They locked the doors nightly for a span of several days for a hurricane that never materialized...again, inconveniencing customers. The news reported, even before the storm hit the coast... considerably south of us...that central Virginia would not be impacted. This, IMO, was the postmaster's arbitrarily made personal choice...not a sound one. My mail has markedly ceased for the past 2 weeks with the exception of junk mail. First class mail is not being put in my box. I know this because my father sent a card that I have yet to receive. Fact. They can expect to have a formal complaint filed, shortly. Update: August now and I'm just receiving mail from my insurance provider...postmarked May.

Andy, a staff member, was yelling, discourteous, and unprofessional towards a customer. Unbeknownst to him, a USPS mediator was in line behind the lady and intervened without de-escalation in Andy's rude behavior. It is disheartening to witness anyone being treated poorly.
