I took my vehicle into One Stop with a suspected exhaust system issue. The technician took the time to ride in the vehicle with me to understand the issue and how it was affecting the car. After inspecting the car, they confirmed the exhaust issue and referred me to an exhaust specialist. They said that the specialist would be able to better attend to the issue and do the job for less $. One Stop didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. I dont write reviews often, but this business impressed me with their work ethic and honesty. Will bring my business back. read more

I left a few Google reviews, and now I will leave a yelp. I have been to many, many mechanics with many cars I have owned. This place is by far the most reliable, honest, ethical, and knowledgeable mechanic shop. My first experience was with a low gum coming from my wheels. I had gone two places to get this fixed, and it always came back. One stop auto fixed it once and for all. 2nd experience was my air conditioning. Quoted me $800 for brakes, and $2500 for a complete overhaul of all AC parts (ya, I wasn't happy, but it's hot) I said "ok" amd they ordered the AC unit. When they went to replace it, he found a rock and some debris inside. Decided to clean it out, and viola! It started working. He could've replaced the unit (or not and said he did), and I would've never known. Instead, he didn't. He saved me an enormous amount of money. You can not beat honesty like this! Traveling across the country when all the sudden my brakes made the most terrible noise. I called so many places and none could help until I found my heroes at One Stop Auto Care. They worked a miracle and fixed my breaks in less than one hour. It was so quick my son had to chug his margarita in two minutes in celebration so we could get back on the road. We want to give a special thanks to the best customer service mechanic this side of the Mississippi (he had empty gage ears), we don't know his name but he will forever be in our hearts. When it come's to Auto care this is one stop u want to avoid!! Had a vehicle with a hard knock in the motor,by the vehicle model, engine & miles it was sure to be some engine work. I went to the closest machine shop in the area who could lead me to a mechanic that did that type of service. That's when i got a card for One stop auto care. Called them said they could do the service but would rather "Inspect it first to not make me spend more money then i have too" That's what they said. They went over the vehicle found nothing wrong, they explained to me that oil was nasty thic and would not circulate Properly. Either way I was hesitant but the Gentleman in the phone was reassuring they had run multiple test.They were sure It only needed tune up's and I would be on my way!Two Days later i get a call from Paul from One Stop saying they had done the Tune ups, fresh new gaskets,Battery. the hole 9 Yards.I was excited until he say's the knock is still there and into further inspection the motor is no Good i would need to get a New engine & parts for the vehicle to be in tip top shape around 9,000dlls that was after charging a bill of 2,000dlls for the oil change, Battery and a Hole other stuff the Owner couldn't name, and even he said they did a bunch of stuff they shouldn't of have. He then was bringing down the price which i denied i stated i wanted my vehicle running good. The owner answers "It Run's" Totally unprofessional business . They had excuses after excuses. Trying to use my words against me. Like you agreed.But never owning up to there suggestions.I wouldn't trust this shop with a bike! After stressing and taking time of work i decided to forget the vehicle it wasn't worth the time said a lawyer and He said sadly stated this is the way bad auto shops like this stay in busness. read more

I am a gentleman enthusiast. I've had more than a few cars and at least a few mechanics. Good diagnostics are almost impossible to find and hands down the first thing you want in a mechanic. I had one of those mystery problems rear its ugly head while I was on vacation and randomly stopped here based on reviews. They figured out a problem that had eluded several other mechanics and me myself and had my truck fixed for good the same day. That is priceless. They saved me a bunch in the end over what it seemed the problem was at first and they didn't do unnecessary repairs. Take it from someone who has learned, good diagnosis will keep you on the road and out of the poor house. read more

This is the Best Place to come for Great service and friendly staff I drove from Hallettsville ,Tx and had my service here and they took real good care of me and my car when I come back to Albuquerque I will look them up again and I also recommend this place to my Aunt So she don't have to worry about getting taken for a ride they are straight up and on point with their diagnostics and letting the customer know that they have found wrong with it. My daughter goes to school in ABQ and we live in Phoenix, AZ. She needed an oil change and so I called One Stop Auto Care on Friday 7/21 to ask the price for a 2019 Mazda 3. I gave the woman that answered the phone the year make and models so she could look it up exactly. We pay about $46 here for synthetic oil change for it when she is home. The lady typed in the info and then had to put me on hold to go look it up. She came back telling me it was $65. I thanked her and had my daughter set up an appt. She then goes today and at the end they tell her it is $95, not $65. So she pays and leaves and then I call back and the woman who answers gives me to some other guy who basically says no one would quote that price at this shop (basically calling me a liar even though his was the only shop I called). So beware if what prices you are quoted if you stop her. They may be great mechanics but they may not quote you accurate pricing over the phone. read more

Had some serious brake issues with my car. Initially went to Brake Masters, which wanted to charge me nearly $1,000 to fix. Finally ended up going to One Stop Auto Care on the advice of a co-worker. Not only did they explain the problem in simple detail, but they were able to get it fixed in a few hours and only charged me about $200. After five months, the brakes are still working like a champ. This is the best auto repair shop I've been to in Albuquerque. I'll definitely bring my car here from now on. read more

On 9/20/2018 I took my vehicle (2008 Lexus IS250) to One Stop because my Power Steering light came on. At first I was advised that a Power Steering evaluation would be done for $40.00. I later receive a call stating that a Digital Diagnosis is needed for $100.00. I agreed to the Digital Diagnosis. The next call I receive, is to question me about any accidents the vehicle has been in. I advised the technician that the vehicle has not been in any accidents. The technician proceeds to advise me that the rim's on my car have scraps and that is the reason why my Power Steering is having issues. The cost of a new Power Steering computer would be $772.00 and the labor would be around $120.00. I decided not to have the work done at that time. I took my car home and parked it, so the Power Steering issue would not become worse by driving the vehicle. On 10/17/18, I had my vehicle towed, to another mechanic shop and they did another diagnosis and found that the Power Steering computer was fine. The issue was the vehicle's battery. The battery did not have enough voltage to run the Power Steering computer correctly. The 2nd mechanic shop replaced the battery and the Power Steering light was no longer on. I paid One Stop $117.00 for a Diagnosis report that told me the bad issues on my car where the fact that the back tires and the front tires are two different sizes, which is the way the vehicle comes stock, so that is not an issue. The other issue they claimed was a bad CV Shaft on the right rear. I received 1 picture, of what One Stop Auto claimed to be my vehicle's CV Shaft, when I mentioned this to the 2nd mechanic shop they took pictures and tried to find the issue. The 2nd mechanic shop couldn't find any issues, when I showed them the report and the picture, the shop manager was shocked because the picture provided by One Stop didn't even look like pictures the 2nd shop took during their diagnosis. The picture provided by One Stop showed that the CV Shaft had been leaking because the picture has a lot of grease and dirt build up from the supposed a leak. One Stop Auto is a fraud, they are charging for a diagnosis and recommending services and part replacements for parts that aren't even bad. The worst part is that if I would have let them replace the Power Steering computer, my vehicle would have still not been operating correctly because the real issue was a bad battery. read more

I brought my car in for an alignment and brake service yesterday and had a very good experience. Steve and his employees were friendly, they gave me a ride home and picked me up when my car was ready, and the pricing was reasonable. A dealership might charge $80 for an alignment, somewhere like Big O Tires might charge $70, but One Stop charged $60. I'll be going back to them. read more

After reading the reviews for One Stop Auto Care I decided that I will make the 30min drive to the shop., I could have went somewhere around my house, but I'm glad I went to One Stop Auto Care. Everyone there was very nice and helpful.. Advised me on what needed to be done on my car and what could wait/what was good. I got the vibe that this is a trustworthy shop. So I decided go ahead and leave my car there for repairs.. Steve the owner was very nice he even gave me a ride, because couldn't get picked up.. My son and I were on our way home from a Grand Canyon hike to Mobile, Alabama. We had work and appointments pending. Our car had a total clutch failure while going through Albuquerque (there were signs of failure were prior to the trip). We had the car towed to One Stop Auto Care. They provided a verbal estimate pending physical confirmation (which allowed us time to ponder options). They promptly brought the car into a bay and and physically confirmed the issue. They immediately searched for the rather rare clutch (manuals not very common), found the best price and immediately had it shipped. Car in at noon and clutch ordered by 3 pm! They included a complete and through inspection of mechanical and body components which pointed out issues attention. The car was ready the next day 3 hours before estimated time of completion and 10% below original estimate. Our vehicle made it home with a fully responsive clutch and the highest gas mileage since buying the car 6 years ago. I hike the Canyon every year. They were not just competent but also friendly, helpful, reassuring and professional. I am an old goat but a place like this is very rare. They are easily a 6 star rating but I can not give more than 5 stars. I plan to stop in for maintenance here on my annual travel through the area . I have had really good service from them in the past, but the last two times were not great. When they checked the fluids on my truck, they forgot to tighten the fill plug and I had gear oil leaking all over. For my car, I had the pcv replaced and I noticed right away that I now have a check engine light (which they didn't even mention after doing a full inspection). They told me it was a coincidence and would cost me $400 if I wanted them to fix it. I declined that repair. Today when I went to change the oil, I saw that the pcv and the knock sensor are close together right above the oil filter. The knock sensor was broken in half and I suspect the maintenance guy accidentally broke it when replacing the pcv and didn't own up to it. I have had good luck with the regular mechanical work, but their maintenance work is sloppy. I do like the fact that they give Costco members a discount, but not sure I can recommend them. read more

My new tires are great and they even remembered to transfer my chrome caps! The last place I used forgot them. Sometimes it really is the little things that people appreciate... This business is absolutely fantastic. As a person that knows next to nothing about vehicles I felt very comfortable in this environment. The staff was very knowledgeable and explained to me what was going on with my car and even though it wasn't the best of news they weren't pushy in regards to fixing the issues at their shop. They were very understanding that I would have to hold off on fixing the vehicle due to finances and made it clear that they are always there to help. Soon after my visit the company made it very clear that their number one priority is customer satisfaction and not about making a quick buck.
