I wanted to thank RentalMax for their help today with the rental of a trailer. After learning that the trailer we were going to pick up had been stolen, Jim went the extra mile to locate another trailer for us. This was very important to us as we were preparing for a parade on Sunday and needed the trailer to make our float happen. Thank you for making it easy on us and finding a trailer for us that did not involve us traveling to another location. Can I give 6 stars?  My son is doing his Eagle project at a therapeutic riding school (FTEA) in Wayne.  He needed a cement mixer to pour 10X footings for a 12'x30' run-in shed for the horses.  The guys at Rental Max gave us great advice on what the minimum requirement was for our needs and then upgraded the tow-behind mixer for us.  When we returned it, Rich Coursey gave us a VERY generous discount for our Boy Scout project and for the FTEA organization.  I've used this Rental Max several times over the years and they never disappoint! read more

We needed a branch grinder. What do you call those things? My dad came up for the summer and we took down a fence line of trees and branches. What a mess it looked in the beginning. Once all trees were down, we proceeded to find the machine to mulch up our debris. Started at Home Depot. Machine didnt work. Tried another location, same result. Finally called rental max. This is the place. Those guys were so helpful in showing us how to use the machine. Check out was easy. Returning this machine was so easy. Been doing Buisness with rental max st Charles since 2012 , with the recent Managment and staff changes customer service really has suffered. Poor follow through , really bad attitude from manager Matt and staff member Terri on multiple times . Jim assistant manger seems to be most skilled at handling their mess ups . I never write bad reviews never , but had to in this case . Very disappointing. read more

This place seems to run pretty well and they have a good selection of equipment. rented here a few times and never had a problem of any sort. equipment works, seems well maintained/clean and the people seem to have their stuff together. why not 5? For a service like this it's a bit early after 2-3 rentals to hand out the trophy, but so far it's been pretty much perfect. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to rent from these guys. read more

I've been coming here for many years. I typically only rent a Rototiller in the spring to till my garden, but I have rented a car trailer from them twice. I usually call and they will tell me the availability of what I'm looking to rent and hold it for me. They are always kind and courteous when I'm there. Fast too! I have never rented equipment from rental max, but have purchased 5 gallon bottles of water from them almost monthly for several years. Even though I now live in Rockford, my family still makes the trip (though less frequently) because of the service we receive there, not to mention the water tastes great and is relatively cheap read more

I've rented equipment from Rental Max quite often. The customer service from that store is awesome. I recently polished some concrete on one of my projects with their equipment.
