At first, everything seemed fine -- but within a month, the phone started randomly shutting off and overheating, just like it did before the repair. When I returned, expecting them to stand behind their work, they refused to replace the faulty battery they had installed. I even showed them my bank statement clearly proving I paid for the service on April 10th. But because I "wasn't in their system," they told me I'd have to pay again just for them to look at it. To make matters worse, the two men working were rude, dismissive, and acted like I was being unreasonable for expecting a working battery and basic accountability. Most reputable shops offer at least a 90-day warranty -- apparently, not this one. Now I'm out the money, and still have a phone that doesn't work. Total waste of time and money. To my surprise and disappointment, the Apple Store was no longer stocking either for my model, an Xs Max. Immediately outside the store was a kiosk selling all sorts of accessories for numerous brands of mobile phones. While I was looking for a black or gray phone case, which they did not have, I settled for a blue one. The rep, whose name was Chilli, expertly removed my damaged screen protector, cleaned the screen, and placed a tempered glass protector. He did the same for the case protector. I was done in less than 5 minutes, mission accomplished. Highly recommend this as an alternative to Apple Store for your Apple compatible accessories.
