I went to this nail salon a few years ago and was not impressed. The staff was not very friendly. I heard there were new owners and decided to go back. OH. MY. GOSH. YOU. GUYS. I walked in around 5:30pm on a Friday to treat myself to a pedicure, and got seated right away. The technician I had was super friendly, and did a GREAT job massaging and scrubbing my achy feet. She did a fantastic job with the polish. After we were done I told her that I had two little boys at home, and this was rare "me" time. Since I had surprisingly gotten really into the cheesy made-for-tv movie on the big screen television, she said as long as they didn't need the chair that I could stay as long as I want. I stayed and used the massage chair for another half hour and finished watching the movie. They have made a new client into a regular client! The salon was clean and bright, and for $28 the pedicure was tops. I will definitely try to make this a more regular part of my self-care routine! read more

They do a good job if you are looking for reasonable prices and a clean place. I have to say that the staff was unusually friendly for this type of place too. My nails were pretty good but best of all, the chairs for the pedicures were so super great that they gave you butt massages!!!! read more

Not the worst but not the best. The staff is friendly enough and even cracked a few jokes. I went here Asa last resort because N and I needed a nail fix desperately and something must have been going on in town because everyone was booked solid. While I got a surprisingly good and long-lasting manicure I was concerned that the place doesn't seem to be as sparkling clean as I want a place doing anything that involves my skin. For a quick file and polish change I'd go back in a second but wouldn't ever risk a pedicure or manicure. read more

I don't live that close, but we were having a girls night out in Ann Arbor with my mom and daughter. We stumbled across this place and was pleasantly surprised. We weren't rushed (which was nice)! Long relaxing Shellac manicure and pedicure. A lot of polish choices for both regular and shellac. Offered to do design and even offered to stay late any night I called ahead. I was a loyal customer and was pretty satisfied with their work until I got a shellac manicure over the holidays that peeled within 10 days (my whole thumb nail polish peeled off!) while I was out of town. When I returned, it was day 12 and they refused to honor their 2 week, no chip guarantee. I was very upset because I regularly drove from Ypsilanti to Jackson Rd and paid the higher rate ($35) because of the guarantee. Suffice it to say, I have not been back! read more

Make sure you don't reschedule your appointments. I work two jobs 1 job I'm on call twice a month. I scheduled an appointment last tuesday at 10am but I got called into work so I rescheduled for this morning at 10am. Today my coworker was running late so I called to ask if they could push my appointment back to 11am. Mimi (The lady that answers the phone) told me that since I rescheduled twice she could no longer book me for an appointment. Unbelievable I've always made 10am appointments and showed up on time, always tipped the men (not the women because they always did a terrible job) that did my pedicures yet I still had to wait roughly 25 minutes just to get in a chair every time I went there. There sign says that they accept walk in's but if you Come in without An appointment they always tell you to come back within a few hours. They also randomly raised there prices on services if you get a pedicure with polish it's 29 dollars it used to be 26 and if you get your eyebrows waxed it's 10.00 it used to be 7.00 I wouldn't recommend you get your eyebrow's waxed there though they're not good at it anymore. read more

When there the other day to get a pedicure it was so gross. I was sitting there getting my toes dune and i watched them use the same stuff on another person with out sanitizing it. I wanted to get up and leave,also it was very dirty on the floor. Would not ever go back. read more

Employees decent. Some pay more attention to the customer than others. Never go as a walk-in! Everyone is an appointment. Sat one day for 3 hrs. Limited colors for nails. Clean & tidy work stations, always wearing gloves and putting utensils in the proper place after use. The facility owner or person in charge Tu is rude!! I have been a regular here for about 2 years. Tu, the manager, always did my gel nails expertly. However, she went on an extended vacation to her home country recently and has been gone for a couple of months. Since then I have had nothing but poor service and poor technique. Today was the final straw. I needed to have my old gel nails removed, and a new set applied. It was an absolute nightmare. I was passed amongst three or four different techs. None of them seemed to understand how to make the machine that they use to warm the acetone and use ultrasound to speed the removal process work properly. At one point I had to go behind the counter and plug it in properly. Then, the last tech suggested that she not remove the old set at all, but instead do something called and overlay. Since the old set was yellow, I wanted it removed completely and a new set applied. Apparently, she didn't want to take the time to remove the old set and became belligerent. After that it was all downhill with nasty comments and rude behavior. I have never not tipped a nail tech but today I gave her nothing. I will never go back there again. I would rate this zero Stars if I could. read more

I love US Nails. I have a regular girl that does them most of the time but if she is backed up or not working, I am always happy with whomever does them. I get gel nails with the polish that stays on forever, pedicures and eyebrows waxed and am always satisfied with all three services. It is clean, friendly, free beverages and plenty of televisions. I have recommended this salon to many friends and coworkers and most people continue to use them. read more

I've had my ups and downs here. Upside is some great-looking manicures and pedicures. Downside is that a man was working on my feet who clearly spoke no English and had to have the girl next to him translate repeatedly. When I started complaining that what he did hurt he looked at her for confirmation and then proceeded to work even harder on the same spot, drawing blood in the screech from me. I yanked my feet away from him looked at him and said "we are done now!". When he went to work on my nails I said leave them long and instead he cut them all off to assorted lengths and shapes. The cashier then asked if I wanted to leave a tip and I went off on her about him. Also this winter I had them paint my nails a nice winter blue and asked if they could put a white snowflake on my nails. She said she could do it freehand. My friends later asked me what the white blobs on my nails were and I told them I had crushed an elf with them. You couldn't even recognize what they were. Basically I would say as long as it's a woman working on your nails and make sure you let them know loud and clear if something hurts when they're doing a pedicure. No man or person that needs to have instructions translated will touch my hands or feet again. That being said the girls that speak clear English do beautiful work. read more

I have been to the Salon three times now and have had the deluxe manicure and pedicure on each occassion. I was very impressed with the overall quality of the workmanship and the service. Everyone is very polite and professional at the Salon and Kelly does a wonderful job with my nails. I have had shellac at other salons and my nails have broken, since going to US Nails for the first time ever I have really strong healthy nails Everyone is very helpful; the girls even go as far as to pick out colors for me to help me along when I am indecisive. They also have the best massage chairs! I will happily continue to give business to US Nails. They also have ample parking. read more
