My Nana and I went here earlier this month and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed everything we ate and will definitely be back again.

This is a good place to get a good meal. The waitress was supper nice and helpful. I'm surprised that it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be on a Sunday lunch. if you don't like crowds it's a good day to go. Dinner time here is DEFINITELY busy. Today was a taco day. I had the pork tacos and my friend had the chicken tacos. Both were good! I got a piece of lemon cake to go and unfortunately the cake part was dry but the frosting was delicious.

I came here with coworkers for our holiday lunch, and the place was beautifully decorated and felt really cozy. We had a big table since there were eight of us. Initially, we were meant to be twelve people, so they asked for a $200 deposit with our reservation, which was later applied to our bill. A coworker who comes here often recommended it. I started with a blueberry almond mocktail. It was tasty, but a bit too sweet for my liking. My coworkers tried some of their holiday-themed drinks and had no complaints. We shared some appetizers, and my favorites were the common way calamari and the burrata. For my main course, I had the blackened fish tacos. Honestly, it was missing some acidity and flavor. The chicken fried sandwich was a big hit, and the short rib sandwich was also really good from what I heard from my colleagues. Overall, the experience of dining with such a big group was fantastic. Our server was attentive and checked on us multiple times. I'm definitely planning to stop by after work sometime to try their dinner menu.

The inside of my absolutely amazing All American Burger. Medium rare. Perfect.

Love this place. As I have said before. I tried two new items yesterday. One, amazing and I am glad I did. The second, I almost sent it back. The great: the sriracha/honey/cilantro wing sauce. Why did it take me so long?! My previous reviews still represent my thoughts on their actual wings. But this sauce was a game changer for flavor. The ehh: the onion soup was borderline gross. 50% crouton/bred, 30% fried onion straws, 15% cheese, and a polite 5% actual soup. It was like porridge. I actually considered ordering a burger patty to crumble into it to make a deconstructed French onion burger bowl. That much bread. Oh well. Live and learn. Will absolutely be back soon. Just no onion soup.

My colleague and I were very impressed with our dinner at Uncommon Grill. Staff were helpful throughout. We landed here looking for a gluten free friendly spot for my colleague but Uncommon Grill is so much more. I can honestly say that the burger was one of the better ones I have had at a restaurant. First of all the patty is juicy, fresh, and cooked exactly to my wishes - medium rare. The burger itself had peanut butter and jalapeno which is a great combo, would not have predicted that. The sweet potato fries were hand cut huge steak fries, crispy on the outside, which I have never seen before. The thing that was apparent in my dish is that it was assembled intentionally and with craft. My colleague loved her tacos. I learned at the end that this restaurant has won awards for its burgers. Well that makes sense to me.

This was our first visit, we have had friends recommend. This will not be our last, we sat at the bar. Bartender was amazing, great drinks, We had some wings (truffle buffalo). They were crispy, tender, and saucy!! We then split a Reuben and meatball sandwich so we can try a little of everything. They were both spot on, We also ordered some meals to go!! The gnocchi and penne Cajun dish. They made traveled well and were so good

I decided to go to Uncommon Grill for an early dinner. For an appetizer, I ordered the fried Calamari with sweet chili drizzle it was so so delicious a huge portion cooked to perfection. For entrée, I ordered the Southwestern Cobb salad it was amazing tons of flavor great dressing with corn and black beans and hard boiled eggs It was delicious . I ordered the meatballs with whipped ricotta the meatball was very moist quite large, and delicious. I can't wait to go back and I have to say I'll probably order the same food again it was that good. The atmosphere was very clean large dining area. The bartender was very friendly and extremely helpful. She explained anything on the menu. It was a great dining experience.

First time here at Uncommon Grill in Watertown. I highly recommend it especially if you like pub grub. I had the Guinness barbecue burger with bacon and fries. I asked for well done and it was perfectly cooked. The service was excellent! Our server actually ran out to the parking lot with leftovers that our neighboring table forgot. Hubby had the chicken burrito. Being a Monday, the draft beer was only $5 and the burger $15. They have amazing selection of draft beers including limited time craft beers and hard cider from local breweries. I would definitely return, there are many other things on their menu I would try. We don't get desserts but just about everyone else was having some. Their specialty is tall layer cakes that are on display as you enter. A++

This little spot - hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. I was very surprised how good they were. I ordered the appetizer wings - they were hot, fresh and crispy. Followed up with their Reuben sandwich and French fries. It was great food - fun ambiance and amazing service.

Went for a birthday dinner party of four and it was right on point! We were seated right away on a Sunday evening. Nice size dining area, including high tops in the bar area. The cakes at the entrance definitely caught our eye. We started with calamari the common way and Parmesan truffle fries for appetizers both fried to perfection! I got a Dirty Chai Martini from the drink specials. I can't remember the names of the other 2 drinks but they were also from the drink specials menu...all very delicious. For dinner I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos. My daughter ordered the Mac & Cheese w/short rib and couldn't finish it. My son got the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and hubby got the Jameson BBQ Burger. For dessert to go I got the pistachio slice and the bday girl got the pink velvet slice of cake, large portioned fresh moist cake...ummm ummm good! Everyone loved their food and we will be back soon.

I came here for my birthday at the suggestion of the friend. This is in the middle of nowhere, with companies all around. We came on a Sunday so maybe it's packed by employees for lunch? There's indoor and outdoor dining, at least on days when it's not raining. It takes up some parking spots towards the end of the plaza. The decor inside is a little dark, but also, it was raining. The food was enjoyable - the burger was seasoned well and fries were well cooked. The ketchup was rationed in a little cup, and our server did seem okay with us leaving sooner then later. But overall a great experience, it's worth the drive for the food!

Kids menu Baked Mac N Cheese with side of mixed veggies
    Joseph S.

Uncommon grill has many of the popular dishes you enjoy with a deliciously uncommon twist . I had the opportunity of visiting Uncommon Grill last week pretty soon after they opened on a Sunday. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for the holiday with lights throughout. They have a full lunch and a seperate full dinner menu (not given when at table) with some items shared between both. I ordered a Kids Mac N Cheese meal with a side of steamed mix veggies (instead of fries - and there were other options) for my little one. They even made the veggies extra soft for an infant. For myself, I went with their Chipolte Penne and decided for an extra cost to add in Chicken. The table spacing here is generous and I was easily able to fit a high chair next to my 4 chair table without blocking the tables parallel to me. They have tables that wrap around the main section of the restaurant and then a back room for more seating as well. When the food came out it all looked delicious. However, I was blown away by the presentation and portions for the Mac N Cheese off the kids menu. It was REAL baked Mac N Cheese served in one of those mini cast iron pots. The amount of veggies was decent too. This meal could definetly feed a child 12 and under (their age cut off) and even older. My Chipotle penne was wow too. It's chipolte infused vodka sauce with grana padano cheese. I will warn those who don't have a heat/spice tolerance that this has a kick to it (and I have a high tolerance for heat) so just want to give you light weights a heads up . The portions for this too were enough to make two smaller meals out of it (which is what I did). The staff was excellent and the place I imagine is a perfect place for a night out with a significant other. I do believe that normally for dinner and busier lunch times you have to make a reservation for 2+. We got lucky on our visit and it wasnt packed when it first opened. I will 100% be back and this time with my wife for a date night in week or so. Highly recommend!

Really top notch. Look and feel of the holiday decorated (but not over the top) dining area made a dreary and cold night disappear. My friend and I split a calamari with hot peppers and Gorgonzola to start. Maybe the best I've ever had (although the marinara served with it is meh/bland...so I just stick to lemon). I am already planning on when I can feasibly get back there to order again. He then ordered the veggie panini with a side salad both of which looked like a work of art. I ordered the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe. My favorite combo. It was out of this world. Perfect cook on the pasta and rabe. It was warm and spicy and savory all at once. A must try. Next visit I'm going to be torn on pizza or pasta. Maybe I'll get both - with calamari as a staple all-time order. Go There Now Note: call for a reservation on Fri/Sat nights.

I ordered their Fagoli Soup as a starter and it was more of tomato soup and didn't really taste like Fagoli at all, but it was still decent and the portions are pretty big (but it was $8). For my main, my friend and I split the Bolognese and The Hanger Steak. The bolognese had a nice flavor but the gnocchi was a little off and the hanger steak was delicious! And their truffle fries were a little strong but they were really good. For dessert, we got the nutella pie and that was damn good! service was relatively quick as well

I found myself with a hole in my social calendar one Thursday night the second week they were open, and decided to see what the buzz was all about. Their website and facebook page suggested to "dress to impress", so I dug out one of my bespoke Italian suits and found the perfect silk tie to match (lots of orange, because it was nearly Halloween) and hopped in the car to arrive early enough for the first show (they have two shows per night, 7pm and 9pm, both roughly 90 minutes). Picturing a bar-full of women in swanky gowns and men attired similarly to me, I was disappointed in finding out that substituting heels for sneakers with jeans was the norm for women, and throwing on a blazer over jeans was the standard for men. This is more a reflection of the area, than the business, and there were some couples who took this suggestion seriously, with some people dressed to the nines. The inside is gorgeous, with the lounge area filled with comfortable-looking seating areas, and a couple of tables for diners (not a lot of those, however). Paintings of legendary singers lined the walls. The bar area is sparsely decorated, and a bit too starkly lit for my taste, picturing the smoky jazz joints of my misspent youth. Lots of stools, and a beautiful stone bar top completed the look. I found a seat at the bar, and ordered a martini. No Stolichnaya available (except for raspberry) so I settled for Grey Goose instead. It was perfectly mixed, and I awaited for the piano show to begin. As they were new and starting to fill their entertainment ranks, that night they had a pianist who was auditioning. He was acceptable, with a decent voice, but lacked a lot of the spark of other performers I've seen. I have to go back another night to hear some of their other performers they have lined up. There's a menu of small plates that will fit nicely with cocktails, which is the main attraction there, with a list of seasonal offerings. Since I had already eaten, I didn't order any food, but what I saw presented to others looked good. Something for my next trip. All in all, this is someplace I will probably frequent, since it's close by, and in time, I'm sure the concept will catch on and become very popular. I'd suggest giving 88Keys a try for a special date night, or someplace to go if you're looking for a different vibe than the other entertainment venues in the area.

Our experience began with a couple of very unique "East Side Martinis", vodka, cucumber, muddled mint and lime.....so good I had to have a second one! We were then treated (gratis) to the absolutely best bruschetta I've ever eaten.....loaded with chopped tomato, onion, and garlic. Fantastico! For an entree I had the Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin Medallions with mashed potatoes and braised cabbage. A perfect melding of complimentary flavors. This restaurant clearly has no issues with making very flavorful choices when it comes to spices and accents. The wife had the Chicken Special with fettuccine and lemon butter white wine sauce that was also very flavorful and excellent. Everything was so good that we had to get dessert, a slice of Almond Joy pie to go. The owner, Sue, a baker / chef, is typically in attendance, and has heen running the restaurant for ten years now.
