I entered the store in a less than positive mood. Having to go to the store 3 different times in one day is pretty frustrating as well because my claim couldn't be found the first time. Im saying all of this to say I'm satisfied with the service I received today. My phone was fixed in less than 2 hours. I feel as if the low ratings are people being surprised they need additional things done to their tech before it can even be serviced. The employee I was working with did his best and could only do so much. I have a bigger gripe with my insurance not informing me of the protocols before I went to the store. 1 piece of advice: Maybe get a second landline to help better fulfill claims-My phone couldn't make calls-They couldn't make calls. In fact the waste of money is what prompted the review to help others. The fact that this location can't find my last 3+ sales receipts is an indication of their service. Forgot to follow up on the fix. After being so rudely rejected/dismissed by uBreakiFix...I called a buddy of mind that knew a little something about computers. Since I felt there was nothing to lose, we opened up both consoles and found that the fix to one was a simple soldering of a wire that came loose from the battery compartment, and the other was replacement of the battery itself which we found on Amazon for $56. Lesson? It took us no more that 20 minutes to repair two consoles for less than $60 whereas uBreakiFix was charging $300 with no guarantees but refused to look at the units anyway. Moral? F these places. A little knowledge and soldiering skills goes a long way in repairing your own items at home. These places are scams. read more

I took my Galaxy 21 Ultra to these people to have a cracked glass replaced. They replaced it but caused some internal damage such that the phone could not read the SIM card, therefore, no Service. I reported this problem to Asurion, the parent company. They promised to deliver a replacement phone by Friday, November 26. Here it is Sunday, December 5 and, I still have no phone and not even a promise of a phone. This is the second horrible experience I have had with Asurion. The person working said that the manager (who wouldn't give me his name or get on the phone with me) said because I left the store, I must have broken it myself. The crack was on the inside of the glass and the only "proof" they had of the "perfect fix" was a blurry picture that showed nothing. AVOID THIS STORE! If I could do 0 stars I would! On 1/2/2021 I decided to take my daughter's iPhone 8 Plus to have the minor cracked screen repaired. I went online to make an appointment but none were available the quoted price was $109.99. I then called and was told that I could come in as a walk-in and my cost would be $119.99, I asked why the cost difference & was told that was the cost after tax. When I showed up at the store I was told $139.99 when I inquired about the once again increase I was told the pricing is dated. I finally agree to leave the phone for the repair. I got a text that evening that it was ready for pick up but it was just minutes before closing so I decided to go the following day. Upon picking up the phone the screen looked perfect but then I noticed an issue with using the home button. I informed the tech Shameek who took it to the back and then returned saying all was well. Once I got home my daughter attempted to make a call but to our surprise the incoming speaker was not working AT ALL! To top it off the home button kept malfunctioning still. So now here I am with a phone that only had ONE issue now having 2 NEW issues. I returned to the store where they worked on the phone for 2 hours. Finally the tech I'd been dealing with Shameek came from the back with another guy I'm guessing the supervisor who had an annoyed facial appearance as if I was a bother & just began keying something in. Shameek said sorry we couldn't fix it and handed me my phone back with the original cracked screen and a refund was processed. The issue though was now I couldn't get in my phone AT ALL! I attempted to call the corporate number and resolve my issue they led me to thinking I was due a comparable phone from them. After days of phone chase I got a email back saying the refund I was given was all they could offer! I am very disappointed in the service I was given. I looked around for a store I thought was established and stand up but my experience was everything but that. I would never recommend this place! Although Apple may charge top dollar I now understand the importance of having repairs strictly done by them as they can back their work or at least replace the item if they damage it beyond repair. I go to get it and he told me they could not get to it and come back anytime to have it taken care of. I go back "anytime" and was told that they can't take it since the insurance claim was canceled. So I told him I will call right now to re-enable it. He said ok. I go back and he said he doesn't see it and it can take 2 to 3 hours to get it. The main issue was lack of communication, they kept my phone for repairs for weeks with no communication and i was patient and didn't call often but when I would call, the man who answered was so rude that the people in the room with me who overheard my call were shocked. Service was fine until I went to pick up my phone for a simple screen fix on my husband's 6s. I was quoted 89.99 and I came to pick it up after an hour. I was told it was all fixed up and when I checked the front camera, it was very blurry. The man said he will check it and be back in a few minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting in the store with my two children, I called to the man to check on the status. I was told they are fixing the camera, that the camera was "bad" and it'll be a few more minutes. 15 min later, he comes out with the phone stating that they do not have the camera piece and will need to order it for tomorrow. When I asked what I have been waiting for over 30 minutes for, I was told they were searching for a working camera piece but did not have one. He then proceeded to tell me that he misquoted me the price, 89 was for a 6 and a 6s screen is actually 109. I had the original price in writing on my receipt and when I asked if it can still be honored, especially considering the over 1.5 hours of waiting and having to come back to fix their mistake, I was told he could only give me a 10% discount at most. So I came with a broken screen and a functional camera (he tested it when I dropped off the camera), and left paying more than I was quoted for a fixed screen and a busted camera. Now I have to go there a second day, so that's a second day my husband will be without his phone at work, so we are both incredibly inconvenienced and annoyed. My daughter had cracked her phone and battery had gone bad so we went to get it fixed. Off the bat the price was around $450 which is pretty reasonable for a screen and battery repair. The guy at the counter was saying that the screen for the iphone 12 pro max wasn't in stock and that they would call when the shipment gets in. We got no calls and decided to go in to check about two days later. The battery worked amazing but the screen on the other had would glitch frequently. On the first day of my daughers phone being fixed she kept complaining of a notification from settings saying "Your Iphone display is not a genuine Apple part" or something along the lines of that. Aside from the glitchiness the screen worked fine and did the job so we dismissed it. This morning (which is TWO DAYS after getting the phone "fixed) the phone screen completely shuts off and does not turn back on, my daughter has been in tears all morning.
