I've now just picked up my second car from Ultra, and they did a beautiful job on this classic white Genesis. My first car was in a fender dender, another Hyundai, and while they were not the cheapest quote, I liked Steve and it was only a hundred bucks more or so, and so we gave it a gamble. But it didn't prove to be that much of a gamble, as I saw the reviews, and the car looked brand new when I got it back. Loved that they detailed it out nicely after their work. A+ service! I had some hack job replace my bumper after an accident. It started to fall off so I took it in to Ultra Collision. Within minutes Steve helped put my bumper back on, replaced the clips, and glued it just in case. Not to mention he felt bad for the crap job the other place did on my bumper so he did all of this free of charge! Recently moved out to AZ from the east coast. I relied on YELP to find a body shop when we caught the side of the garage pulling in one day. I checked out a few different places that I found with good reviews and ultimately went with Steve and his team at Ultra. When i pulled into the lot I saw vehicles ranging from luxury to your daily driver. Once insurance got involved Steve took over from there, within two weeks the car was finished and looked as good as new. Needless to say, most of us don't choose to frequent an Auto Body Repair facility. in 2002 my 2002 model Dodge Truck with less than 1K miles on it was hit twice! Neither time was it my fault, and both times it was repaired by Ultra Collision. Well, it's 2015 now and my 2013 car was hit (again, not my fault). I called Ultra Collision to see if/when they could fix my car. During that call I also made the comment that my main reason for contacting them again was due to the previous repairs being undetectable. What I mean is, you weren't able to tell that my truck had ever been hit. Steve assured me the same quality workmanship was being offered, and in fact the same guy that painted my truck would be painting my car. I scheduled for the repair, and on the day I dropped the car off Steve had 1 of his people take me to the rental car place, He said it would be faster for him to take me, than to have them come get me. My car was done 2 days prior to the promised date, and again the repair was undetectable. I called Enterprise to attempt to coordinate the return of my rental, and they said simply leave the rental at the Body Shop and they'd come get it. In short, the quality of the repair could not have been better, and not having to do ANYTHING with the insurance company/rental car people made it pain free. Although I hope to NEVER be a customer again (no one wants to be in a wreck), if/when it happens I'll be back. BTW, I live in Chandler and work in Glendale, so this is NOT the closest shop for me to go to, it is however the shop that I have come to respect/trust. I am glad I did not hire this business. I was referred to this business by my insurance agent. I called and nobody answered the phone. No even receptionist to answer and take messages. I tried one more time and finally I talked to the MR. Peterutti and made an appointment. since I live in Ahwatukee-Foothills and the shop is in central Phoenix, MR. Peterutti Agreed to look at my car in his private domicile. I make an appointment for the next day but that was as far as we went. I called and called and called and he finally answered his phone after many attempts just to tell me that it was raining and he didn't want to look at my car under the rain. The thing is it was just drizzling. He said that he would be available the next day, but since it was cloudy and MR peterrutti doesn't like to do business when is cloudy or drizzling I decided to go and look for a more professional business with better customer service. Definitely a total lack of customer service skills and lack of professionalism. Bad experience. read more
