When I declined and asked to proceed with a normal test drive, I was then told that out-of-state buyers were not accepted due to internal policy, because it "takes too long to get paid." This was presented only after I resisted the financing requirement, not upfront. I left without ever being allowed to test drive the car, despite being ready and qualified to buy. They get good reviews by paying you a full gas tank or first oil change free to post one when you purchase a vehicle. The truck I bought from them had car fax that showed it has been taken care of...... it required about 10000 dollars worth of repairs in the first 2 years because so many things had been "fixed" terribly with the wrong parts before being sold to me. It looks like my review was deleted from Google, so here it is again for anyone looking for an honest review: 712 rhymes with DO NOT DO. This is less like a used car dealership and more like a poorly operated lemonade stand. I have no idea how there are so many 5 star reviews, they must be fake. There is a lot that is quite illegitimate about this place... I was very interested in a specific car, made an appointment, had a test drive, sat down with financing and I said I'd be back the next day at 1pm with the down payment. This particular car had been on the lot for MONTHS. I said I was coming back with either with cash (maybe that's why why screwed me over?) or proof of residency for the financing. I wanted the car. I made that very clear. I'm not sure why they gave me the go around with this scenario that somebody else ALL OF A SUDDEN wanted THAT car. They called me just an hour after I had left said lemonade stand and told me I had to come back RIGHT AWAY with a deposit or else they'd have to give the car to them since they "had dibs" ...how professional. This is coming from the owner himself, Zach. They had "called dibs" so they couldn't sell it out from under them? Excuse me? The car was sold out from under ME. I apologize that I was unaware of the dibs policy. Sound shady yet? It is! Do you want to know the reason the it's "by appointment only"? This shady lemonade stand is operated out of a garage! Jose, who I had met and an earlier look see, was there to show me the car initially and then when I came in on a subsequent test drive with the wife. All went well and we bought the car. Jose had all the reports needed to see the history of the car and even came in on his day off instead of asking if we could make it another date. Hey Everyone, in late November 2021 I bought a 2010 C6 Corvette from Zach at 712 Auto Sales in Albuquerque. I think it was coolest and most laid back car buying experience I have ever had...absolutely ZERO pressure. First, 712 Auto has a small dealership with previously owned cars, but don't let that fool you...Zach doesn't have any junk on his lot. Second, the Corvette that I purchased was in showroom condition even though it had 29000 miles on it. It was actually hard to tell that it wasn't brand new. Anyway, I introduced myself to Zach and he threw me the keys and I took it for a test drive with my wife. We loved the car so we bought it. The entire transaction took about an hour and I then I drove it off the lot. Since then I have enjoyed the hell of my "new" Corvette. Even though it's now 12 years old, it's still sleek, sexy and FAST!! BTW it also handles like a race car. If you're looking for a solid previously owned car in excellent shape, look no further. Bought a car yesterday. Sam was our salesperson. He was courteous, helpful and no pressure. Their paperwork was thorough and proper with Carfax records and all inspection records provided upfront. We were in and out within probably an hour with the car. We had looked the car over thoroughly but it turned out it did have a tiny alignment issue. We also realized there was one dial that was not working. After completing the purchase we were able to take the car in, and these issues were repaired immediately.
