When I started renting a storage unit in 2020 with Keith being the GM every thing was great. Since Keith left, and his replacement obviously left I ended losing my unit because of financial problems and it was auctioned off for $5 with another location sending me a bill for the additional $1400 owed WTF???????? If I had known it would be offered for $5 I could have sent someone there to buy it and save my stuff. It's been impossible to email or call and no one seems to be able to tell me anything. I am very upset that the so called "great" customer service went from a 10 to a minus 50!!!!!! read more

The wrong size truck to be picked up in the wrong city, and the wrong size storage facility also at the wrong location. All for twice the price that other moving and storage facilities offer. And to add insult to injury, they insisted after all of their mistakes that I paid an additional $4.50 for tolls, even though I have an Illinois toll collecting unit that I use for paying for tolls when I go through them. Honestly, after all of their mistakes you would've think they could've erased $4.50, but that is just how greedy this company is. read more

My daughter and i brought back a trailer she used bringing all her stuff from Virginia Beach, the person who helped us was very professional and he also followed the covid 19 guidelines. This place is on the top of my list for U Haul rental. read more

Decided to rent a u-haul because we couldn't find a dolly a couple hours before a move. we were picking up a tendem bike from my father in law. we were able to reserve a van one hour before our pick-up time. we also filled out all of the information ahead of time so the pick-up process was so quick and smooth. while there i mentioned that we originally wanted a pick-up truck but didn't see any available. the person checking us in knew there was one on the lot and was able to quickly change our reservation. we had the truck for about 6 hours and returned the car after hours. the text portal made the drop-off super easy and i like how our price automatically updated from per mile to per day because we drove a pretty far distance. we will also be automatically charged for tolls which makes things easy, but I should have brought my i-pass. overall a really great experience and will definitely be renting from them again in the future. read more

We rented a trailer here to move a family member. Juanita was so helpful and efficient getting our trailer rental done and helping us rent a small storage unit. This is a clean and well located Uhaul location. read more

Rented a truck to move a couch. We asked the gentleman when we were there if we should grab our iPass for tolls. He said, "you don't have to worry about it. Tolls will be charged to the credit card you put on file." He gave us our paperwork which included a chart so you fill up the truck EXACTLY to where it was when you picked up. Fast forward to returning the truck. We used the fill up chart and filled up MORE than the amount required. The guy at we returned it to said "sorry you didn't fill up enough. That's a charge". Fast forward another month. I'm notified we ran tolls and owe $67. What happened to the tolls being taken care of?!? I email with their customer service group to dispute the charges. We go back and forth in a few emails where I'm asking for clarification given what the employee told me. Eventually they just stop responding and charge my credit card. This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. I'll tell anyone who will listen not to use uhaul and certainly to avoid this location. Having rented many storage units before and mostly in California, this was a pleasant surprise! The facilities were clean and easily accessible. The manager actually helped us and was professional and courteous, walking us to our storage unit and explaining everything in detail. He even offered us the promotion that we were not aware of. Thank you read more

At the location in Bolingbrook IL we came to reserve a truck for a month away and they say all the big trucks are broken the place looks nice they have reasonable prices on the boxes but the people that work here are soooooo slow and don't look like they want to help you plus they have a negative attitude read more

I was told in have an hour and a half wait for a hitch installation. From the time I arrived for my appointment it was clear I was not a priority. They have a guy responsible for waiting on people that walk in and between customers he goes out to work on the hitch. I ended up hear for 3 hours and it was not because the hitch took a long time to put on. Perhaps this place should staff better. My time didn't matter to them at all. I would NOT recommend this place due to poor service. read more

if you have to go here its not bad they have lots of equipment. make sure you take picture of the truck gas when you get it and if it is not even near above full you go back you talk to manager. i got charged for 12 mile local move 15$ in gas for a 2020 chevy silverado. for a truck that makes 20 miles to the gas maybe on a good day... i paid you shit heads 15 dollars free money your so aggressive when i called you out read more

Nicest U-Haul I've ever seen and I have seen A LOT of U-Haul store fronts! The girls are really sweet and friendly. I had absolutely no trouble with my rentals and transaction. My move went smoothly and the truck was perfect and probably the cleanest U-Haul truck I've ever ridden in. I recommend! read more

Very clean facility, no bugs, no rats, no mice, no permanent residents of any kind. There's a really nice young guy name John who is great to work with, but I had a little trouble getting calls returned from the other employees. Prices are quite fair. A double-sized storage cube is about $119 per month, and they've always got trucks available. read more

Nice facility, worked with me to get a trailer hitched up quickly. No complaints

The manager is hard to get ahold of, and they tend to run you around a little to get anything done. But overall, this Uhaul is pretty good. Clean facilities, very flexible when it comes to payment problems. They are considerate of the fact that life throws us curve balls, and will work with you. the storage fees aren't the best rate in the area but you get what you pay for-after 9 months in the storage locker, my household items were still in the exact same condition they were when i put them in there. No damage from water or weather. As long as you can pay them on time (thus not incurring massive late fees) and can afford to pay a lot for storage, this is a nice, clean place to rent storage. read more

I rented at this place for over 1 year, but am sorry I did. They issue credit cards to alert their security system that you "checked in", well the security cards don't work. For almost 1.5 years I set the alarm off every time I entered the facility. The owner and manager tried several times to make my card work, but only on the last week I had left the card worked. The manager said I had an old card. This was aggravating because they never gave a new one after all the times I went in to get my card to work. Not to mention, don't do your final check out a day late, they will charge you another month! Not a very friendly group that works there. read more

Nick at this location was flawless! He made this process so seamless; especially being in a situation where i needed a truck last minute on a Saturday... Nick was very professional and realized I was in a rough spot trying to find a truck... Thank you Nick, hands down great customer service! read more

SO slow. They only have one person working who is also in charge of showing people where their storage units are. The employee was doing a great job and very friendly but they really need to have more staff! read more

OK, so overall my experience with them was BAD. I got charged on my debit card, came in the store a dad later gave them my credit card. They stated to me that it was taken off my debit card and placed on the cc. Well I check my account a few days later and it came off my debit account. I call and they tell me that it was not done and they had to recharge my cc. So I give them my cc information again, over the phone because I am in the Army and in CA at this point. They reverse the fee to my debit card but something told me to call my cc. Call them they tell me there is two transactions. One done a few days ago and one done today. I had to call Uhaul back get hung up on by a very rude lady name Denise have to call back and speak to a Jeff, made him stay on the line so I can call the cc company since they didnt beleive what I was telling them. The cc tells them yes there is 2 transactions on here so she cancels the one done today and he is still saying he doesnt know where the fee they have came from. All and all I am at a training for the Army and will not be back for 3 months I should not have to go back and forth with the Uhaul place about a fee on a debit and cc they overcharged me for. Please if you are going out of town make sure everything is squared away before you go. I would not deal with this place again. Jeff was very nice and worked with me Denise was RUDE and needs to take a class on GOOD customer service. read more
