I'm so disappointed, and it's all I can say because I can't download the video I took in this store, he almost made me cry. Waited 90 Minutes "in line" to get help. They had 2 employees that were doing absolutely nothing but putting names on the waiting list - not sure why one of them couldn't be helping customers. All that wait to tell us they could help Is with home internet. We've been with Verizon for about 15 years, but haven't been in a store for about a decade - now I remember why we started going straight through Apple to buy our phones, their nonexistent customer service inside the store. I came back later and Chance, the store manager, helped us finalize the order. He went above and beyond because there were some hiccups while finalizing due to our addresses & recent move. Recently we moved to Idaho from California and switched from ATT to Verizon. My phone has worked perfectly except a minor hiccup at the beginning that a SIM card change fixed immediately, but my mom's has had a lot more issues. We've been to this particular location several times and have been helped by a few different people who have been helpful and explained things well about what was going on. One employee in particular is named Chance, if I'm remembering correctly. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and helped us change plans so we were on the same plan with no issues when previously we'd been told it would be better for us to be on different plans. Just really excellent customer service. Were it not for the general issues with the phones this would be a 5 star review, but those issues have nothing to do with the employees at this location or the service we received from them. It's just a ding against Verizon and the frustration we've had dealing with issues since switching to this carrier. read more

Worst experience I've ever had Iphone broke an needed to buy a new one, we go through the process an I proceed to pull out cash to pay the 1000$ for a new iphone, the verizon service person then decides to tell me that I can't pay in 20's because "he doesn't want to count it" an then proceeds to tell me that I can't buy a phone, later after a 15 minute altercation I get the manger who finally will sell me the phone. Unethical Business Practices This review is based on the location on Caldwell Blvd. in Nampa ID. We went in on March 23rd to purchase two i phones, a motorola phone, an apple watch and a hot spot with four new lines. The manager helped us and talked a good talk stating the motorola would be free and the iphones would be buy one get one 1/2 off due to promotions at the time. We paid $570 in the store to activate all devices. Our first bill came charging us a similar amount? No credits for the promotions, instead we are being billed full price for the three phones and to make matters worse he also assigned a phone number to the apple watch which we told him not to do. Total scammer. I called Verizon and they are currently working on resolving the situation. The woman was very helpful who is assisting me straightening ot this situation. read more

Went in there to try and switch over from sprint, was instantly told to wait out said off the bat, i asked how long to wait out there because it was cold and raining. He then replies that no one will be able to help us tonight. So why the hell do i have to stand outside and wait to not be helped? Instead of being rude and rushing us outside he could greeted us nicely and said they're busy and won't have time to get me helped out tonight. Verizon needs to teach this guy some good customer service or get rid of him. I'll never be going back to that location again! read more

I decided to switch from Flash Wireless's Sprint plan to a Verizon phone. It was a single line with 2G's data. I spent at least an hour waiting to helped. They greeted me at the door, which was nice, but after waiting an hour I was a little frustrated. Then I got my first bill and the rep who set me up put me on the wrong plan. My bill (with the new Note 7 and insurance ) should have been less than $100 but it was over $300. I went back in as soon as I got the bill I went in to the store again (after being put on hold for 45 minutes). My wait this time was only 25 minutes, but still longer than I wanted. I had to go in a third time to replace my Note 7. It took 1.5 hours to replace it. The store is clean and the people are nice, but expect to spent your entire day in the store if you open that door. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Went in to add a line of service and upgrade phones and to see what options they had. We were approached at the door instantly saying we must go outside. Mind you it is raining and windy out side. The store had other customers but all spaced out. The associate didn't even ask what we were there for just rushed us out the door and said there was no one that could help us. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never met a crew that could tell you that they could care less if they lose you as a customer as well as these people. We are a 20+ year customer of Verizon and needed to have a plan that was for seniors on a fixed income. The first guy we encountered told us the 3 plans they were promoting and nothing else. All were out of our budget. His response was "oh well". We then went to a competitor and got an offer for a great deal. Went back to Verizon and dealt with Brandon this time. His attitude was go ahead and go to the competitor, I could care less! WOW! Absolutely horrible customer service! We asked a young woman that worked there if Brandon was a manager. She said no. When we asked if there was a manager there to speak to, she hesitated on how to answer. My husband asked her yes or no, she finally answered no. We will never go back to that store again. read more

The lady at the front was not as friendly as you would think being the first person you talk to when walking into a store. She cut me off a few times while explaining my situation and had an attitude. Then when they didn't help, called the Verizon customer service number the guy couldn't find my account and was very rude. So happy I am no longer a Verizon customer!! read more

Great experience at this Verizon store. They were friendly and kind from the time we walked into the store. They got us a new phone in no time. They made a mistake and gave us the wrong storage capacity, we came back 5 minutes later and they replaced it for the correct capacity real quick and made sure we were taken care of. Horrible customer service! They let me waited more than two hours for two minutes answer! They refused to help me when I went there! I contacted first a female manager than a male manager. They argued for 10 minutes! They could help me instead of arguing with me but they did not! 2 hours later there was another manager who was tall and male. He told me after his customer he will help me but he helped 4 other people who came after me! Then finally another guy came to help me! I told him you guys did not help me and waiting here for two hours but at the same time you guys are helping 4 other people who came after me and they are not on the name list! They blamed me for being disrespectful at the same time the guy who came after I record our argument with this tall manager! But he was on their side because I told them he came after me and he is not on the list. The tall manager did not say anything to him while he was recording them, me, us! This guy yelled at them and he was angry at me because they were busy with me! This tall manager immediately said to him sorry and he went back to help him. When he was yelling at them he was not disrespectful but they blamed me for being disrespectful when I talked with them with a loud voice! Let me tell you why because I am not an American and I have an accent but other guys and other people were Americans! They answered my question in total in two minutes! I waited more than 2 hours for two minutes answer plus I faced up with horrible customer service by their three managers! Verizon customer service sucks!!! If you want to buy anything or upgrade or add a line they all jump to help you, but the moment you want to remove a line noone is available. They say call this 1-800 number and its real easy. My ass, first they give you a robot that makes you push a zillion numbers only to be put on hold for half an hour then when you get a human they say hmmm cant seem to figure it out, let me transfer you again to be put on hold for another 45 mins, WTF? verizon step up your game your becoming more like sprint every day, I just want a damn line removed how fuckin hard is that, you have no problem adding one. I've never walked into a Verizon store and expected to have a pleasant experience. My experience at this store was none different. Once the clerk I was working with found out I was already a customer he became indifferent..I watch his enthusiasm drain out as I told him my phone wasn't working and continuously shutting off. He told me that the verizon phone I have has been plagued with design flaws. Really? He said that to me as if I was the one who designed it. He did show me my options for resolution and none looked all that great so I opted to keep my crappy phone until my plan expires. I've been to tons of Verizon stores and this is one of the best. It's hard for me to say that considering Verizon tends to be the bane of my existence as of late. Anyways, I went in to get my phone replaced. The sales guy I worked with was very happy to order my new phone even have it shipped to a different address then on my bill with no problem. Absolutely the worst customer service I went in to do an upgrade earlier this week and they were going to charge me $180 that was watt to much. I did an online order this weekend and selected pick up in store. I was thinking that I would go in pay my $80 and walk out with my new phone. Wrong! They couldn't pull up my order even after I showed them my reciept, so to "help" me they canceled that order and created a new one that was going to charge me $125. So I still doing have my upgrade .... So frustrated. read more

I went to the Verizon store on Caldwell Blvd in Nampa to have them help me with what turned out to be a very simple solution. I barely got my foot in the door when a VERY RUDE young man treated me with disrespect. I understand they have rules to follow and so do we. Wearing masks these days is a suggestion in some businesses but NOT required. I looked for a sign on the door asking that we wear a mask. I didn't find one. I could have just accidently overlooked it. I would gladly have worn one If I knew. Meanwhile, this employee came charging through the door telling me I have to step outside and to wear a mask. It isn't WHAT he said, it was the WAY he said it. After he told me that, in a snotty attitude, I said I would have gladly gone and got my mask, but since his attitude stunk SOOOO much I was just going to leave and go to the Verizon Store on Garrity. They gave that employee tooooo much responsibility. He doesn't know how to talk respectful to his elders. He even looks like a "little boy" Maybe I am old fashioned, but no one should be spoken to like that EVER. read more

Trying to get a hold of customer service, waited more than 10 minutes on hold with no answer. The WORST customer service from any carrier I've seen! Elderly abuse, no assistance in trying to close the account....but of course they will be happy to take your payment over the phone, charge you $7 and transfer you to customer service where you wait and wait and wait until you hang up. If we could give this store 0 stars, we would have. Every time my family has gone into this particular store for help, the customer service has been AWFUL! We are not just talking one occurrence on one bad day, they have been consistently terrible at meeting our needs. Today my husband went in with my mother in law to look at new phones and switch his line to my account and they waited an hour to see a very cocky worker named Jose, which was a long wait but fine. My mother in law had to take a 30 second call to confirm she wanted to switch accounts and Jose went to the next person in line and started helping them!! My husband and Mom in law then waited another 45 minutes standing there awkwardly as he went through a long session with the next customer. When they were approached by the supervisor, instead of being understanding and apologetic began to talk down to my husband and Mom in law as if they were making up the story that Jose ditched them and took his time helping another customer. Only when Jose looked at our account and realized we all had multiple lines with them and had been loyal customers for years did he begin to be cordial and nice. 3 hours later they left the store and didn't even finish what they went in for.
