We were off to a rough start when they called to ask us to come in fifteen minutes early at noon so we could have a longer consult time. We showed up early, but they didn't actually get to us until after 12:15 because they were working on other clients. Halle asked us about the colors we wanted and then they sent a girl to go buy our color. That was probably the second cue to leave. They didn't actually start on use until 12:40. So we spent 5 full hours there :( I suspected the color wasn't going to be as rich since the rinse, shampoo and conditioning was all done with hot water and there was nothing placed on the hair to seal it. I do wish that someone would have said something then about the blue only being on the bottom two inches of my hair, or the the fact that it was blue and not purple. Halle did my blow dry and when it was all done she turned me to the mirror and explain how it didn't "take". No options given for how to make it better... just a whole lot of explanation. After Halle left for the day, Caitlin did offer have us, because by this time she was to the point where my nieces splotchiness was visible, come back next weekend for a fix. The place was so cute, they do offer drinks and as long as you aren't going to fashion colors- the hair I saw in there looked great. Or take notice of the yelper that did get hers done correctly and ask for Kim. I am getting mine fixed next week somewhere else. I'm getting a manicure pedicure and I'm going to get a gel manicure. She tries to sell me to a dip manicure which I don't like the dip. I don't like the way it feels on my nails I normally just get a regular manicure because these other manicures really aren't that good for your nails but it's summer so I thought I'd get a shiny gel manicure. She gets through my feet. I'm not sure if she put a topcoat or not. I wasn't paying attention. It does not look like she put a topcoat or she didn't sand down the nail, so it was not smooth before she polished it. It looks very rigid and on top of it she smudges my left big toenail and doesn't fix it and I was a little taken a back we go to the chair upfront to do the manicure she barely soaks. My cuticles cuts them, and it hurts and then she cut it to the point that one of them bled and that's when I had had enough. I said I'm not going to get a manicure so I go up to the front to pay. She comes there she doesn't want me to talk to the lady at the desk, I can see that so I left and I called and the lady at the desk who said to please come back and that they'll give me a gift certificate. When you go to get your nails done, it should be a good time. Not a frustrating painful time lol I've never had a bad time there before but I appreciate the way The phone call went. It was good Customer Service but it might be time to find somebody else it's hard to go in a place after a bad experience. Even though I've never had one there before, so I guess I'll have to decide.
