I am trying out the different locations to see if the customer experience is much more different from location and overall it's about the same as far as customer service and layout of stores go. What causes the star fluctuations as opposed to previous reviews for other Sephora locations is the purchase of certain products themselves and what my experience is with that as opposed to any staff member performance...at least so far. What I got and have really enjoyed at this location is a body wash by the brand Necessaire. The bodywash I got is Eucalyptus fragranced and I really like it a lot! It feels cleansing and revitalizing as well as a great fragrance. It's a nice and pleasant "wake me up" while trying to shake off the grogginess of last night's sleep. I am definitely going to keep an eye out to try more products by this brand. I see that they have a Rosemary shampoo which I can say without a doubt I will be getting to try out in the near future!

Told hubs I was going to get my birthday gift as the month was nearly over in a few days. Pulled out my cell for the reminder email notification and headed in. Friendly greeter by the door. Spotted the line, hope I get to the cashier in time. Perfect, the prettiest sales advisor helped me. She looked for my phone number after I showed her my email. Gail? She asks. Yes...she let me choose one of the two brands and rang me up for a cool mascara I grabbed off the shelf as I waited my turn to the front. I complimented her on her lashes and she flashed a dazzling smile saying she used the strip in that direction. Nice parting farewell of exchanging have a nice day...

It's the perfect time to exercise more patience and not rush from place to place. With the sun hitting my skin after long rainy days I was naturally more at ease. Considering this, I was still unimpressed by the service I received today at Sally's. Everyone should give an allowance to businesses struggling to remain open during these uncertain times. That's a given! With this in mind, I felt like Sally's at this particular location was disorganized, unprepared, and neglectful. When I arrived the store front was tattered with signs about no customer entry and curbside service only. I followed the instructions and called a few times. Had to overcome busy signal attempts. A Sally's employee came out at one point and claimed, "I will be right with you." There was no follow up. Eventually I placed my order by phone and it took more than 15 just to give my payment information. With loitering people outside it was very uncomfortable to verbally give my credit card information over the phone. After completing my order I informed the representative I was outside and waiting. Two passerby's commented on their 30/45 minute wait experience which helped me mentally prepare. I went to look in the store 20 minutes after placing my order. I found an employee eating her Sonic burger contently while I wait outside. So very awkward. She came out about 30 minutes after my call. Relieved to get what I paid for Instill didn't fully understand the wait time. I was the only customer outside. I blame COVID-19, they are not normally this slow. Either way I would recommended shipping over stopping by. I wore a mask and protective gear for safety but the wait wasn't worth the risk and time spent.

I am…read morean ex-graduate of the Euro Institute of Skin Care and I started using Dermasource products as a student and continued to do so as a skin care professional, for the past 9 years - time during which the relationship between customer service and product price has become increasingly inversely proportional. It all started with Dermasource repeatedly not having certain items in stock and then charging shipping when they would finally be able to ship them out. So first I go through the inconvenience of having to wait for product time and time again, and then I have to open my wallet for paying shipping on back-ordered product.. as if it is the customer's fault that inventory isn't on the shelf...? Not only that, but the in-state shipping charge is a whopping $11.95; that's you, the customer, paying $11.95 when part of the order is shipped, and another $11.95 for the part of the order that Dermasource wasn't able to fulfill originally. Oh, and did I mention that they charge taxes on the shipping charge? Yes, you read correctly! They charge taxes per total of order, and one more time on the $11.95 shipping charge. I have not come across this kind of practice with any other business. And just when I thought their customer service couldn't possibly get any poorer, UPS lost my order several months ago. I contacted Dermasource and was told that I had to contact UPS and figure it out. I called UPS. UPS told me that I personally couldn't do anything about it and that it was Dermasource who needed to contact them on this issue. That made sense. So I called Dermasource back.. and I was like a ping-pong ball talking to both of them trying to get my order. The kicker was that Dermasource wasn't willing to re-ship the order until they reached some resolution with UPS. So even though they took the money out of my account right away - and I am talking a few hundred dollars' worth - they didn't ship another order until three (3!) weeks later. I e-mailed the owner a while back with these concerns and his response was just what I expected: nonexistent. If I love a product I will continue to buy it even if prices continue to rise. However when I am not valued as a customer I will take my business somewhere else. It is one thing to make a mistake (we all do) and another to mistreat a loyal customer and to glaringly ignore their input.

I went to go pay and she just had a really unfortunate attitude. She wouldn't even look at my sister and I. I asked about chrome powders and her overall attitude was not it, almost as if we were a bother to her. I didn't even fully stock up on my supplies I needed because I don't want to support a business who doesn't respect their customers or show any decency at all. I'll stock up when I go back to LA for a week instead.
