They could have declined the appointment or reached out to say they did not want this work, and anyone would understand that. This was rude and a huge red flag about their business model. I hired them for a simple concrete job that should have taken two days, but after three months of constant rescheduling, it became clear they had no intention of doing the work. They rescheduled me more than 15 times! Some excuses, like heat waves, made sense, but most were just ridiculous--family issues, vacations, or being busy with other customers who I had booked before. It's clear that they prioritize everyone and everything over their clients. Dimitri, the owner, had no problem collecting the $1000 deposit the same day of our agreement, but took over 10 days to return it when I finally had enough. They basically wasted my entire summer stringing me along, offering one excuse after another, without ever starting the job. If you want to deal with a company that treats its customers like an afterthought, go ahead and hire Total Masonry. Otherwise, avoid them at all costs and find someone who actually wants to work. This isn't a business--it's a joke.

We decided to have our driveway extended to the side of our garage with a pad for parking and extra vehicle. Got quotes from multiple contractors and Steve had the best price. Not only that, he was the friendliest and very responsive. The project was delayed a bit due to our own vacation plans and a communication oversight when the crew showed up the first time for the project (they didn't realize they had to demolish an old sidewalk and didn't have access to their dumptruck that day). No problem for us since we agreed up-front that we were flexible on the timing of the work and Steve could fit us in when he had room between larger projects. Steve was always responsive throughout the entire process and would email back within 1 day and text back immediately, whenever I reached out with questions or comments. The crew was very friendly, efficient, and did a great job (see the pics). They had to demolish a sidewalk, do some leveling to slope the driveway (slightly) to the back corner for drainage, move a sprinkler head, removed a medium-sized holly, pour the concrete, and the job site was left clean when finished. A good experience and we are very happy with the finished product.
