Horrible customer service and a waste of time and money I dropped off a laptop to have a screen repair and was given a lengthy wait period to get an estimate. After receiving a text to call back to confirm the estimate without a valid call back number I was told that the claim was denied because I called back the next day after having to search for a working number for this "business." Had a screen replacement done on an iPhone 11 back in August, also bought a new case which they put on. Yesterday when taking the case off, the screen came off with it. When I took it back with the receipt today, I was told it wasn't covered because that could have never happened that way, and because "the battery expanded" WTH? Never again will we use this place. Basically called me a liar. And as many know, it was not a cheap repair. $149 down the drain. Lesson learned: ALWAYS GET ACTUAL APPLE SUPPORT. read more

I dropped my precious Samsung Galaxy S9 during a bike ride and shattered the screen two weekends ago. Luckily during the month of May, Samsung is offering free screen repairs for healthcare workers (normally a $230+ value)! I called Samsung and they referred me to uBreakiFix (multiple locations but this was the closest open one during COVID to Center City). They use the actual Samsung replacement products which is critical for the quality of the repair, based on my prior screen repair experiences. They also can do same-day repairs and don't require your phone to be reset to factory defaults, a huge plus compared to mailing it in to Samsung! I called them in advance to set up an appointment for the weekend. There is a bus that brings you right near the store complex from 69th St transportation center. The actual store is pretty small and there's only like two employees that I saw, with no seating. They do have an outlet for customers to use which was helpful for my replacement phone to use in the meantime. I interacted with Chace and another employee (didn't get his name) and both were very nice and helpful. They fixed my phone in 2 hours and emailed me when it was done. It was an easy drop-off and pick up. The quality of the repair was excellent, and my phone screen is exactly how it was before the accident. 5/5 completely recommend! read more

It's hard to compare this to anywhere else because Apple is fairly expensive. BUT... after they got done my phone I constantly get notifications from my phone that they didn't use Apple glass. If you're paying cash, this place is very expensive! For what I paid, this new glass should be able to wash my car. They do a lot of contract work with Assurion and Assurion tells you you don't need an appointment but this location insists that you do. The other thing is my personal hang up. They don't unlock the door until exactly 10. It was pouring rain and people were waiting... 10 on the dot. On another occasion, they unlocked the door at 9:57 for the UPS guy, locked it at 9:58, and then re-opened to let customers in. Grow up. As for the company response... they should try calling their own 800 number. It pretty much sucks. read more

Have a Nintendo switch that has a damaged charging port. Checked them out online and the scheduling is quick and easy. Nintendo switch was a choice so I scheduled, however when I show up this morning after standing in line for 10 minutes, I get to the desk where the rep tells me they can't fix these issues as it involved soldering. Then why offer it as a choice on the website? So after wasting over an hour, I Took it to a local competitor who gladly took it and will have it repaired. I can't rate their work because I never got any done, but disappointed by A) web page and scheduling app leads you to believe they can do the work and B) how short and abrupt the employee was. had screen protector replaced on my z flip 3. less than 2 weeks later, it is pulling away from the screen. was told that within 2 weeks they would repair it for free, but they did not have anyone that could do it for 2 more weeks. since this would put the repair outside of the two week period, they would charge me. this is the third screen protector I have paid for. spent frustrating hour on phone to ubreakifix. read more

I'd give negative stars if possible. I brought my phone in for a new battery. 2 hours later I'm told it won't turn on anymore, with a shrug. They said they'd get me a replacement and pay for SIM swap charges ($24 each time with Metro). Meantime they gave me a busted phone as a loaner. 2 weeks later I go to pick up the replacement. They renegged on paying the SIM fees and expected me to pay for the battery replacement they failed at, wasting hours of my time and miles of driving. The supposed co-owner who made the original promises was a condescending liar, who tried to mansplain how it made sense that I pay for their mistake. Samsung reffered me to them. I plan to complain directly to them how utterly unprofessional this place is. I doubt they'll last long if the guy running the place thinks it's acceptable to treat customers like this. The only good thing I can say is the employees were super nice (and looked embarassed). I can only imagine what a miserable boss the guy I dealt with is, and wish them the best. read more

Excellent excellent excellent. I smashed my phone a fair bit while travelling and I have just found the time to fix it. I called the store this afternoon and they told me that I didn't necessarily need to make a web appointment, but I should hurry in. I couldn't get there for about 2 hours but it was 545 and they said they could just squeeze me in. The staff was professional and very knowledgeable. They did top notch work fixing my pixel 3a XL. I would recommend this location to anyone needing repair. I hope I don't have to come back but if I do I know exactly where I'm going. read more

Xbox needed HDMI fixed. After almost 1 MONTH of no news we called the store only for them to have us pick up the xbox again, because they couldn't "find" the HDMI part. Still have a broken xbox. This place wasted our time and were very unprofessional to not keep us updated. read more

Shop does not stand by its work. My initial experience with this location was quite good, as they are friendly and do fast repairs. However, the quality of their repairs is awful ... the screens they use for phone replacements are weak and will crack again under circumstances that absolutely should not cause a crack in the screen, like falling off of the couch onto a rug (with a screen protector on)! I would go somewhere else, or you'll be spending the same 150 dollars (which is higher than competitors' prices) again one week later. Absolutely ridiculous. I've had much better luck (and better price) with Phone Repair Plus on MacDade Boulevard. Or just bite the bullet and go to Apple for your repair. read more

I brought my laptop in with somewhat of an emergency being that my hard drive was full and couldn't figure out why and was unable to use Quickbooks.
