I came here last week (without an appointment) to get a mani/pedi for a wedding that I was in this past weekend. When I showed up, some other patrons were bringing in food and drinks for a party they were hosting that night. The manager told me that they had 30 min, but they could definitely fit me in. Two girls worked on me at the same time and got me out of there before party guests arrived. UB Nails overall is a great nail salon. Their prices are very competitive and most of the technicians do a great job. I have gotten four mani/pedi's there and been extremely happy with three of them. The last one I got was done very quickly and started to chip within the first week. I also get my eyebrows waxed there and they do a great job. The salon is very stylish, comfortable, and clean. The employees are very nice and provide great service. I do wish they offered the service of getting a manicure at the same time as a pedicure because I hate being there for 2 hours. UB Nails runs a great salon. It is clean, nicely decorated and all the techs are nice. They provide longer than usual leg massages with their regular pedi, hand massage with a mani and a back massage when you are done with either a mani/pedi. The prices are competitive and they usually run a special during the holiday season of purchasing a $100 GC/get $20 free. Wonderful. Good prices, especially in this area an on m/t/w for their maniple do special. For pedicures instea of individual chairs it's a big bench with individual foot tubs which I wasn't sure how I felt about at dirt but really was a great experience. This place has high quality spa services. I recommend the green tea mani and pedi. Unfortunately though, the technicians are NOT friendly. No greeting, no small talk, very short answers to questions. It wouldn't be a big deal but because this place is not cheap, I find it surprising. I wouldn't come here again based on the unfriendly service. read more

If i could rate it with -1, i would!!! I went there for no chip french manicure. Well the place looked nice and clean, but if u CAN'T DO something, just don't do it!!!! Every singel finger had a diffrent line size, and after using a dryer machine the polish shrinked and left lines, when i showed it to the girl she said, oh that's ok don't worry about it. What?!!! I don't understund how people with such a "skills" do nails!! I'm so mad!! I went there cs of good reviews i saw online. I'm Sure i could do a better manicure myself. My first and last time there. Was getting great pedicures until I had Sylvia do my pedicure. 1st she put me in a tub with only 1 sprayer working when working tubs were available. She did not work hard at trimming, scaling or anything regarding the pedicure. I am VERY dissatisfied. read more

Sadly, my more recent visits have not been as nice. Less professional service (my favorite nail tech moved to their new location). Also, the pedicure seating is uncomfortable. This bothers me, since most other places use massage chairs. read more

I Love UB Nails!! It is a comfortable, clean, friendly nail salon!! I have been to many places, and this place is by far the best!! The owners, Eko, and Puji are sooooo warm and friendly! Very accommodating. Nomi, Jenny, Gala are amazing!! But anyone who does your nails would be fantastic!! They give the best manicures, pedicures and back massages!!! I just came back from UB Spa Nails. It was a bad experience. I had a manicure and pedicure. The price was good, and my nails look fine. However, the pedicure did not include smoothing the heels of my feet. The massage was mediocre. My toe bled at some point from over trimming of nails. The worst part is the associate kept telling me to lift my foot and then she would shove it down, she even raised her voice. I finally told her to give me some kind of a signal because it was starting to get stressful and tiring. Not my idea of a relaxing experience. read more

I had been going exclusively to the Glenview salon for at least three yrs. I was a very loyal, polite customer & always tipped 20%. With the exception of two manicures, every manicure & pedicure was perfect, no matter which nail tech did it. It's very rare to find a salon like that. The place is always spotless & all the nail techs are friendly & attentive. Prices are reasonable. I stopped going to UB nails in Glenview a couple of months ago, though. I had an appointment for a manicure & pedicure. The nail tech was a man I had never seen them here. He was very rough & rude, even though I asked him several times to be a bit more gentle. The whole afternoon was so unpleasant & stressful that I finally asked the owner to please do my manicure, which she did. She told me to ask for a woman nail tech the next time I booked an appointment. I had already planned on doing so, of course. To my disappointment, she never reprimanded the male tech, nor did she have him apologize to me. Even more surprising, SHE did not apologize to me for his behavior. I believe I have been a very good customer, & so I expected an apology from her at the very least. I will not return. I now know that she does not value my business. read more
