole had to be a deep one to cause this kind of damage to an AWD SUV, but if it can be fixed, I know it will be fixed right the first time at Firestone. Thanks, again, guys for getting me back on the road so quickly with an unscheduled service call. Five-plus stars!! read more

Firestone off 528: tried to sell me a cam bolt kit for $110.00 after new tiress and alignment on Forester. I declined and spoke to the dealer later. This kit is not needed for late model car. RIP OFF ATTEMPT. Can't trust these people. Never deal with these folks. read more

Fixed items that were never mentioned and billed for it, and still the same problems on my vehicle as I had originally stated. Complained and got nowhere. I have been going to this Firestone for some time and most of the time the customer rep is great. They have one guy there who is kind of snarky, but once you get by him, their techs are great and the service is impeccable. But, last week I had $1,500.00 worth of service done to my vehicle and tried to pay with a check. What followed was 20, painful minutes of trying to get the check approved. Never did. They put me on the phone with whoever approves checks and this testy lady told me, basically, I wasn't a good enough customer to cash a "big" check like that. I asked her if she had verified the funds at my bank and she said no and she wouldn't. This Firestone would have gotten a 5 Star review from me if not for this classless woman on a telephone out there at God knows where making financial decisions for me. read more
