I should have read views! And should have known by their Hokey Pokey website they were shady and there would have been a problem. The website was difficult to navigate, information was vague and the cancellation page was lengthy and full of disclosures. If I am going to do full service, I'll do it at home. This was the reason for the cancellation. It's been a week and crickets. The cancellation is done through a 3rd party. They were quick to take my money and not quick to cancel. I have sent 4 emails and this fly by night business wants to create every obstacle to keep your money. Ugh! My time is valuable for this nonsense. Don't do it! And don't make my mistake. I have a monthly membership from the Duluth location. The membership allows me to go to any of their branches. I have been going to the Suwanee location when I am on that side of town. The bar code scanner read my membership but says it is not in the computer. There are two reasons I do not put the car wash tag on my car. One, I have a tiny they interferes with it. Secondly, it looks horrible. The attendant told me that I about allowed to have it I told him I have had it for over two years. He then walked away and said that I would have to go to the Duluth branch to resolve it. I asked to speak to the manager and to have home call over to the Duluth location. The attendant had no desire to help and wanted to pass the work off to someone else. He walked away. Poor service. I called customer service and canceled my membership. read more

The wash itself is decent. Not great but worth $10/mo for unlimited washes. But the way this business is run could not be more inefficient. Moreover, the employees are often downright depressing. I get that customers have minimal contact with the employees but they can do a better job with hiring. No one seems to be happy working here so maybe something for management to look into... also, forget calling specific locations bc you'll get connected to their umbrella company & be sent to voicemail after being on hold for 5 minutes. ‍ Today, I drove into the lot while some employees were coning the area off. I asked one employee if they were closing up & he retorted, "We aren't open. I don't know why the f- people can't see that" & then proceeded to cuss me & the customer who drove by before me out. First visit and very pleased! Customer is phenomenal! When I first pulled up, a young woman ran up (yes, RAN! Lol) yo my window to tell me about the different services attached to the prices. Helped me make a decision and even swiped my card. Totally unnecessary but goes a long way. I noticed that the SUV in front of me had a windshield wiper on the back window and they out plastic on it for protection, can't see that I've seen that at any other car washes. Gorgeous day after a series of rainy days so they did have a sign posted saying that the vacuum area was limited to 10 minutes. Speaking of the vacuums, great suction! They have the mat cleaning station if you so choose. I like that they had glass cleaner and towels to dry your car. Both are very important for me. I hate water spots!! Again, some one ran up to my car to give me towels. Awesome customer service. This isn't my side of town but I'd it were, I'd definitely make it as a regular spot. They have a $10 unlimited membership, which is very attractive. My last car was was $30/month. Totally worth it but this is a steal!! Love this place! read more

First off, the location is super convenient. We have had a membership for over a year and still feel it is a good value. Originally we had the $9.99 a month membership but my husband recently upgraded to the $25 one. We ran through the car wash this past Friday. On Saturday, our car was parked outside and it poured. My husband remarked today that he likes the wax that the wash puts on the vehicle and that even though it rained there weren't any water spots on the vehicle because of the rain. He gave credit to the wax that the wash puts on the vehicle. The service is all over the board. There are some employees that work hard and others that just go through the motions. That seems to be the case overall these days. The vacuum cleaners are always in good working order and we have never had to wait to use one. Overall we are pleased with our membership. read more

I have been used the Ultra car wash couple years for 3 cars with wash only, I paid $30 for 3 cars, have replaced the card, they try to charge me $12.99 per each, I have talked with manager (?) about the same payment that I have paid, but he just said No! Well, I don't need to use here but you just lost the customer who has 3 cars and not using car wash often because working from home. Wash only was $10/mo, and next level was $15. My wife was out and decided to run her Mercedes through the car wash. A little background, we bought this car in 2016 from Atlanta Classic Cars in Duluth and it is very well taken care of. I have attached photos of before and after the following incident. About half way through the wash cycle the heavy brushes ripped the windshield molding loose and it was beating on the car. She immediately went to the office and reported the damage to an attendant. The attendant laid the molding back in place and told her this happened all the time and that it was good to go. My wife insisted on filing an incident report and was told someone from their insurance company would contact her. She left and the molding flew completely off about a 1/4 mile down the road. Fast forward two weeks and she received a call from Donovan who is a manager with the car wash. He told her that they watched the video and could not see any previous damage but were not going to compensate her for theill damage that they caused to her vehicle, because it MUST have had previous damage. Great customer service, glad to have you as part of our community, NOT. If you run a carwash with spinning brushes and heavy microfiber towels that drag along the top of vehicles, you are going to damage a vehicle from time to time, we understand that. But at least have the decency to pay for the damage that is caused by your equipment. read more

I would give this car wash ZERO stars if I could! My tail lights covers both got damaged in the car wash and Ultra Car Wash will not take responsibility for it because my car is 10+ years old! Their associate clearly found it in their car wash! So I advise anyone and everyone, especially people with cars 10 years or older not to come here. If they damage your car you will be stuck with damage to your car and they will not take responsibility for it!!! Spoke with a manager and a district manager. They will offer you a month/two free car wash, but is that justifiable when your car can potentially get FURTHER damage and they will not cover that as well! Don't even chance it, because you will be stuck with a bill more than the car wash itself. read more

The car wash broke the shark fin antenna off the top of the car I was getting washed. The person in charge came out and started a damage claim and said they would get back to us in a day or two after they reviewed the videos. A few weeks and many calls later they finally get back to us and say they are not responsible because they have a sign stating they are not responsible for any damages. read more

I had such a great experience here with the help of Luis that I had to leave another review. Luis help me when I was transferring memberships from my old car to the new car. My car had some issues with apparently acid rain and there were some blemishes because of that. He allowed me to run my car through the carwash a second time and also took the time to scrub the areas by hand where the acid rain had affected the paint. He did all this in a very cheerful and positive manner. He turned what was a pretty negative situation for me around into a pleasant and enjoyable experience. It is times like these that allow a company to truly shine by the actions of their employees. Luis made the most of that opportunity! I highly recommend this car wash to others! read more

Not sure what happened to this business. They used to offer emissions testing in addition to the automatic car wash and self vacuum and self drying stations. I knew they stopped with the emissions which is fine but it seems the whole place is slowly going downhill. I went today to get a basic wash but mostly I went for the self service vacuum section. I got a $10 wash and when I pulled into the self service area I noticed many of the spots were blocked off. When I did park and look for the towels they used to offer I realized there were none. They now offer throw away paper towels. You can use the windex spray but it's chained down so you have to spray a handful of paper towels and walk back to your car. Not a huge deal but seems wasteful to me. The vacuum at my station barely had any suction. As in it would not pick up a single piece of dirt in my floorboard. I walked around and hand tested 4 other vacuum. Same problem. I saw other ppl with the same frustration on their faces when they attempted to vacuum. I gave up and left. The car was clean enough on the outside even with the basic wash but I was super disappointed with the self service stations. Why even have them?? Those vacuums used to be amazing. I won't go back. Based on other reviews the car wash itself can be dangerous and damaging -so I wouldn't even go back for a wash. Recommend wash and vacuum at home! read more

I think this place changed owners because definitely the service has decay. We went to wash our car and now it no longer provides towels to dry nor car sprays. There is no signs indicating this. They only have two rolls of paper towels in front of their door to dry the cars and only offer two bottles of straps. The bottle of sprays are attached to a chair so you can't take them. There is only one option to use for vacuum which was the regular and don't have the small one for the corners. I thought we were the only one surprise, but when others also parked by us to dry their car, they were also surprised. The quality of the car wash was also not on par as in the past. My advice, go to another place unless you want a quick wash and bring your own towels. read more

2/17-18/2020 update. Here we go again. Car wash closed for past two days. What they really need is some hoses and buckets so you can wash you vehicle yourself. Frequently broken car wash equipment and staff doesn't have a clue on when it will be fixed, just say come back tomorrow. The only positive aspect I can mention is the pricing. Very fair pricing for unlimited, however, what's the point of unlimited when the machine is frequently broken down? I was in desperate need for a car wash and had some time to kill before a dentist appointment in the area. I was directed to this car wash by one of the gas attendants down the street from them at the BP station. I was looking for a quick wash and was happy to vacuum my own car. The customer service at this location was great. An attendant immediately walked up to my car and helped me select my preferred wash using the automated pay system. I never can get my tires to align properly on the car wash tracks so got some help there and I was on my way to a cleaner vehicle! One of the most important features I appreciate at these "self car wash" businesses are the strong vacuums. It's always a turn off when you leave the car wash station and pull up to one of their vacuums to find out that the suction stinks. All the vacuum stations here were fully operating and I was definitely satisfied with the equipment offered. They even have a stand that has a stack of paper towels and spray bottles full of window cleansers/car freshners. If you're in the Suwanee area, near exit 111 off of 85 and need a quick car wash, this is your spot. They are located near a shopping center and you can't miss them. read more

I had a great experience. After a week long road trip around the Southeast I pulled the car in for a wash in an attempt to get the millions of bugs I murdered on the road. If youve driven in the South you know what Im talking about. A few spots looked like I smashed a small bird. So like I said the car is covered in bugs and baked on from a week of southern sun. I run through the wash and then pull into the lot for the FREE car vac. The attendant and manager stopped by a few times to see if I needed some more towels. When I mentioned that all the bugs didnt come off the attendant immediately offered a second run through the was for free. The Attendant and the manager met me at the entrance and scrubbed the remaining bugs off with soapy sponges! Top notch service to me! read more

Good location with a reasonable price. (They even have a $15 / month unlimited option). This is mostly a self serve wash. You drive into the tunnel after a worker preps your car. When you come out the other side you are on your own for vacuum and drying. They provide paper towels and air freshener. Downsides: wheels were still filthy. Bring lots of rags to finish the job. I have no talent for cleaning my inside windows. So, they remain dirty. (This is my number one reason I go to a full service wash!) vacuums were about what you might expect. (Not great, not terrible) Beyond that, I liked the place. I went there because they were the only wash open on Labor Day. For the reasons I mentioned I'll probably default to a normal full service wash, but it's nice to know this place is available as a backup. read more

This is has to be the worst car wash place I've ever been too. The workers were nice but he told me every wash comes with vacuuming. He never told me it was a self clean after the wash. After the wash my car was still dirty. I still have dirt in every corner of my car. I didn't know it was a self cleaning and vacuuming kind of car wash place it was my first time here. SCAM ! Twice after going to this location my debit card encountered recurring purchases. The first instance went on for a year of monthly charges until realized; I called and the money was refunded. Most recently after paying $7 for a wash the monthly $10 charge started the next day and because after calling and canceling the charge the recurring charge has gone on for 3 months. The answer got when called is that a recurring change was set up, they cannot refund, I am welcome to cancel and finish the month paid for. Even though I live a state away and haven't been to the location since the first $7 wash. SO FAR I HAVE BEEN CHARGED $37 DOLLARS FOR ONE CAR WASH. The employees of this place are all incompetent, careless and uninformed. I am sure the mistake happens when they come out to your car after you are frustrated waiting on the broken machine and they talk to you like you are stupid and take a payment from you angrily wishing they could go sit back down inside.
