I work next to them. Good vibes, nice staff. DONT GET THE HAMBURGERS. Worst quality meat and they charge 16 bucks without a side. Drafts burger bar next door charges 18-20 with several side options included and they are definitely more craft high quality burgers- no comparison. Same with the chicken strips .... Way way better next door - Stick with the hot dog or chili here read more

Nice outdoor space. They had a DJ. Was hoping for a more lively apres scene, didn't stay long - went to the vintage room instead which was way more alive read more

Do not go to if you want to get back on the slopes anytime soon. 1 hour and counting for a chicken sandwich...

Great spot for apres ski! Came during perfect weather on st pattys day! They had green beer which I was looking for and hoping to find on my ski trip. The line was sort of long but went back quick. You order the food and drinks at the bar, sit yourself , and they give you buzzer to let you know when the food is ready. Not the place if you want table service but definitely a cool spot! read more

A great place for apres ski. My boy and I hang out after a great day of skiing. We had fries, Mac and chess to accompany the wonderful Winter ale. And guess what, after the refreshment, we went back up for a final run! It was a great place to hang. read more

This bar is open year round, they have a number of tvs to watch sporting events, the drinks are really top notch. The staff is friendly. And a round shaped bar so you can enjoy live music and see everything that is going on in the plaza, yes please. It's just a really cool environment to spend time when you're not skiing or snowboarding. read more

Nothing sounds better than an ice cold beer after pancaking on the slopes multiples times in a row. This spot was definitely my go to after the slopes kicked my butt. The Umbrella bar is literally shaped like an UMBRELLA. The bar is in the center and tables circle around, from what I remember there's small heaters above. Its not exactly a building so its not as warm, but thats what makes it fun! They have great beer available, one in particular I enjoyed was a purple can with an artichoke on it..? So good!! The bartenders and staff were very nice and cheerful, especially on Christmas day. Have you seen the old show 'Cheers'? That's pretty much the vibe here. As for the food, I did noticed the chicken tenders were order pretty often. Personally, I did not order any food, strictly beer fuel! But for sure will next trip! read more

Good place for apres ski and also to grab a quick drink/snack. Got a hot dog and fries along with beer. Food was alright, met expectations. Place can get packed pretty quickly esp in the evening. There can be a wait before you get served and probably standing room only if you're okay with that. Overall good experience. read more

We waited fully 40 minutes for any food to be produced with less than 10 of the tables occupied - would hate to see the place at the lunchtime rush! Staff couldn't have been less bothered - claiming they had to 'restock' after the lunchtime rush and that lots of people had ordered chicken tenders! Quick to suggest asking for a refund - suggesting that this isn't an unusual situation. Plenty of other choices in the canyons- suggest you try them before going to umbrella bar... read more

This is a convenient spot but it's obviously a little different during Covid. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were ready in 5 minutes. Above average chicken down yonder. In honor of the Orange Bubble Express, I also ordered an Orange Gatorade. read more

Cool spot for a drink. I didn't try any of the food, but if you wanted a cheap burger or snack, this is probably the place you want to go to, as a lot of places on mountain are pricey. Okay draft list and some cocktails, and the glass enclosure makes for a good view. The bartenders were really nice, and one of them chatted with us for a while and recommended a good restaurant and some things for us to do. read more

This spot right near the base of the slopes at the Canyons is as good as it gets when it comes to apres-ski. The large patio with tons of tables warmed by propane heaters and a big fire pit is incredible when the sun is out, warming it up to the point where boots and coats aren't needed. The drink selection is not massive and Utah's weird laws mean nothing on tap is over 4%, but the local beer is fantastic after a tough day skiing. It gets a tad busy after the lifts close, but clears out quickly. So getting a seat isn't a problem. read more

A simple burger and juicy hot dog in Canyon village. Great price and this location. You have to order inside from the bartender who's very knowledgeable on craft beers. Once order is completed, he will hand you a pager. The buzz will go off around 10 minutes after then you have to go outside to pick up your order. The hot dog is so big that I had to skip the bun. Highly recommend if you look for a good meal that won't break the bank. read more

Love this bar! Fantastic service and atmosphere!!Nothing beats a cold one after a fresh powder day.

Could be the best double cheeseburger I have ever tasted. Fresh food made to order. The french fries were very good too. They have new beer filling machines that fill the draft beers from the bottom up is very cool. Staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Umbrella top canvas of bar opens up on sunny days and closes on chilly days. Glass windows surround the Umbrella bar and there is a large area outside that has games to play such as Foosball and a large fire pit with benches around it. It is a very fun place to spend an afternoon. read more

Came here twice. First time while eating lunch my friends and I saw two people slip and fall. The second time again at lunch I slipped and fell. The deck material is extremely slippery, the staff has apparently notified management but NOTHING is being done. They seem as frustrated as me. The tables are metal with sharp corners and one day someone will get seriously hurt. I'm going to speculate that management has never worn ski boots, and doesn't care about this issue until they get sued, which is bound to happen at this rate. My advice is to stay away in the winter if you're wearing ski boots. read more

Great spot to grab a beer after the slops! They have some food options but not a huge variety.

Food was ok. Service was quick. My daughter had a cheeseburger. I had the philly cheese steak sandwich. Two sodas. $30 We were starving so we ate it. Both sandwiches looked and tasted like they were made in a microwave. The burger bun was cold. I guess I should not have expected much considering the food is made in a tiny little shack. Everyone at the bar seemed to be enjoying their drinks! It was definitely a popular spot for a beer. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could but don't think the food is worthy of three and I can't comment on the alcohol because I didn't order any. read more

Food was decent enough but waiting almost an hour and a half for food in a half empty restaurant is not acceptable. Will not be returning.

Not a lot of apres ski options at The Canyons, but this one serves good beer and often overlooks a live band for entertainment. There's a nice big firepit to enjoy your child beverage outside or a glassed in bar area when it's chilly. When is a nice day, it all opens up to the outdoors. read more

I would love to be able to say that this place deserves one star because the food was subpar. That was unfortunately not the case. We ordered our food at noon. At 12:18, we started wondering where our food was. This is a food pickup restaurant at the base of a major ski resort, surely they would cater to skiers/boarders looking to grab a quick bite and get back on the slopes. At 12:30, we reached our limit. People all around us were cancelling their order because they had to leave. We went to the window to check on the status of our food and were told that our order was next. It had taken forever and the chef seemed disinterested, but fine, we were hungry and we just wanted to eat and get back on the slopes. At 12:46, it became comical. We went back to the window and asked where our "next up" order was. They said it's coming up. We were sick of vague responses and asked exactly what the holdup was. And the answer was "we're out of chicken tenders", which was what we ordered. When we asked when they would arrive, they said they don't know where to get more. At which point we cancelled our order. When they said "your order is next", were they planning to go find a chicken and kill it, skin it, bread it, and fry it? What was the endgame? How would they deliver our order? Is Bigfoot real? All of these are questions that need answers and we'll likely get the last one first. To those of you ordering food here. I wish you luck. But maybe bring your own chicken for them. read more

In the past has been great, but this year terribly slow. Order inside, they said they were behind and the wait would be 20-25 minutes. No problem. After 35, went up and asked for the status, and the inside the grill standing around looked at me, the receipt, and then started cooking it. Will not be back. After talking to others in line, this was not uncommon. Get your shit together Vail. read more

Really an OK grill restaurant at the base of Canyons Village. Foods offered here are things like burgers, brots, chicken fingers, wings, and your side of onion rings or fries. They are good burgers, but I would not pay 10-12 dollars for them (like most things at the resort). The burgers are prepared with that big fancy bread, iceburg lettuce, and regular grade vegetables. Personally it is not my style of burger, as I would rather have In n' Out or my dad's burgers. But what about its atmosphere? Well, I'm a big fan of the atmosphere, it's got a little gazebo where you can order food and the food comes right out of the trailer. The food comes at a good pace too, but it's not "fast food". read more

If your going to be in the area this is the bar to hang at! Their patio is huge and just the right distance from the stage (where live bands play all the time) so that you can hear the music and still hold a conversation. Excellent! Given the circumstances (Utah liquor laws!), we had a great experience. The bartender was great, and the food was great. Highly recommend!!! At least here, in this over-priced resort, you get a good deal for the money you shell out. read more

Great apres ski place after long day on the slopes. When the weather is good it's hard to find a seat. Went at least twice this past week during our 5 days in the Csnyons/Park City. $6 beers on tap and decent bar food. Great DJ one day we were there then a live band another day! read more

Best wings in town and best prices on this god damn mountain. Also the Joes are pretty cool

I was drawn to this place because of the awesome location and outdoor seating area, the prices are also much lower than lodges on the mountain. With that being said, the service was bad, stood at the bar with my kids to order food and was completely ignored by the female waitress as she tended to the needs of everyone around me. I ordered a hot dog, fries and chicken wings. The only thing we ended up eating were the fries, hot dog and wings were gross. Perhaps this is a better spot for a drink after skiing. I did like the pool table outside, that was a fun touch! read more
