She is on a search for double pikake plants and wants to grow them all over her property. She doesn't care for the single flowers. Rukin came by to ask if we needed any help. He is super friendly and knowledgeable about the plants on the property. Over 5 acre property next to the mountain view. Alas! No double pikake available at the moment he has only the single type. Rukin was kind to reccomend 2 other nursery we can check out. Mom ended up purchasing a beautiful ombre looking potted plant and I got a japan honeysuckle that had a sweet aroma. 5 stars for service and friendly smile from Rukin. Mom received bonus 2 gallon pots from Rukin too. Call ahead to check office hours during covid. Prices were much lower than the local Home depot. 5 gold stars all the way! Just came from koolina lagoon 4 and they were cutting the grass there with their lawnmowers. They should check their machines cause one of them was spewing smoke when on idle - some of the runners were pissed. The maintenance person continues to use the machine and didn't care even when it was pointed out to him buy a beach goer. - they should be considerate or maintain and fix their machines (blue smoke all over the place). I'm all for maintenance but this was just plain bad especially by that worker who knew it was bad. read more

We recently hired Ultimate Innovations to create a landscape plan after we finished remodeling the house I grew up in, located in a suburb of Honolulu. There was a fee for planning, which included several consultations, an initial design based on what we said we were looking for, and then several revisions until we were totally happy. After the plan was done, we could shop it around for quotes on the installation, but after hearing glowing recommendations from several people in the neighborhood, we decide to have them proceed to do the project. If you do that, the fee is applied to the contract price. We had done an earlier landscaping job at our former home. Ultimate Innovations far exceeded the standards of the company we used before. The challenge we gave them was to create a visually mix of existing mature plants and new plants. Some of the existing plants have been in the yard for 60 years or more, so we wanted to retain and even showcase them. The crew from Ultimate Innovations did an incredible amount of prep work, brought in large amounts of new soil and mulch, installed a fantastic sprinkler system with all the bells and whistles, and in the end it looks fantastic. They include 3 months of maintenance with their installation contract, and we're looking forward to seeing this part of their work. If it's up to the standard of their installation, they'll be head and shoulders above the companies we've used previously. Ultimate Innovations did cost somewhat more than their competitors, at least in our case. There was a bit of sticker shock at the front end for us, but their detailed planning, skill and professionalism, and the beauty of the end result, left us feeling that it was well worth every penny. read more

They did a landscape job at our apartment complex about 6 months ago. The job looked good but.....ever since they put the new soil in, we (the whole complex) have had a millipede invasion. They came out to treat it once I believe, but the problem still persists. Try going to the bathroom at night and having to step on these things, in your own home. One word, unacceptable. I hired Ultimate Innovations to swap out a portion of my yard for flowering plants to smell nice. I asked for something pretty simple. They suggested they could provide me with some plans of various options. Although I initially thought this was overkill for such a simple job, it turned out that the plans were really nicely thought out and I could totally visualize how it would look in each scenario. Needless to say, all three options were WAY better looking that what I had in mind, and the cost was not substantially different. The scheduling was easy, and the day they did the install I couldn't believe how quickly and beautifully they took care of the job. The employees were super nice and very professional. Ultimate innovation, it was awhile back. Sorry about the bad review there was a communication break down of who was what at the time. Your personal work for another person. The way they just broke branches from brush was stunning to have seen instead of cutting it off. But eventually it was all removed. And it looked like a waste land after.
