As I continued browsing, I noticed another customer walk in and be greeted right away, which made me feel the employees were picking and choosing which customers to greet. While I was shopping, a male employee named Jared (with long greasy hair) seemed to follow me around the store but didn't say hello or offer assistance. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I usually enjoy shopping at Ulta however this visit really missed the mark in terms of basic courtesy and professionalism. I hope management addresses these customer service issues so everyone feels equally welcome in the store. I will no longer shop at this location anymore.

While I shopped, a young couple came in, immediately got much better service and attention and, after buying a few things (I think they spent about $30) got a handful of free samples. When I checked out, I received no free samples and, despite knowing that I was buying gifts, they didn't offer gift wrapping or a gift bag. Hmmmm? Not sure why... These folks have lots of nice products, but they sell stuff at list price. I can save money by going elsewhere so when I shop in a high end shop, I expect the service to compensate for the higher prices. I'm disappointed that these folks miss that point. All I know is when I'm in this part of the neighborhood I can stop by for an easy in-and-out experience without the hassle of a full scale assault on any of those larger than necessary Grocery Stores. And I know you know what I'm talkin about, lol.    Last time here I picked up a container of those Super Beet Chews which I can honestly say are an excellent source of energy which lasts throughout the day. Highly Recommend.    Plus they also had Dunkin Chocolates which I haven't seen anywhere else so I grabbed them up. And after my extensive research I concluded that just like the donuts the Boston Kreme is by far the best in the bunch. The thread can also be a bit dusty since it just sits there on the table. However I never had any issues with my face breaking out, but that is also because my skin doesn't really break out. I went a few days ago because my eyebrows were a bit uneven in length and one brow is also higher than the other brow. I grew out my eyebrows so that the lady can reshape it so that it is more even. I informed the lady about my eyebrow situation and she assured me that she can fix it. Although she made the eyebrows more even in length, one eyebrow is still higher than the other. I am a cancer survivor and current cancer patient. My mom had skin cancer. My longtime dermatologist retired, and I sought reviews for a competent doctor, one that takes their time and is meticulous and detailed. This doctor was recommended. She seems to have experience and good credentials. There are a few areas of concern on my skin, and given my many diagnoses, I am anxious when I go to any doctor. First, she was very quick. I think the whole exam took 5 minutes. She didn't seem concerned about my health history. She didn't ask what meds I was on or prior meds, one which heightens your risk of skin cancer. She didn't even look at the back of my legs or move my underwear. She commented on my prior tanning in my youth and gave me the customary talk about using sun screen. I brought up the areas of concern, but she wasn't interested, and kind of blew them off, no explaination. One area is prevalent on my face. As for the staff, they are young and neutral, no care. I have seen many doctors due to my health history, this is one I would never recommend. I will notify my insurance company about my visit as this was my annual, and I need to have another competent doctor re-do the exam.

This was NOT a thorough examination especially after I had stated in the beginning of the appointment I had not been to a dermatologist in 5 years. She did not check my scalp, in between my toes, or even touch my skin at all. She quickly glanced from afar and said nothing looked suspicious. The only thing of concern she said to me during the exam was that she can tell I had used a tanning bed in my earlier years and so I'm a greater risk yet still only quickly glanced over my skin and told me I don't need to have another dermatologist appointment for atleast 5 years. I called the office manager, Nancy, to share my disappointment and ask for another appointment with a different doctor. The one star in this review is for Nancy, otherwise I would have given zero stars. Nancy was prompt, friendly, and tried to find a solution. When I was speaking with Nancy she read Dr.Almeida's appointment notes back to me where she said she examined the palms of my hands, my head, amongst other places. This is inaccurate as she did not do these things. I was offered another appointment with Dr. Almeida. I asked to meet with another doctor and the request was denied. I will be taking my business elsewhere. She does not deserve payment for the "examination" that gives her the "doctor" title.
