And so for my last three weekends at Fort Lee, I paid separate visits to this post office to package my clothing home and ship it to Washington. On all three occasions, the result was success, although I did pay more than I would have liked to. This place is fairly small and seemingly always busy, yet the line appears to move at a rapid pace even without only two or so people staffed at the counter. There is a table in the back where you can set your box down as you assemble it. If you're lucky, maybe somebody before you has already purchased tape and left it on the table for you to use for free. Otherwise, you'd have to pay the $3.99 or whatever it is to buy a roll of tape that you'll probably only ever use once. Reo is a nice guy who works there; he says he's a former Marine and he asks customers the question "What's the difference between Army tanks and Marine tanks?" The answer is "Army tanks have backup lights," and it supposedly means that the Army tanks are retreating. I don't get it, but he's a cool dude who taught me that ballpoint pens are great for tearing apart tape. He also told me weird things like making the return address some location close to the shipping address so that it at least has a backup location to go to in case the package is shipped back and I'm already gone from Fort Lee. Overall, it's just your average post office on a military installation.

Also, as with most USPS locations, the facility is beyond outdated. Also, I witnessed employees physically reaching over the counter and selecting the Top rating when the screen is prompted to customers. Even after being refused a refund, I asked to speak with the lead employee, and that never happened. Avoid this specific location at ALL costs, as it is a trash location, and blatantly robbed me.

Sign COULD have stated that Saturday appointments were not supported, but did not. As we were in the process of scheduling for another Saturday, which the site allows, and yet the facility does NOT. Glad we waited around to inquire about the details. Huge waste of time (as you need to schedule 4 weeks in advance) and energy. Very poor communication skills.

Probably should have gotten one but I'd already been there long enough and there was already someone waiting behind me, so I said "No". She nodded towards the counter and said "Leave it there." RUN. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE…read more I'm laughing as I write that, but it's a maniacal laugh filled with horror. This is, hands down, the worst "professional" experience I have EVER encountered. The sales rep flat-out lied to me about the terms of the contract as well as the weekly minimum delivery. They never ever ever brought the right amount of linens - sometimes they would literally only bring me 3-4 when I was supposed to have over a hundred. But don't worry - they have 7 days to "fix it" - meaning on their next delivery date. But it's a "rolling" fix - meaning they never really have to bring you the right amount. But don't you dare consider only paying for what you actually get - I was contacted by someone who is being sued by this horrid company b/c she refused to pay for linens she didn't receive. Thinking of calling customer service? Think again. To "complain", you have to send a certified letter via USPS - but don't bother, it's not going to get you anywhere anyway. I cancelled my contract over a year before it ended and constantly reminded them as such to ensure I would not get stuck with them any longer. BUT - get this - the pandemic hit and I was legally not allowed to work as a massage therapist so they extended it!!! THEN - the day of freedom from this nightmare finally came and I thought I'd wiped my hands of them FORREVVERRRR BUT ALAS - months later, I'm getting yet another bill!!! Just run. Don't walk. Run away from the nightmare that is Virginia Linen.
