Brought a vehicle in for some warranty work on window tinting that was installed 6 years ago. My appt was at 8:30 and they got the vehicle in before the shop opened at 9am. Hello Everyone. I called Ultimate Body to get my widows tinted. the guy gave me a price for my vehicle, and said, they only do Wednesday. i said, do you need to make an appointment, he said, yes! that they only do by appointment. I said, do you have appointments for next Wednesday? he said, yes! what times do you have? he said, they are open for appointment, no one is on the books, so i made the appointment for 9am. when i got there at 9am Wednesday, the guy at the counter said, there was three people already ahead of me and i would need to come back in 2 hours at 11am, so i did. then when i got back there, the guy at the counter said, it will be another 45 minutes. i am writing this post only because i don't want other people to be miss lead like they did me, and wasted 2 hours of my time. my time is just as precious as their time is. i wouldn't trust them as they give you fault information, and not to go there.... thank you for your time in reading this post. they need to learn customer service and how to manage it. i'll give a one (1) star and that is being kind. read more

Start the set appointment morning off with them telling you that parts that they said that had in stock a week prior weren't actually the correct ones for my vehicle. Then If you like to be told one price on the phone to get you in for the business. Then you have them do the work and then they add more onto the bill after they're already done with the job without a heads up and you're forced to pay it. Then not to be told when you're paying over the phone with a credit card that there will be a $30 charge for that payment type when I could have went in there with a check or cash to save myself $30. This is the worst place ever! Do not go here unless you want to be overcharged for less than acceptable service. I asked them to install a light receptacle and a hitch. Not only did they not do it, when I called they said, "come on in we're not that busy". When I got there he couldn't do it and was laughing in my face while defending himself denying all accountability. Worst owners ever. I rounded the corner, and went to auto one. Who did it in 2 minuets and ALWAYS charge less for the same services. Do NOT patronize this poorly run business. read more

Went to pay for my service, used my credit card and they charged be an extra 2% without telling me. When I inquired about the extra credit card fee, Their response was "all companies charge the extra fee" well all companies that I know of don't charge this fee and when they do they keep the customer know. Unbeknownst to me, I also left with my front seat soaking wet. I have leather seats with holes for ventilation. My sweats were all black from the water and seat. Waiting to see if my sweats will come clean. read more

Probably the most unreliable business I've ever encountered. They were a no show for a scheduled on site appointment to install a radio. They didn't return the voicemail message regarding the no show and when I called back the next business day, Rob did apologize, scheduled another appointment to come out the following day, but canceled and then failed to call back with a new time as promised. Totally unreliable. I can't speak to the quality of their work, because they never provided a service. Look elsewhere for a more dependable business. read more

Great place and people to work with. Starts with convenient location in Brighton. The Ultimate Team is friendly and courteous to work with. Paul and Rob are the best in the business. Knowledgeable and accommodating. I have bought accessories and had services on my truck performed, and have always been highly satisfied. I just picked up my 2020 GMC after having a front wrap and Jade coating applied. The truck looks better than when it came off the lot at the dealer. Detailing done on our Cadillac brought it back to literally better than when we bought it used from a dealership. Very friendly staff who when all was done went over the vehicle and pointed out places that needed to have touch up paint or repairs done. I took my car here, and they did a fantastic job cleaning it. In fact, they did too good of a job and removed the DNR and Metroparks stickers I just bought for the year. When I talked to the staff about it, they claimed I was trying to get them to pay for last year's sticker. They refused to pay for it, or apologize. read more

Robert and his team do an amazing job! I have a Malamute that spent a couple years shedding while travelling north in my Yukon. Paid a little extra to have it de-haired and it looked good as new. My wife bought me a gift certificate for Christmas, was good for a year, but then the fire. Now that they are re-opened, I called and was told too bad. The girl told me, that they re-located, which I was unaware of and then she said, it could have been brought in right after Christmas. What does a year mean? Then she proceeds to tell me they no longer offer the service anyway. I would not recommend this place for any reason, especially if you are buying a gift. A big rip off........... read more

It would be nice if this company would follow through on their commitments and were upfront on their fees charged. In June of 2019, we were told that we would be contacted when our new truck cap had arrived. In August, we eventually called to ask the disposition of our order, and were told, "Oops, it's been here for a week and we forgot to call." Then after inspecting the top and finding it the wrong color (not this businesses fault), it needed to go back to the manufacturer for new paint. I requested that the interior be carpeted while there, and was told it would be no problem. In September, 2019, the top returns uncarpeted. Again the response was "Oops, I forgot to process the paperwork." They offered to Carpet the interior at another time, "for their cost", in compensation, which we declined due to the now 3+ month process this has become. Then, to add insult to injury, they charged us a " 3% Convenience Fees" when using a credit card without prior notification. Inquiry into this practice after the transaction resulted in a hostile response from all counter staff members present, stating they clearly post the convenience fee. This of course resulted in an equally inhospitable, although more blunt response which is now regrettable. We did eventually find the notification of the convenience fees under some papers on the sales counter, but no where else the sales staff mentioned. Had the company been upfront with this fee, we would have gladly brought the appropriate cash for the transaction and this would have been a non-issue. We are pleased with our new top and the installers were awesome and did a great job. But please be careful of the actual business practices of this organization and be prepared to follow up on every request. read more

Moved here from Phoenix 2 years ago and just walked in off the street. What a top notch group from owners to service techs. My Towncar had salt from the winter in the carpet and turtle blood in the rear carpet from a big injured animal I scooped up from the road and released into a pond near our home.....carpets looked like they had been replaced with new! After 10 years of the desert heat, while the body was spotless the leather was cracked and gray....when I picked up my vehicle 6 hours later I thought I slipped into some kinda time travel portal....this thing looked like a 2006 Lincoln dealership showroom all over again! Flawless creamy tan leather, wheels like mirrors, rain beading up all over from great wax. I go to a lot of classic car shows from little old St Clair MI to Barrett-Jackson....the finest cars in any show look no better detailed than my Ultimate job. We recently used Ultimate Body to detail a used Jeep that had pet odor and smoke. They were very up front about what they could and couldn't do. They did an excellent job getting the inside very clean and free of pet hair. A piece of their equipment was out of order that would have helped with the smoke smell, but they gave some excellent advise on how to get it out myself, I am very happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone that asks! horrible experience!!! 1.was supposed to be delivered on saturday. never called to say it wasnt ready so we showed up & told us to come back later. Then they called and said it would be ready on monday. 2.picked up and found the turn signals not working. we had to drive back to find out that the hazzard button had been pushed. that took them a whole day to figure out so...we had to go back on tuesday. 3. picked up car. voltmeter read low. alterator died. now battery dead. 4. molding between headliner and window not put back in place, 1/2" gap 5. same molding on other side is ripped 6. did work that was not authorized 7. quote was $270 + rear so how did it end up at over $900 7. i called them....they said none of this, other that #4, is their fault. read more

Key drop box is not even secured or locked! Had to make another trip next morning to drop car off. The stain that was to be removed was only a quick wiped down job I could of easily done at home! No results and they still charged me $40! If they can't do the job, they should not charge! Or at least not charge so much for a job that was not done! They said they would redo it but only did another quick wipe down. I would be very weary about this place. They would not reduce such an overly charge for a job NOT done! They did nothing to resolve the issue. I mean, sure charge me something for the effort but not the cost of a job that was to be done...poorly handled and poor business attitude! They cop up an attitude because I was upset..can you blame me! I feel ripped off after they checked on the car days before my appointment and assured me that the job would get done ...THEY DID NOT! I got better results and treatment from others places but foolish came here as I was convenience it would be a good place who could do the job..I had a friend that was to have more work done to her car and told her NOT TO so she is considering another place as well as my other friends...I will post in other sites about this place..BE WARE...!!!!!!!!!!! NOT NOT NOT RECOMMENDED! POOR SERVICE QUALITY AND STILL A HIGH CHARGE! Not too fair! PLUS they have a key drop box that is NOT locked...but yet they claim no responsibility for any stolen or lost items on their property...WHAT?????? No ethnics or considerations for your car! I should of known better! Big disappointment! I will report this place to the Better Business Bureau only because no one should be ripped off or treated like this.
