After two days of chaos with them in our house packing and loading, the driver Rushed us that he finally walk through, wouldn't go out and check the sculpture area saying he already got all that. The delivery was a moving nightmare. The truck and driver showed up at 8:15 am, due at 8. By 8:45 No crew was there so he called and was told that the company they hired to move us in "forgot" to send the message hiring the crew. After 10 am 3 people who spoke NO English showed up: a small man complaining of arm pain all day, and two small women in their 20s who couldn't carry anything heavy. Nothing was put where it should have been as they couldn't read labels or get the tag numbers right. The driver told them to flip over our big expensive cherry dresser on the concrete porch but there was NO blanket or padding on that side so it has huge gouges. and the driver said he "Forgot" our sculpture. Many items were scratched, they broke 3 legs off a big upholstered chair and the move in crew broke the 4th leg. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! Hire anyone else!

Unacceptable. I had advised the company that previous moving companies needed two days for packing…read moreand unpacking each, and that furniture was sensitive and expensive. A&E movers rushed the packing in one day. They dumped the contents of all the drawers in each room into wardrobe sized boxes and then left it in a big pile at the destination. Shelving was ripped apart with force and cannot be reassembled. Expensive furniture was transported without any protection and damaged. Boxes were poorly labeled and ended up in the wrong place. After delivery, the new home was left looking like it had been ransacked by looters. The physical damage to property itself is costly and tedious to get reimbursed for: it takes hours just to document it, many more hours to find replacements or parts, and it may take months to get reimbursed (during which time you are not allowed to fix the item). But the worst part is the months it will take to get my life together again, and nothing will compensate me for that. Next time, I will go with a pod moving company again and hire packers by the hour. That way, they won't rush through the job, my belongings won't be crammed upside down into a tightly packed van by people who don't give a damn, and it will likely be cheaper as well.

They came a few weeks before the move and gave an estimate and looked at all that had to be moved . Around 6 pm Friday night the loaders realized they wouldn't be able to fit everything in the one truck ( moving out of state) we did not hear from any staff members until we called Monday afternoon about a solution to the rest of our load. The house was being turned over to realtor on Monday and we told them every needed to be out of house by then if that meant storing it. Needless to say 8 days later they finally got the rest of the stuff out of the house. Never updated with any information unless we called. Received final load 2 weeks later. I used this company a few years ago for a move and it went OK. The rate was good and they did a…read moredecent job although I asked their movers to mask because we are immune compromised and one of them removed her mask right in our faces while we were paying which I did not appreciate and was dangerous. This time the crew was 45 minutes late because they went to the wrong address during the first part of the move despite me being very clear, repeatedly, where to go. That was very inconvenient and my mom had to wait around in her car outside a storage unit while I kept having to message to ask what was going on and barely got a response. I received the final invoice and paid it immediately with a nice tip anyway. A couple days later I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying that I hadn't paid. I sent them a screenshot of the $0 invoice balance and the transaction on my credit card. It had the name of the owner and a transaction ID and their ZIP Code. They continued to message me every few days saying we didn't get your payment, you must've sent it to the wrong place, they even sent me another invoice like they expected me to pay again. I kept telling them to check in on their side and that I didn't know what else to do. I provided ample screenshots showing that I paid and they kept blaming me and trying to bill me again. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company which was painful because I'm disabled and making phone calls hurts me. I didn't know what else to do because this is not a small bill and the company wouldn't stop bothering me. Finally they made a call themselves and immediately sorted it out which they could've done in the first place and then they apologized to me and said yes you did pay right away it was an error on our end. This was a complete waste of time and completely unprofessional. It's not appropriate to harass a customer who paid, who has clear evidence of paying, instead of just doing your due diligence and trying to resolve the issue without making me feel doubted and blamed for days. I can't recommend this company and I'm very angry about the way I was treated. Harassed for something that wasn't my fault at all and that they could've resolved with one quick phone call on their end instead of bothering me when I had just moved and they know I'm disabled.
