    There is amazing staff that work here this was my first time ever leaving my dog Dixie we went to Kauai and we were very far way she was there for 8 days. I received great vibes from Katria (not sure if spelled correctly sorry ) she was wonderful and made us feel great by leaving out teacup yorkie Dixie there was other staff there as well that were. So nice I didn't get their name .. but overall great customer service . She let me know there is dog training so we added that to Dixie's stay and grooming and we bought the coupon book she let us know about . She is a great asset to Petsmart I also want to give Alanis a great compliment she was awesome she brought out Dixie and gave me the update on Dixie when I went to pick her up she explained everything to us and was able to apply our discount from the coupon book we bought .. she is a great asset to Petsmart also .. And she won my heart over when she asked me if she could say goodbye to Dixie Great people here and I will be back and already spread the great news about Petsmart Hotel

    Horrifying Experience - I'll Never Trust PetSmart Again On May 5, 2025, I took my dog Coco to PetSmart for grooming. When I returned to pick him up, groomer Anthony asked if I wanted Coco's sweater back on. I said no -- I always inspect him first. That's when I immediately noticed a fresh 1-inch wound on his belly. When I pointed it out, Anthony initially denied it happened there and even suggested Coco came in with the injury. Excuse me? That's not just unprofessional -- it's outrageous. I know my dog, and he was absolutely not injured before I dropped him off. I insisted they call a vet, and to their credit, they did. Coco was seen and treated, and while I wasn't charged for the vet visit (nor should I have been), that doesn't erase what happened or how it was handled. The lack of accountability from the groomer, the initial attempt to deflect blame, and the fact that my dog was injured in their care is enough for me to say: I will never return to this PetSmart location or any PetSmart again. Pet parents, please be cautious. Trust is everything when it comes to our animals, and they lost mine entirely.

    DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE I never leave bad reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I left my dog at this PetSmart hotel for a couple of days, and what I got back was a completely different dog traumatized, injured, and in pain. My dog has always been sweet, playful, and affectionate, but when I picked him up, he was barely responsive, just lying on the floor with teary eyes. Then I noticed his genitals were bloody and peeling. WTF actually happened to my dog while he was in there??? My dog is a house dog there is absolutely no excuse for this. The fact that he left this place in pain and distress makes my blood boil. This is beyond negligence; this is abuse. I will be contacting corporate and pursuing legal action because NO pet should ever go through this. If you love your pet, stay far away from this place.

    Updating from my last review that is a must to read before reading this. My poor Puffy's vocal cords are damaged. He struggles when he barks and it hurts me to hear it each time. Absolutely no response since my last post from Ontario, Ca Petsmart. Your animal will not be safe there because it will be infected and they will blame it on your dog instead of their Petsmart hotel services. All kinds of dogs will be there and even when you specifically say you do not want it to be around any other dogs, they still admitted afterwards that it was exposed to other dogs. And then they boast that they have a safe and clean environment. Tell that to my dog.

    CAUTION HELL FOR DOGS CAUTION HELL FOR DOGS STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY Upon picking up my puppy from a short 2 day stay I immediately noticed something was off not only was he dirty but very saddened and low energy that's when I realized things were not okay below our pictures of him prior to his stay at this filthy location and after picking him up , not only was he DIRTY but also showed signs of CLEAR ANIMAL ABUSE clear signs of his GENITALS BEING TAMPERED WITH , to FLINCHING AT ANY SOFT TOUCH I will be escalating this matter as far as I can and reaching out to various resources to get this place SHUT DOWN also reaching out to various ANIMAL ACTIVIST GROUPS THIS IS NOT THE END

    I want to start off by saying I'm not someone who typically leaves reviews--yet I find myself making many decisions based on what I see on Yelp. So I want to set the record straight here for this Petsmart pet hotel... My partner booked a shared room for our two corgis, Gatsby (almost 6 years old) and Daisy (1.5 years old), at the pet hotel for 7 nights. Upon reading the recent reviews, I had major, major dog mom anxiety about leaving my two angels in their hands. While on the way to drop them off, I strongly contemplated cancelling the reservation based on what I read in the other reviews. But then my partner reminded me that Gatsby stayed at this very pet hotel in December 2021. That was my first time spending any kind of extended time away from Gatsby, and I almost cried as Gatsby hesitantly walked into the back room after being strongly encouraged by the pet hotel employee. Five days later, I got my same Gatsby back, happy as could be. Fast forward about a year, we book him another stay at the pet hotel. This time, Gatsby happily trots right into the back room--no looking back at me-- just, see ya later mom I'm off to have a fun time at the pet hotel! Slightly calmed by the fact that Gatsby stayed at this very pet hotel before, seemingly had a great time, had no qualms in coming back, but actually seemed more excited for his stay, I kept the reservation (knowing however that I would cancel it if I saw any red flags/negative vibes at check in.) Any anxiety I had immediately dissipated upon check in when speaking to the associate at the front desk (I didn't get her name!). She was SO kind, knowledgeable, and left me not just feeling like Gatsby and Daisy would be loved and cared for while we were away, but KNOWING that they would be. Over the course of their stay, we received photo updates and also called for updates. Each time, we got detailed information on how both Gatsby and Daisy were eating, going potty, and how they were doing in group play. We were able to add additional snack kongs and bed time stories via phone, and even scheduled Daisy a grooming for pick up day. On pick up day, we got our two perfect angel corgis back--happy as could be! Daisy (a fluffy corgi) had a beautiful blow out and trim, fresh from the salon. In summary, I would certainly book this Petsmart pets hotel for Gatsby and Daisy again. I would recommend it. They were attentive and responsive, and most importantly, kept my babies healthy, happy, and safe. And while I am sad for those who did not have a similar experience, I want other pet parents to know that we had a very, very positive experience at the pet hotel, and will continue to trust them to keep our babies safe when we are away.

    Our beloved dog passed away suddenly at PetSmart hotel on Christmas while we were on vacation. The team at this location did everything they could to save him. Even taking their own car to an emergency clinic in chino to try and save him. A few days later we got this bouquet of flowers with a letter from their team. Our hearts are forever broken over the loss of our baby, but this gesture made it even more clear that they truly cared about our baby. We thank them for being there for our dog when he was in need and we couldn't be there. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    Did you know that NO ONE is in the Pet Hotel from 9pm to 5 am? That's 8 hours that we are paying for our pets to be alone & unsupervised.

They told us to just show up and that they would charge us extra to squeeze us in between appointments but that we would be seen sooner than this appointment time. We showed up around 2:30 PM or so. They put us in a room where we waited for 30+ minutes without hearing anything from anyone. When we went to the front to have an update on when we would be seen, this chick called STACY came out of nowhere and spoke to us with a really rude and disrespectful tone "THIS IS AN EMERGENCY CLINIC SO YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO WAIT". We know this is an emergency clinic, we do understand that they see patients in order of priority, but STILL, there is a way to say things and talk to people. We told her that we previously spoke on the phone with someone who told us to come over saying that we would be seen before 3:30 if we paid an extra fee or something. We were trying to figure out who we spoke with, to demystify the information we received VS the current situation. Every time we asked sweet STACY to help us figure out who we spoke with, she replied "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU SPOKE WITH" in her adorably rude tone! After asking a few times, she said "YOU SPOKE WITH ME". Yeah right...! "WHAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME?" Nah, we don't, otherwise you would have said it earlier when we asked 10 times ago! "I'LL GO TALK TO THE DOCTORS" She then storms in the back room where all the technicians and vets are and starts complaining about us out loud. These are paper thin walls sweet STACY. We heard all your BS. Talking trash about us because we want to know who we spoke with...? We have been misinformed over the phone and just wanted to clarify stuff and not be charged for an extra fee for the visit, that's all. Not one time were we disrespectful in the way we talked to her. She just snapped for no reason. Probably having a bad day...? When she came back in the room to tell us "IT'S GONNA BE 20 MINS WAIT", we told her the walls were paper thin and that we heard her complaining about us to what she replied "YOU'RE MORE THAN WELCOME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY". She then storms back there again and complains one more time to the technicians and vets. Why are you disturbing these poor people with your toxic attitude? Let them do their work and keep your negativity to yourself. We took our sweet kitty and went to the lobby to ask her for her name. "YOU WANT MY NAME? IT'S STACY. OH YOU'RE LEAVING? PERFECT" Who TF says this to people? Why take your toxic vibes out on us tho? Aren't people working with animals supposed to be compassionate, human and caring? She'd be better off working as a prison warden. If you love your animals, please stay away from this place. If she has that kind of attitude towards humans in the lobby, I don't wanna see how she treat animals in the back. STAY AWAY!

You can tell they truly love what they do, and it reflects in the positive, welcoming, and well-run environment they've created. Junior, the parent liaison, is equally phenomenal. He goes above and beyond to keep communication clear and reassuring, always making sure pet parents feel informed, comfortable, and confident leaving their dogs in their care. That kind of trust is everything, and he makes it effortless. And Leslie and Taylor, Crystal and so many I can't remember wow. They are the kind of staff members every dog (and dog parent!) dreams of. Their energy, patience, and genuine love for the dogs shine through in everything they do. They treat each pup like their own, and it shows in how happy, safe, and well cared for the dogs are. The entire team truly feels like a family, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my dog is in such loving, capable hands. Dogtopia has set the bar incredibly high--this team is simply the best. I'm beyond grateful for each and every one of them! Their attention to health and safety is outstanding--I especially appreciate their excellent distemper protocols. It's clear they take cleanliness and prevention seriously, which is so important to me as a dog owner. On top of that, their response times are incredibly fast and efficient. Drop-offs and pick-ups are always smooth, quick, and stress-free, which makes a huge difference on busy days. A special shoutout to Crystal, who is always so warm, pleasant, and welcoming--it truly makes every visit feel personal. And Mercedes has gone above and beyond for me and my dogs more than once. Her level of customer service is exceptional, and it really stands out. Overall, Dogtopia Upland has been an amazing experience.
