I had an iPhone 13 Pro Max sent in to get the back glass repaired. There were no issues with the phone whatsoever, other than the damaged back. After the service was completed, I asked Janine if they could clean the phone off because it had residue on it. When they took it back, I overheard them on the phone discussing a "big problem." It turns out my phone was damaged during the process and went into a boot loop, but I was never informed about it. Even after it was recovered, the boot loop issue persisted. I brought it back for additional repairs, but the problem persisted. After the fourth time bringing it in, my phone was sent to specialists who claimed there was nothing wrong with it and blamed faulty chargers for the issues. Another company later assessed my phone and found that the back was not properly sealed and was susceptible to water damage, and the charging port was fried. I am frustrated with UBreakIFix's poor repair job, the damage they caused to my phone, and the dishonesty throughout the entire process. They denied my request for a repair or refund. read more

They charge ridiculous prices, and when I came in with a discount code for 10% off he refused and only took $10 off a $350+ bill. When I came in to get my phone he came around the corner with it already on, unlocked, and in settings. Then went to the back out of site with my phone unlocked and open for 5 minutes where he can access passwords, banking info, and much more. I feel cheated, scammed, and my privacy has been violated. When i received the iPad it seemed to work well. Shortly after, l realized the home button was much harder to press than it was before and the touch screen did not work down the middle. Horrible and rude. Don't go to Nampa site by hospital I have used them several times and each time I have left with a sour taste in my mouth, but I am easy going so whatever I understand to a point. The time before this last time I went in for a repair I was treated like I was stupid and the man kept claiming policies and rules that I know aren't real as I talked to another person at another store about it after to verify. But again im easy going, I had previously repaired said phone through another place and they did a bad job so ubreaki fix said even when they fixed and changed literally everything on it that it wasn't covered by them, okay thats fine sure odd but sure. so got my phone back but the screen was acting glitchy and there was a rattle but it would still work I had just spent about 500 and was over it at that point so I let it be. Fast forward a few weeks and nothing works and I have to be in salt lake for chemo in a few days so I need it to work so I take it back today talk to the rude guy from last time and just ask hey could something be loose can you pop it open and just check. The lady with all the face piercings and colored hair comes out from the back and gets irritable and loud I ask her whys she's being so loud I was told she was a cheerleader and loud and to deal with it and now thats not exaggerated thats word for word what she said then she starts half yelling saying it wouldn't be covered it wasn't there issue and i was told that before, then re explained what I was already told like I was stupid all the while im trying to explain im not blaming anyone I understand about the warranty and the bad repair from the other place and I just was trying to see what I could do and was letting them know the back glass wasn't even sealed and there was a rattle etc. Another customer came in and she went to them thank goodness. I finished with the guy when I asked for her name he got attitude and when I mentioned the attitude and her being loud he matter of fact told me she could do whatever she wanted. I broke my screen on my old iPhone 7 Plus at the vet office and immediately rushed it to uBreakiFix after getting a quote online. I thought the $99.99 price was a bit high but was kind of expecting it to be. I was relieved they took walk ins and was expecting a 4 hour turnaround but they had it done in 2.5. During device pick up I was testing out the phone and we discovered an additional issue with the proximity sensor. I chose to wait around while they did some troubleshooting instead of going back home but the employees were very polite, considerate and accommodating. Unfortunately they had to order the part but luckily I could take my otherwise functioning phone home while I waited. I received communications that my part was in the following day and once I brought it back in they took care of the repair within a couple more hours. At no extra charge! I'm very pleased with the repair work and it's comforting to know they warranty their work just in case. Everyone I spoke with there was knowledgeable and wonderful. I highly recommend to others and I will probably return with some other devices in the future! read more

Originally went in for a broken glass screen on an ipad mini. Was called and told the screen couldn't be fixed without replacing the home button. I agreed to have a home button ordered and replaced for an additional cost. After waiting almost 2 weeks, the ipad was ready. The day after getting the ipad back, the home button became difficult to push down without extra pressure. This resulted in the lcd screen to become damaged causing lines up the middle of the screen. I was told there was a 90 day warranty so I took the ipad back. I was called another day being told they would not cover the screen because it was considered an accident but they could replace for a couple hundred bucks. So I paid extra for a part I didn't take it in for orginally and now have a damaged screen again. Will never go back or recommend. read more
