I had called six other companies about a remodel on my pool and spa. They either never responded, said they don't do remodels or gave me bids that insulted my intelligence. Javier just re-tiled and resurfaced my entire pool and spa for a price that no one came close to matching. The work was outstanding. I have been using this pool service company for a little less than a year. I should have discontinued their service along time ago because I now have black algae in my pool. Several times I was told that my pool was cleaned (on Tuesday), I would go check the pool and it was still dirty. The pool turned green multiple times and owner claimed it was my fault. I check my cameras and there is no recording of the pool person at my property. Nothing on the front camera or 2 backyard cameras. My pool also overflowed several times leaving me with a large water bill because they left the fill valve on and did not notify me that it was not working properly. My last invoice was for $180 which charged me for extra chemicals and filter cleaning. I went to go clean the filter myself, you know since the pool was green and literally mud came out of them like they haven't been cleaned in a long time despite being charged for them to be clean. I had another company come out to check my pool after the owner told me multiple times he was already there to clean it. I guess he's a ghost because he was never seen on camera. The new pool company told me I have black algae and it will be $500 to clean and remove it. Please do not use this company. read more

I explained to Javier what we would like done to our pool and spa. I asked for 2 estimates 1 for the spa to be redone in all tile like it is now. And 1 with quartz plaster and some tile work. Along with redoing the pool, deck and other stuff. Javier tells me no problem we can do that. So when I get the estimate the is no estimate for the spa to get retiled. I reached out to Javier and he said we don't do that. Well if you don't do something then be upfront and honest with people from the beginning. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

Used them for 2 plus years and within the last couple of month the quality of pool cleaning went way down hill...emailed them about pool turning green and was emailed back about why possibly our pool was turning, responded back with can we just get the situation remedied so we can use our pool again....3 week later still a green pool and $170 bill on top of it I called another pool cleaning service and by the time they left my pool was almost back to normal...Save yourself the time and hassle of having a pool that you can't use and go with another pool service. *also when the new pool service came to check my pool 3 days after the tech was at my house I was told there was zero chlorine in my pool SMH read more

0 customer service... we just moved to a new home last night where these guys have been servicing the house while the house was under renovation.. the service door had a problem so i told them to ring the bell... their "technician " rang the bell and we had 4-5 movers unpacking and moving stuff here and there... so no one realized the bell once but the gate was open in 3 minutes and later i get an email.. we will not wait next time bla bla bla and if we have to come back we will charge extra etc and stuff.. i dint want to engage so just told them to cancel my services... there are a 1000 pool cleaning services with much better service.. avoid these people!! read more

When I first called them, they showed up on time and did a good job. However, they did forget the part I needed, they text me back and said they have it, even sent a picture of it. I also hired them for filter cleaning every 3-4 months. Since then, I have never heard back from them, never got my part needed, and no show on filter cleaning. Not good business values. read more

We've had terrible experiences with this guy. Starting with last year, I got him both contracts to acid wash my next door neighbor and my pool. Before the job started, his equipment broke down, so he borrowed my entry level power washer to do the entire job. It took longer than normal, so the pool was empty for days. He refilled it using our hose and the plaster started bubbling and peeling almost immediately. He said he'd fix it, but never did. Other pool techs said the pool was left in the sun too long. Then, when he was done charged me full price. I tried him again about a year later, just yesterday to fix a leak on the pool filter housing. I paid him $85. Once he left my house, the union on the pool pump started leaking badly. I texted him to let him know and he responded with "go do it yourself" and I can't be there until next week and then tried to reason that it wasn't him who did it. I told him not to ever come to our home again. Our neighbor wont use him either anymore. There's so much more I could say, but I wont. Just beware, he doesn't warrant his work. Do not believe anything he says. Good luck, if you use him. I'll post pictures later. read more

Very unprofessional company all the way after I terminated there services and requested my gate key Javier left my yard unsecured no integrity. Jaxvier does not take care of the pools nor do his techs. I hired jaxvier to acid wash my pool which looked great when it was done but the service got really bad. The tech would show up and leave 10 min later . I decided to talk to the tech and question him why does my pool keep getting algae within a week. So from what I was told Jaxvier doesn't use shock!!!! Because of the lack in service and chemicals the pool now has BLACK algae!!! Worst pool service ever!!! read more

I started Service in April and was never impressed but the service was adequate. It was frustrating the the tech spoke virtually no English so if I had a question I had to call the owner. The company is barely capable of anything more than skimming pool and adding some chemicals. I have two properties and in 5 months of service not a single request on scheduling was accommodated. I asked if they could service before 10am on any day of the week or any time on Wednesday, The response No, they are only in the area Thursday and are usually done by 10am, two days later on Thursday they came out at 1pm. As far as communication It would take days to a week to get a response from the owner. Whoever is in charge of invoicing will respond to you in the rudest most condescending language I have dealt with in a company that contracted for work. They also arbitrarily decided to add a fee for virtually any method of payment right before sending out an invoice. read more

Needed a new pump housing unit. Javier quickly responded and provided the best quote. Within two days of the quote Javier came out and made the repair and fixed some additional fittings. He stuck to his quote. After he left I noticed there was still some water leaking from the newly installed unit. When we purchased our new house, the pool was absolutely sparkling. Since we were out of state, we had to rely on the information received via our real estate agent. She texted us on the day of the closing inspection on 06/22/18 and told us that the pool was looking cloudy. We asked for a referral and received the name of Javier at Ultimate Pool. We spoke with him on the same day and I told him we would not be able to move until the middle of July and did not want the pool to look like a swamp when we finally arrive. On June 22, he charged us for the month of June plus a start up fee ($150 total) and then we paid for July on 7/11 ($120). We were stuck and didn't complain. We visited for the weekend just after the Fourth of July and the pool was getting green. When I texted him on July 9 about being unhappy with the condition of the pool, he texted back and said that he had been there four times and he had cleaned the main filter each time. He also blamed the condition of the yard, said it needed cleaning. I do not know how that contributes to green algae. I explained that I had cleaned the entire yard while I was there and understood that the wind was blowing debris into the pool - still doesn't explain green. On July 11, we texted him again because we did not receive the promised text on how we were going to proceed. Javier texted back and said there had been a crazy storm and he was backed up. He sent us a quote for the new filter - filter $800; install $350. Since there was nothing else we could do long distance, we agreed to have him install a new filter. We did check the filter on Amazon to make sure it had good reviews and truthfully - to see what it was selling for. Javier did not gouge us on the filter price, however I do believe installation was a bit high. On Friday July 13, he advised us he would install the filter on the following Monday (16th). One week later there was some improvement, yet not enough to allow us to go in the pool. July 30, two weeks after the new filter was installed it was still green. We called around and found someone else to service the pool. The new service came out on 7/31 and treated the pool. On August 1, the new service had someone come out and clean the new filter and allowed me to watch, so I could learn. I really appreciated that and the filter really needed the cleaning. The day after the filter was cleaned, we were swimming in our pool. We were unable to swim in the pool for a month after we bought the house. I don't know how much longer it would have taken to be able to swim in the pool had we stayed with Ultimate. read more

We Started Ultimate Pool Service the First Tuesday of January, they came out and did the servicing (Good). 2 weeks later I had my gate unlocked and the pool cover retracted awaiting their arrival, never came so I sent Javier and email asking what happened to them and he stated; Good morning First time we went we realize that someone else had service the pool, if I'm correct that was January 4. Went that following tuesday so I told my tech not to go till I get back to town. Now I had paid them for the month of January. My Old Pool maintenance was done by Pool Tech. and they finished up there December service on January 4th, I emailed Javier back and said that I didn't think 3 weeks was our agreement and haven't heard a thing back from him. On the 3rd week I again unlocked the gate and retracted the pool cover and again they were a NO Show and haven't got back to me on many emails sent to them, I do believe that Javier is the owner so as an owner he doesn't provide a service that he said his company would. Lesson as I was told throughout my life, You get what you pay for! Going back to my old service Pool Tech. L.L.C., they may be a little higher but they are very good about an issue if one comes up and never have missed an appointment. read more
