Great Place! Before I took my puppy here, they let me tour the entire facility. This was very impressive. Although my visit was unannounced, you would think they had been cleaning up in preparation for me. the entire place was immaculate. Since then, I have taken my Cocker Spaniel Puppy there to get groomed a few times. Each time everyone there is so friendly and gives me a quick debriefing on how my puppy handled the bath and what extra treatments they gave her if any. After receiving the level of service that Ufuria provides, you would think that you would pay twice what they charge. It is a great deal. I really recommend Ufuria to any dog owner. read more

Took my dog for daycare assessment. After two hours one of the staff was calling me telling me I should pick up my dog already because he doesn't wanna play and that he failed the assessment. She said that my dog was not being aggressive but not in the mood to play so he failed. And I still paid $30 after that. Took him to The Pet Patrol at Corona after few days and he passed. I brought my pup here for a grooming and when I was picking her up I saw how rough their groomers are w/ the dogs. Had I known this beforehand I would never have left her in their care. They jerk them around and seem very impatient especially if your dog can't stand still for too long w/o getting anxious. My dog also had all these little cuts all over her from the razor and when I asked about them the cashier just said it was probably because she was moving around too much. I was literally on the verge of tears...I would never bring any of my pets here again. Places like these should think about the kind of employees they hire. It's no different than a child's daycare or an adult daycare center...nobody wants to leave their loved ones in the care of ppl who don't care or who may mistreat the ones they are being paid to care for. read more

Renee visited our kitty Buddha four times to check in on him, and I am especially pleased that she recorded a little diary each day of her time spent with Buddha. I couldn't stop smiling. Amazed I have to leave this review. I travel a fair bit for business, and I've boarded/groomed my dog MANY times at ufuria, each time they do a stellar job taking care of him and accommodating my needs. I called to book a stay + grooming for him for a trip at the end of the month. Being a rescue, my dog has separation anxiety and cannot stay in a crate, he needs one of their larger rooms. The woman who answered the phone told me that they had a room for the second and third night of my stay, but not the first. In the past, they've been able to call other clients and ask if they can switch their dog into a crate to accommodate mine, which is greatly appreciated but by no means expected, however this time the woman who I was speaking with told me "all of the clients for that first night are new clients, and I can't ask them to do anything like that." I fail to see why this is a factor. I understand customer acquisition is difficult and expensive, customer retention on the other hand is easy. Maintain a similar quality and service standard to what the customer has received, and they're yours for life. Teaching employees about this is key. Extremely disappointed at this point. I've always enjoyed the facilities and service Ufuria has to offer. It's a shame that one employee can sour that relationship. I didn't catch the employee's name, but called about 30 mins ago 7/12/18 ~9:30 AM. Hopefully the owner sees this and speaks with their team about the importance of maintaining customer relationships. If you love your pet and fear them not returning home safely to you, refrain from boarding your pet here. I cannot stress enough how much I despise this place for the simple fact that they gave me the wrong dog when I went to pick him up. They sent my dog home with the WRONG FAMILY! Scenario: 7/16/17 - Coming home from a river trip, my family decided to pick up our 1 yr old black lab one day early from Ufuria from what was supposed to be a 5 night stay. (We also had plans to hit the movies after he was home). I called 20 minutes in advance to inform Ufuria in hopes that he would be ready when we arrived at 3pm. After paying for his boarding/playtime, "HE" was brought out to me and was so wound up that "HE" was bolting for the front door, leaving me no time to look at him as I could barely contain him. It was obvious that they had just brought him out of the play area and he had not calmed down. NEVER once did I anticipate that this may not be my dog as this one looked almost identical to mine. "He" had on my dogs collar /leash, was male, black, and roughly the same size. Keep in mind that my dog is obedient trained and prong collar trained and I just assumed he was so excited to go home that I didn't pay too much attention to it. We spent close to $1,500 for this board-in training. MY dog is VERY well mannered. We took this terror home, washed him and brushed his teeth...again thinking this was our dog. He was playful enough, didn't really fight the bath but I knew "HE" wasn't too fond of the teeth brushing (This is new to my pup and I didn't think anything of it). When this dog barked, it sounded as though he had lost his voice. I just assumed "HE" was barking a ton while we were away. This dog peed with his leg up, mine does not. Our dog eats organic food and doesn't fart. This one cleared the room. This pup literally ripped our screen door off of the house and ripped it to pieces, all within the first hour we had him. He broke our back door handle and peed all over our outdoor furniture. He constantly barked at the back door and scratched the glass...NON-STOP! "He" was so hyper we gave him a sedative, which did nothing and we found out later his dose is three pills!!! We started him on antibiotics for Kennel Cough (these pills are not cheap!). This dog also had what I thought was a scratch on his nose. I later found out that these are birth marks. Within one hour of having this hyper dog, my family and I were one our way to the movies and I called Ufuria. Without accusing them of maltreatment, I questioned his behavior during his stay. This just WAS NOT MY DOG! I swore up and down to my husband that they had to have abused him in some way for him to act so irate and not his normal self. I was assured nothing had happened during his stay. He ate well, played well, listened and was overall a good boy. No notes were in the system and I was left to wonder what was wrong. The following day when I came home from work I went outside to play with the dog. It is now 7:15 pm and I have spent very little time with the dog thus far. I knew in my gut that this was not my dog. The last straw was his ears. MY dogs ears happen to be short and barely touch the corner of his eyes. THIS dogs ears covered his eyes with some to spare. I completely lost it. I ran inside, called my husband and screamed. I called Ufuria, even though they were closed, demanded that the owner call me ASAP. I wanted to know how many black labs were boarded with mine, if my dog was still there or where he was. Within 30 minutes of that call I was at the Upland pet hospital and scanning the dogs microchip. We found out the dogs name was Scully! NOT MY DOG! The owner called around 8:15pm, confirmed there were two identical labs that weekend and that my boy was now with another family, and laughed at the mistake. She explained later that her husband/co-owner took the collars off of all the dogs before playtime. SERIOUSLY? How brain dead do you have to be to take the collars off of two identical dogs, and put them in the same play area. Who knows how long they had been mixed up. Feeling helpless and beyond pissed I cussed this woman out, demanded my dog immediately, demanded she call the other owner, who didn't even call to complain or inquire. Why??? because he had a perfect dog and wanted to keep mine!! We were reunited with our dog Rocky by 9:15pm. The other owner had the nerve to say, "I knew this wasn't my dog because while walking him, he was so good and well-mannered and my dog is barely starting his training with me." This owner also was not upset at the situation, and I believe he was only making the switch because he was forced to. ASSHOLE! The outcome of damage to our home; Ufuria reimbursed us for the boarding, our screen door and our back door handle. The female owner complained to the screen company stating she could believe screen doors cost that much, and the screen guy replied to her, "I can't believe you gave them the WRONG DOG!" read more

Not to sure how to review since my dog and family are very unhappy. Dog is sick from boarding here. Not getting question answered about pet warranty I paid for when boarding her regarding if they are going to help with vet bills and medication since they said warranty covers sickness or injury under their care. Soo the owner isn't returning my calls. Staff left to handle her issues at facility instead of being a responsible owner and checking in on the dogs who got sick during the time frame of September 25-September 30. Staff doesn't have authority but yet was told i have to talk to her but can't get a return call from her yet so what the hell. Also influenza vaccine needs to be added to vaccines needed before day care or boarding. Plus a better line of communication with staff and owner getting back to dog owners who have sick dogs like myself. The right thing should be done. The owner of this establishment is not returning calls in an emergency. Why should I trust them again. She won't respond to other owners either. So for now I will give a poor rating because of owner not returning phone calls. I am worried about my dog and she doesn't have the respect to return a phone call. But she sure was willing to take my 330$ cash for boarding and a pet warranty that she doesn't seem to want to make good on. I am sorry but her own staff said that if they were the owners they would definitely be returning calls and don't understand why she is not calling me. Soo you are making us feel like you arent even going to try to keep us as customers which shows me that you simply just don't care. I will be willing to change review if owner would just RETURN OUR PHONE CALLS . Worried and disappointed and angry for lack of support from owner soo m/////. Finally got response from owner and she is going to cover Sadie's vet bills since I did pay for pet warranty And I appreciate that deeply . However I still am not sure if I will be returning as a customer. That I guess will determine Sadie's recovery. Also I was told she never received my messages from staff. I genuinely believe Soo does care and is responsible. I am not sure if this is the right fit for our family. I also can't completely fill comfortable either because of such a bad communication and staff not relaying messages. Sadie is still sick taking her back to look at rash today and dr listen to lungs to make sure she is on the road to recovery. Sadie is recovering and feeling blessed. Soo is taking care of Sadie and checking in on her and her recovery. Soo is making sure that communication with staff and owner are in place and that her customers are getting returned phone calls. Today we had a horrible experience. The groomer had no experience cutting Pomeranians. The tail has been completely destroyed. $53 dollars per FIRST NIGHT!!!! Be aware, you have to make flight reservation departing at night time, so, you have time to drop off the dog at 2PM and go to LAX. Otherwise, you are going to pay top dollars to board your pet. This price does NOT include the day care, just the kennel! When asked about the over price, they claimed they treated the dogs as if he were in a hotel. - I brought new toys for the dog to play and they were in the same package. - My worn t-shirt with my essence was exactly folded and packed as I gave it to them. - No reports on my dog were given, but he lost 1/2 lbs during his stay. and then, they claim to treat the dog as in a hotel, yeah, they CHARGE AS IN A HOTEL. It is clear the greater need for boarding business in the area. read more

She has been in pain all morning the day after and I ended up taking her to the veterinary which ended up costing me more. Overall, after the cut incident I doubt I will return. read more

I recently stumbled upon Ufuria before my annual vacation to the river and it was a total blessing. All of my close family and friends were going on the trip so I didn't have anyone who I trusted to take care of my beloved daughter Honey. She is a toy poodle and is my pampered pooch. From the moment I walked into Ufuria, I felt such a great vibe from all of the staff and fellow customers who were picking up or dropping off their loved ones. For anyone who loves their dog and considers them as a family member than this is the place for you! Honey is an "only child" and I was very reluctant to leave her anywhere unfamiliar and uncomfortable. The idea of leaving her in a kennel just freaked me out. Honey may be small but she still likes her space. After my tour of the facility, I did not hesitate to make reservations and booked a suite that was more than accomodating for her and it was all smiles from there on ;) I took the time to write this review to help anyone who experiences separation anxiety with their dog. I know how difficult and even stressful it can be when you are unfamiliar with boarding your pooch. My wife and I have been enjoying the services of Ufuria for several years. The Ufuria family has been amazing with our fostered dogs. From individual training to daycare to full on boarding, we have been very satisfied with the loving care shown to our pet family. The personalized attention that is provided to each of our pets is evident by the exicitement portrayed each time they return to daycare or boarding. While a few of our fostered dogs showed an initial shyness towards daycare, they quickly adapted and now rush to the door to see their daytime Ufuria buddies! Additionally, I am deeply encouraged with their involvement in various activities supporting pet adoptions/rescues, Fontana K9 units, food drives for those in need, United Fund and more. What more could you ask? Lastly, each time I enter Ufuria I am greeted with a smile and a "hello". As business owners, my wife and I are keenly aware of the need for great customer service. This review is for the daycare and grooming services. We've been taking our 2 year old Mini Schnauzer to Ufuria for about a year now. The staff at Ufuria are so caring and knowledgeable! Prior to being able to use their daycare service, your dog must be evaluated. I think this is a fantastic idea as it gives me peace of mind that my dog (and others!) will be safe and playing with dogs of the same temperament. After a day at daycare, Schooner is exhausted and is done for the night! She loves coming here and can't wait to go through the door. The facility is welcoming, bright and clean. They offer all kinds of treats and food in the store. For the grooming, I have discussed Schooner's dry skin issues with the staff, mostly Soo, who suggested that they try a different type of shampoo and conditioner on Schooner while grooming, to help with her itching/scratching. This suggestion has helped tremendously! She leaves Ufuria itchy free and she smells yummy thanks to the oatmeal treatment! The staff at Ufuria are all very well trained and are so very friendly and take the time to answer questions and get to know your dog. I also love how interactive they are with Facebook, seeing pictures of your dog playing and having a good time is wonderful! I highly recommend Ufuria! read more

I have been taking my puppy to Ufuria twice a week for half day daycare for the last 8 weeks and I cannot say enough great things about this place. The staff greets us by her name every tome we walk in (only took 2 weeks for them to remember her) they are all extremely friendly and I feel extremely comfortable leaving my "baby" in their hands. To my VERY pleasant surprise, they work on training with her while she is there (sit and down around the other dogs). She is a 5 month old husky and that means LOTS of energy. She gets so excited from the second we park the car to the minute they bring her back to play. I have been working on calm training with her and I told them that, sure has heck they help me with it and wait for her to settle before bringing her back. I also have introduced a new leash to stop excessive pulling. I told the staff that she doesn't like putting it on and to just clip her to her collar if she is being difficult for them. There response was to make positive associations with it and work on that with her there. I thought I was just signing my puppy up for play to get her energy out and buy they gave surpassed my expectations. We both look forward to continued great service and fun for Quinn! read more

Irwin and Soo are such animal lovers and this is evident throughout their facility, from the way they care for their clients pets(they treat them like their own), to how clean the boarding rooms are. This is truly a great place to bring your pet for all their needs. I have not met anyone more passionate about animals and their well being. You will not be disappointed. Instead you will be utterly amazed at the quality and care your animal will receive from their various services. On top of being a superb place for pets, I recently reached out to Ufuria for help with feeding homeless animals. I was volunteering with my church Sandals in Riverside and we were reaching out to the local homeless community. We were putting together homeless care packages for the homeless and their animals and were in need of some help in providing dog food. Irwin and Soo were quick to respond to our request and were very very generous in supplying us with a huge box of dog food which we have been distributing to the homeless and their pets locally and throughout southern california. I do not trust this place nor i will take him back again. Took our dog to Ufuria for play time, do not know what they did or what they gave him but upon picking him up he wasn't the same dog i dropped off he was a totally different dog. In the car on the way back home he wasn't his usual looking out the window moving back and forth He was just laying or sitting down panting excessively with drool and in his own world and very lethargic. Upon arrival he wasn't even able to get off the car was scared i literally had to pull his leash to get him out. As we were walking towards our back gate he seemed drunk leaning to one side and the other. Once inside he was extremely thirsty went straight to his water bowl and finished it! The rest of the evening he was just laying in his bed which is hard for me to make him stay in one place mind u this is a 80lbs 8 month hyper retriever full of energy i have. He was not the same dog. Thankfully he snapped out of it in few hours and whatever they gave him wore off. I've read bad reviews on here not believing them now i know i will never take my dog back here. after this how can you trust this business. I have no proof but trust me my dog was not himself after pickup i can only describe how he was after. Beware take your loved pet at your discretion as for us we will not be going back. read more

We have been taking our dog here for grooming for about a year now out of convenience because it is close to work. The lady who answers the phone to schedule an appointment is nice and easy to work with. The issue lies when you go into the store and talk to the employees in person. They are not very nice and look like they hate their jobs. When you call, they ask what you want to be done for grooming. Then when you get there, they ask you again and don't even do it!! My dog needs a short cut for summer and she looks exactly the same as when she went in. My husband, who is very nonconfrontational, said the lady taking payment was rude and made him uncomfortable so he didn't even want to say anything. We got the leash back and it has white dog hair stuck all over it (our dog is not white) like they just left it on the ground and didn't bother to clean it. Not worth the grooming for the price or experience. We are done... gave them enough tries to fix things. read more

I've boarded my 2 dogs (dachshund mixes) here several times and they love it each time!! They are always so happy when I pick them up and never bring home any bad habits (which they usually pick up from other dogs very quickly). Plus, with 5 days of boarding, they get a bath included on pick up day!
