I have found my new home! I had the most amazing pedicure experience at Nail Art and More by Kwang. I'm always hesitant going to new nail salons but from the time I walked in, I just had a great feeling. The salon was super clean and relaxing. Their pedicure chairs were so comfy. I also noticed that they clean every inch of their pedicure tubs including the filter. This really impressed me. I had a really bad in grown toe nail and Kwang aka the foot doctor gently removed and even gave me tips on how to treat at home. I didn't feel rushed at all given it was Saturday. He was so friendly and easy to talk too. The foot massage was impeccable. I can't wait to make this my regular place! read more

This is my new favorite nail salon. I'm new to the area and I walked in for a pedicure the other day. I didn't have to wait long and it was the most relaxing pedicure of my life. I told them it was my first visit there and they gave me $10 off my next visit. I also filled out a notecard with my name and info. I came in again today and had an appointment for a gel manicure. I walked right in and they recognized me from a couple days before from my pedicure. I was taken right away and welcomed like they had known my forever. I was there towards closing and I noticed them cleaning the whole salon very thoroughly making sure everything was ready for the next day. Long story short this is such a great family friendly salon that really makes you feel at home. Go there to treat yourself but also be ready to feel welcomed and relaxed. Everyone was very nice. The girls when not with a client were cleaning, not sitting around on their phones like many places these days. I went to Sunny and she did an awesome job!! I'm so happy about my whole time with her. I would give this place 4 or 5 stars but the manicures were a little mediocre. The pedicures were nice, the staff was friendly, and the chairs are very comfortable. Still, I'd rather pay a little more money and have a better job on the manicure. We went to a wedding the next day and the paint on my partners nails was already chipping off. This salon is extremely inviting. It is clean and spacious, with many services all within reasonable pricing. There is also a ton of parking! I recently moved into town and had to find a new nail place and this salon has blown my expectations and previous salon out of the water. I've never had a manicure last this long. I just went back to get them done again and Kim and Julie were amazing, I ended up not liking the design I picked out and they happily removed it and redid my nails, no questions asked and no snude remarks. This was my first time at this establishment. I rarely get my nails done, but on occasion (once every two months), I get a regular manicure (nothing fancy, just a plain manicure.) The place I usually go to was very busy, so I decided to try this place as it is closer to home. Overall, very mediocre experience for a $13 manicure. My pinky was forgotten during cuticle clipping, there was no hand soak, nails were only wiped down with hot towel after vitamin e and lotion were massaged into hand for about 10 seconds each (we will see how long the polish sticks), bumps under my polish show minimal buffing (see pictures), some nails are cut on a slight angle, and top coat was not applied over all polish. I felt as though it was rushed and messy and it wasn't even busy. I've never paid more than $12 for a manicure and I was pretty dissatisfied with this one. But again, I'm a casual nail go-er, so maybe I'm being overly dramatic. On the upside, the staff was friendly, the place was clean, there was a small massage while nails dried and I received a loyalty card (10 manicures, get 11th free.) Not sure I would come back for a regular manicure though. read more

I really don't know why this place has low stars. I went in, it's super clean, the staff is amazingly friendly, and they did a good job on my manicure! They only lost a star because of the price, it's higher than most in the area, and it's not like you're getting any extra special treatment. This was one of my worst manicure experiences in over twenty years of salon-going. I had a 4:30 appointment, but when I arrived, all employees were occupied, having accommodated walk-ins instead of honoring my appointment. I waited about half an hour before I was told to select a polish color from an unimpressive selection. I did not see a new set of tools taken out of a sanitizer for my manicure. I could tell the manicurist painting my nails was inexperienced because she was laying the polish on thickly and sloppily. I would have foregone the complimentary neck rub if I had known how poorly it was going to be executed--the oppposite of relaxing. I let my nails dry for a sufficient amount of time under the fans and lights but managed to smudge/dent about half of them hours later because of the excessively thick layers of polish. The price for this sub-par service in the suburbs was equivalent to the price I would pay in Manhattan for a manicure of much higher quality. read more

This salon was a recommendation from one of my neighbors. I called in on a Saturday to see if they had any appointments and they were able to see me right away for a gel manicure. Manicure came out great and lasted around 3 weeks. Overall very happy with the experience. read more

I actually really like this place! I am pretty picky about cleanliness and pretty obsessive when it comes to my nails looking nice (I've had times when I left a nail place and they looked worse than before I went), but they really try their hardest here to make sure you're comfortable and pampered. Went in with my friend for a pedicure prior to her birthday weekend. The place is not clean! While my feet were soaking in the tub the lady was CLEANING the tools and her hands in the tub as well. After she wrapped my foot in a hot towel she would wipe the utensils on the towel, then proceeded to drape my other foot with the same towel. After an 1 1/2 hour (longest pedi of my life) pedicure we left, my friend's toes were not completely painted and the lady missed both of my pinky toes. I know the nail bed is small but you still have to paint what is on there. Stay away, so dirty. read more

Horrible customer service - initially I wanted a gel manicure, and then decided I just wanted to do regular - the woman gave me major attitude and told me it would "chip" I had no problem - I came in with gel on and expected to pay a fee to remove it. I was completely overcharged when they told me to pay $20. I didn't even care to bother. I dont even know how much a manicure there costs but I don't care because I WONT BE BACK!! This place is new and clean, however they do not let you soak your feet for the pedicure and charge extra to remove calluses. The lady I got was a bit older and rushed me through my mani and pedi. In fact while doing the mani I had to ask her to cut my cuticles. Had I not she would have skipped over that part. Not to mention she could not speak English and was mumbling something that I did not understand. The nail polish they use does not last. I have gotten the gel mani done multiple times and this was the worst experience ever. My nail broke in two days and the polish started to chip after 3. Went here today since my usually place got shut down. I was a little nervous letting someone new do my eyebrows, but I was in desperate need. They did a great job, and reshaped them perfectly (I asked to make them a little skinnier). Plus, the place was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was so nice. It was my first time their so they gave me a loyalty card (pay for 10 services, get a regular many for free), and a coupon. I was so impressed I scheduled another appointment for a gel mani :). I almost did not go get a manicure/pedicure due to the reviews but I was glad I did. Place is beautiful, staff were very nice. Marie did my mani/pedi and was very thorough. I did NOT find the place dirty. Grace who was at the front desk was very sweet too. I enquired about facials and will definitely return. Prices were reasonable. I would have given a 5 but true enough most of the staff don't really speak English. However, think about it, what is there to say? I was looking for a new salon in the area and came across this salon. While the manicures and pedicures are a bit more pricey than others in the area it is 100% worth the extra money. They are super clean, they do a fabulous massage, and my manicures and pedicures last. I'm so relaxed I could fall asleep in the chair. The staff is also really friendly! Couldn't be happier I found this place! It is under new management and it has drastically improved! The service is outstanding and the staff is the friendliest I have encountered anywhere in this area! I have tried multiple nail salons in the area and this is now my go to place. The spa pedicures are super relaxing (love the moisture wrap!) and the massage is heaven. My gel manicures are fantastic and Esther does an amazing ombré design that I get lots of compliments on! I came upon this salon by accident... And I'm glad I did. My first visit I was a walk-in and only had to wait about ten minutes (the place was quite busy). I am very particular about my nails - I have been using silk wraps / powder for years but was unable to receive this service (they are not the only salon that has told me this - even down the jersey shore when I go, they say that is outdated) . They offered me an acrylic manicure - was hesitant at first but I gave it a try. Well now my nails last 3 weeks between fill-ins and the polish stays on very well. After all is done and drying time begins , they give you a good 5-7 minutes back/shoulder massage. Feels good I found the salon to be very clean, easy access to get to and accommodating. read more
