I can't recommend UltraTechX enough! When my granddaughter's iPad screen shattered, I was reluctant to purchase a new one due to the high cost. Fortunately, I found UltraTechX at 9146 Glades Road in Boca Raton. Alex, the owner and the technicians, were absolutely fantastic--professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing; I never felt like I was being overcharged. In just two hours, they had the iPad screen fixed, something the Apple Store would have charged three times as much for! If you need any device repairs, this place is the way to go! read more

I popped in the other day as my older computer was moving super slow. I got the recommendation from my quick phone repair shop of this spot. There really isn't that many places that repair computer these days so I was a little hesitant that they could even do the job honestly. But I stopped in the other days and things started well. It wasn't too busy. Once it was my turn at the counter the nice fella there explained that the diagnostic would cost I think 85 bucks or so and that if a service is performed that would be taken off the total at the end. That's the part that I could feel would be a test of trust. I gave us my computer putting my faith I would get it back better or at least without its memory wiped. they called the next day and said the hard drive wasn't really repairable and that they could put in a new solid-state. They said they would do their best to transfer all data. Cut to 3 days later. Computer was back to fast,, tons of memory and everything was transferred. Amazing. I'm sure they cant fix every problem, but they fixed mine. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought my laptop in because one of the hinges was broken and in need of repair. What seemed to be the owner told me that there was two ways he could fix it. He said he could either just put a small screw - that wouldn't permanently fix my issue - or he could open up the back to see the model and just replace the back panel. I left my laptop with him to open it up and give me a quote for a new panel. Mind you, I was told by someone else this job would cost no more than 80 dollars. He called me a few hours later to tell me it would cost $499, to which I said I could buy a brand-new laptop at that point!! I picked my computer back up, and the owner said not to charge me the diagnostic fee - which I thought was nice of him. I went over to best buy to get my trade in of over $200 for the laptop so I could get a new one. When the woman opened my laptop, I immediately gasped. Ultra Tech BROKE my screen! It was completely shattered in the bottom left corner. They didn't even have to audacity to tell me they further damaged my computer, and now I know why he said not to charge a fee. That is also why he wanted to charge me so much. Long story short, I can't even get a trade-in value for my laptop that only had a small hinge issue and now has a broken screen. Do not trust these guys - they will scam you for money and break your device! read more

they used to be aUBREAKIFIX but the owner opened up his own shop, now you get all after market parts none OEM and they still try to pass it off as OEM. very bad business practice if you do go here bewa the dishonesty from them, If I could've gi them a negative star I would read more

At first, everything seemed fine -- but within a month, the phone started randomly shutting off and overheating, just like it did before the repair. When I returned, expecting them to stand behind their work, they refused to replace the faulty battery they had installed. I even showed them my bank statement clearly proving I paid for the service on April 10th. But because I "wasn't in their system," they told me I'd have to pay again just for them to look at it. To make matters worse, the two men working were rude, dismissive, and acted like I was being unreasonable for expecting a working battery and basic accountability. Most reputable shops offer at least a 90-day warranty -- apparently, not this one. Now I'm out the money, and still have a phone that doesn't work. Total waste of time and money. Shady practices, poor customer service, and zero responsibility. Stay far away. **REPLYING to Devon's response below** I want to clarify that my intention was never to "extort" anyone. I simply sought support for a repair I genuinely believed had been completed at your shop. Which it was. When I provided my bank statement as proof of the transaction, you declined to honor it because the repair wasn't found in your system. Immediately outside the store was a kiosk selling all sorts of accessories for numerous brands of mobile phones. While I was looking for a black or gray phone case, which they did not have, I settled for a blue one. The rep, whose name was Chilli, expertly removed my damaged screen protector, cleaned the screen, and placed a tempered glass protector. He did the same for the case protector. I was done in less than 5 minutes, mission accomplished. Highly recommend this as an alternative to Apple Store for your Apple compatible accessories.
