I am so grateful for the conservative dance studio and their teachers. My daughter started taking…read moredance when she was three and has benefited from their care and concern for her. She was shy and did not like change so we would sit out of class and watch until she was comfortable. She quickly adapted and became a vital part of the CofD company in her high school years and has gained genuine friendships with the other dancers; and I have enjoyed being part of the kind-and-down-to-earth dance moms. Teachers like Marco, Kelsey, Hillary, Sharon etc have challenged and guided my daughter into a beautiful dancer and person. Tasteful costumes and trendy styles and music were a plus. We CofD!

They crafted a personalized choreography that not only including elegant moves but also ensuring we felt comfortable and confident enough to do them ourselves. my husband and I wanted to avoid the typical bear hug and sway at all costs. We wanted to create a more memorable and exciting first dance not only for us but for our guests as well. Anastasiia and Kirill did just that. Our weekly lessons became a highlight of our wedding preparations. We looked forward to practicing at home and attending sessions. On our wedding day, our first dance was a testament to their expertise, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. Additionally, the skills we acquired enhanced other moments, such as the dip during our ceremony, making them truly special. Choosing Fred Astaire Dance Studios was one of the best decisions we made. The experience not only elevated our wedding but also introduced us to a shared activity we continue to enjoy. We wholeheartedly encourage other couples to take lessons before your wedding. So we tried it out it is even out of the way for us! There is another dance/gym place practically accross the street by me I could throw a rock at it. It has a warm homey feel to it, there is a changing room for the girl's and the dance room is enclosed. The parents can watch the dancers on the closed circuit tv in the front room. This is a + I think as there are no distractions for the kids. Other studios have glass on one wall so parents can watch, my kid would just look at me and not focus on the dancing. It is family owned and I feel very close w them, they take the time to know who you and your kids are as well. They like to see the progression of their teachings its heart warming! I have to say Mrs. Marianne is the best teacher she is very experianced and does so well with the wee ones, her energy is so high and you can tell she loves what she does! They have a recital once a year and they put alot into it. The owner is Carolyn and her daughter's teach some of the classes. I am not a religous person by all means but they are a Christian conservative family. Her daughter's were not comfortable at other studios where their costumes would show a little too much skin and the routines got somewhat provocative. They opened Purely Dance they have doubled their attendance in one year and I see them continuing to grow! They started offering an adult tap class on friday's which me and my younger sister are now taking by the way. Come join for a free class! The summer specals are going to be great!

Is dance dad a thing? 'cause if it is, it's not really something I go around advertising to people,…read morebut I guess you guys can keep my secret, right? Shhhh... As a freshly sprung adult all those years ago, I used to think, I wish there was a class for people called "don't look like an idiot on the dance floor". While I never did find and admittedly, I didn't really search for either, a class aimed at young adults who don't want to look like an idiot on the dance floor, I somehow fumbled my way through my 20s, had a child in my 30s who is now a budding primary schooler. I thought to myself, what are all the really important things in life that a man should know how to do and somehow "don't look like an idiot on the dance floor" came to mind -- so here I am. A middle aged man sitting in the waiting area of a dance studio while my grade schooler learns how to dance. Sure, he looks cool doing it, he's learning coordination, he's part of a team of kids doing something together, he's getting his energy out in a productive way, he's cart wheeling, front rolling, hand standing, back bending, stomping, popping, locking, pointing in a hip-hop-esq way but what is most important here is that when he becomes an adult, he'll be able to roll up to da club and show up all those other posers who only wish that they "didn't look like an idiot on the dance floor". No amount of best value for your money, conveniently located hip-hop, tumbling, tap, or ballet classes can even compare to the satisfaction he will have when he's in his 20s and ruling the roost. To my 21 year old son making bad decisions in life, I dedicate this review to you. Now please just let me get through these multiple days per week watching you fumble around on the dance floor trying to keep up with the kids next to you while you shake your tiny little groove thing!

I just can't with these people. The depths of their nastiness, incompetence & straight up dishonesty is really more than anyone can even comprehend, never mind try to endure. And don't forget that all of this began, because despite the teacher not even teaching my daughter's final class because she was out sick, like she was most out most of November, too, I might add, my 8 year old just couldn't cut it. This has swiftly turned into one of the most ridiculous & unpleasant experiences of my life. Don't even ask my child how she feels.... She is a third grader in 4th grade math, but she can't figure out how to sing a song & move her body parts in a directed manner. She's only been in dance & theater since preschool. We only left her last school because they changed her schedule, but this school would just never accept that we had experience, it just didn't fit their falsely perceived perceptions. But of course, none of this had anything to do with my child or her abilities, perceived or otherwise. This was all about someone's overrated ego. So petty & idiotic. The whole thing. Thank god I come from a family of lawyers. I'm not dealing with this dumpster fire anymore & I highly recommend that no one else makes the same mistake that I did. DO NOT enroll your child here.
