Read about this place in Sunset magazine. Went for lunch with a friend and enjoyed it thoroughly. The place had a lunch counter feel to it...but trendy. And the food was hot, plenty, and savory. The menu is simple. There are a few appitizers/salad..but mostly this place is about ramen. I had the vegetable ramen and then added bacon wrapped mushrooms. Delish. The ramen noodles are all made on site. The broth was perfect. My friend had the "Underbelly Ramen" which had korobuta sausage.
I talked with the server and he told me that if I wanted to order take out (something I plan on doing...a good take home meal), they would package all the ramen components separately so that I could reheat and assemble when I got home. This way the noodles would not be overly cooked by the time I was ready to eat.
A fun place... I recommend!!! read more
