We discussed via phone what i was looking to accomplish and she gave me great advice and insight as to what to expect and what they could do. I made an appointment ( love their system easy to reschedule and schedule) and went after work, their hours are very accommodating. Fast forward to the appointment, greeted with infused water and good smells. Kim looked into my skin, and got to work. It was a great combo of relaxing spa and skin care. I suffer from acne and acne scarring. She gave me a plan of action and I feel very confidant going forward with treatments with her. Some highlights, they have a great selection of products and they don't press you to buy, location has plenty of parking and is on the first floor, and most importantly i left feeling great. I can not detail what Kim did, she was working and I was enjoying. I do know the next morning I noticed a difference in my skin already. As it stands I will always have an appointment for treatment to continue on my goal of clear, healthy skin.

The space was clean and calming, instantly setting the tone for a relaxing appointment. I booked the head spa treatment and was blown away by how soothing and luxurious the entire experience was. The reclining chair had a built-in full-body massage, and the facial paired with the head spa was pure bliss. Every detail was so thoughtfully done--from the high-quality products used on both the facial and scalp treatment, I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and completely pampered. This was one of the best spa visits. I will definitely be back soon and am already planning to book a girls' night here with friends. If you're looking for the ultimate self-care treat, VRPO Spa is it. Highly recommend! ‍ **Thank you, Vicki, for going above and beyond! Your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire experience truly unforgettable. Within the spa section, you really feel transported to a zen zone. I was happy to wait there, but then was left ten minutes once in my designated room for my appointment. The massage therapist listened to my specific needs and helped problematic areas of my head, neck and shoulders (since I get migraines). I was given the option for tea or water afterwards which was gladly accepted. My mothers nails were nicely done, but I hate to say they chipped just a couple days afterward. I also was disappointed she could not get a massage appointment close to mine and chose to get her nails done instead. It seems they have very few therapists on staff to do the massage appointments. Overall - I had a great experience, but I think there are definitely improvements to be made on the salon and spa sides.

To be honest, walking to Beauty City seemed a little sketchy - you park in a gravel lot across the…read morestreet, open a fence gate, walk down some astroturf into the back yard and enter into the basement of a house. That's where the magic begins. Upon entering, you are greeted by a soft, aromatherapy scent - this immediately sets the stage. You remove your shoes and change into provided slides. You are then quietly ushered into the treatment room. (Remember to silence your phone. Better yet, leave that phone in the car, this is you time.) We came for reflexology, a treatment I've never had before. While it's not required, you'll get more from your treatment by removing your shirt - sports bra is probably a good idea but you're in private so just a bra is ok too. (Remember your mom's words - always wear clean underwear!!) Oh, and wear shorts, although they will give you a pair if you forgot. First, you are given a tub of hot water with flower petals to immerse your feet in while you enjoy a neck, upper back, arm and hand massage. The oil is removed with hot towels that further ease any residual stress from your upper body. From there, you are told to lie on a the table and covered in a soft blanket while a warm, aromatherapy infused wrap is placed behind your neck. If you weren't already relaxed, here is where the melting begins. A deep massage is given to the legs and feet - you will wish this never ends. Once again, warm towels are placed on your legs and the oil wiped off. Your therapist then comes to the head of the table for a short scalp massage. All good things must come to an end. You get dressed and upon leaving the treatment room you are offered a small cup of herbal tea. A perfect ending to a perfect hour. Beauty City's prices are extremely reasonable. The spa is very clean and the therapists beyond competent. I don't live in the area (or even the same coast) but I hope to find something like this in my hometown. I highly recommend you take advantage of this hidden gem.

She's genuine and honest about expectations and reality of what procedures will and won't work for you as well as what you need to do after to ensure your service is going to work as it should. She takes her time and makes sure you are comfortable, answers questions where you can understand in "lay terms" but also she is clearly knowledgeable about the medical elements of laser etc. I've been 2x and both experiences have left me relaxed and feeling flaaaaat in the tummy. Very clean environment but not sterile and "medical" where it feels like you're at the doctor. I've also gone for botox and cannot begin to tell you that the practitioner is top tier. Again, sweet, honest, knowledgable. She has the lightest touch of any injector ive ever been to not one second of discomfort or tenderness during or after. And I am the exact level of "frozen" I wanted. She took her time and explained her theories on tox and listened to my questions and concerns after having seen many injectors over the years. Reasonably priced as well for all of their services. I highly recommend!!!
