Well, I planned for the likelihood of moving a few times before buying a new home (and I was right). I also wanted a location that was open at least 30 minutes past my clock-out time and close to my place of work so I could get a package did it require me going to the cashier window. Yeah, I thought about all that before choosing a Post Office. And here I am, still checking my box once a week for my mail. There is a great convenience to having the same mailing address though we have moved 5 times since being in the area. Though it sits at a busy intersection, it is a great midpoint for the Mall, Target, or downtown. The staff is always friendly (I wanted to make sure I mentioned that) and even other box holders are quick to say "good morning" or "hello". One day I will no longer need a box here, but for the time it is the ideal location for one. *Insider's Tip -It is the same amount whether you renew for six months or twelve months at a time. You never know what could happen so just do six months.

USPS failed to deliver an Amazon package that did not require a signature. I wasn't home so I…read moremissed the two attempts. Went over to the post office and no one, including the manager can find my package. I told the manager it was high dollar & if she can reach out. Waited few business days and heard nothing, so I went back they were still unable to find it. I was given the guidance to wait few more days and this time was given the managers number for me to reach out instead of going back. Not sure what's taking so long to coordinate with the delivery driver, but it's been a process extending almost 2 weeks.

I've had two different congressional appointments to discuss with United States Postal Service, and why I can't get my new built & purchased house address activated and delivered. I talked to Congressman Allen's aid she forwarded my complaint about times, ended up on the desk of a woman named Pamela (706) 562-1882 Who handles the Georgia congressional Complaints. She called me 4:30 PM on a Friday and we talked. She said she would do an investigation and get back with me and She called back 19 minutes later left a voicemail that I'd have to get the cluster mailbox or pay for a PO Box and I still couldn't get certain packages delivered the end! Well state past 12 years ago a stupid law that new divisions and subdivisions have to have a cluster mailbox. It makes sense that way the postman just goes to the box and deliver all the mail and the people come and pick it up it saves fuel But there should be exclusions in there because I'm one house one they have to drive by it every day to directions when they're delivering mail to other houses that were put in for the law, but this uneducated woman said no not once, but twice, even though I had all the evidence proving that the address was made available to her post office, three years prior to the law changed! So to activate my house address I have to spend out of pocket funds for the cluster mailbox they cost $2,700 on low end just outside of town the other 7 plots on my street are nature and for sale by owner & he isn't building any more houses It's not a neighborhood because the streets only connect from the highway one way in one way out. She tried to say that it was a subdivision, wrong again you have to have a Home Division before you could have a subdivision so her lack of education and experience is being shown once again! These are the uneducated people, United States Post Pffice likes to hire and that's why they're always in US Congressional Hearings making excuses for All the stupid rules and decisions they come up with. I literally think They get together for a group function and play a game of polish darts vs playing polish archery it's safer and that decides how they waste taxpayers dollars! This truly is just another leaching Government Agency for your annual taxes should be called "anal taxes for dealing with these assholes!" Are used to believe in being nice and respectful, but after dealing with this group of idiots out of Augusta, I'm retired and they don't deserve my respect they are ran by machine and operated by brainless minions and Peons and I can't tell you who the woman I talk to which one she is but I really won't be volunteer or gift any of my tax dollars, especially if she refuses too do the one thing the USPS Government Organization is Designed to do, deliver my mail!

I walked in with another person, we both had to drop off a package, all the employees saw me, saw what we had in our hands & without even hesitation she said "If your dropping off leave it over here". I stood around for a little bit to see how they interacted with customers, they LITERALLY ask customers what they need soon as anyone walks in. USPS YOU BETTER GIVE THEM A RAISE!!! That is top notch quality customer service! I asked where it is and what the new arrival is...he said he couldn't tell me. I tried to explain that the status changed to "in transit" the moment the post office accepted the package.
