Uhl Stonework & Epoxy Floors is a great company who sincerely cares about its customers and the quality of workmanship.
You will see the negative review from "Erwin O." aka Albert McNeill, who has 11 one star reviews complaining of being victimized by places such as thrift stores and Sam's Club. I hardly think you can make a real living off of copy and pasting negative Yelp reviews.
Albert requested an estimate from Uhl Stonework through email, Albert said he thought it was too high, Uhl Stonework asked to call and discuss our price with you, but instead Albert felt the need to email a photo showing a portion of your "paralegal" diploma from a community college in Aurora Colorado in May of 2007.
Albert claims that the average contractor says that the cost should be $5,700, which is completely false when the concrete at 4,000 psi alone will cost you with tax $4,800-5,000 for 1,600 sq.ft. Yes, you have to add tax which is added by the concrete company after you actually order it, then add the cost of the labor for digging and grading the driveway and walkway areas, installing the forms, pouring and installing the concrete professionally, travel, general costs any true company will charge.
Yes, we have many great reviews on Google and Home Advisor for a good reason. We like to TALK to our customers and help them understand the other side, being the contractor. You have to understand that we have bills for insurances, vehicles, equipment, licensing, bonding, workers comp, material certifications, osha safety certifications, travel, employees, quality control and the list goes on.
Now, that you have been educated Mr. McNeill, I hope you will see more than one side of the story, seeing as that what the AMERICAN legal system stands for.
Keep in mind we never met Albert McNeill, he contacted us through Home Advisor and declined to speak to us over the phone. We never said or implied any mal intent towards Albert McNeill that would cause him to react in such a manner and so we felt the need to inform Yelp users of the kind of disregard for real hard working American businesses.
Yelp will let you post anything about anyone without the ability to prove claims, so basically any company can be bullied or defamed because they claim it as "Free Speech." If you want the truth about our company speak with any of our paying customers and they will be shocked anyone went to these lengths to throw their "legal" education around over a FREE estimate. read more
