I have been a student here at Purely Dance for less than 6 months or so. And I really enjoy it. I am not your typical dancer. I am 30 yrs old, for one thing. But I LOVE dancing and everything about it! I am a dance enthusiast/hobbyist. Until I have my own baby to bring up in the dance world I will continue to take classes and educate myself on all things dance. (Well, even after, I am sure I'll take classes with them!) Dancing makes my heart happy. Now, as for the studio, they just relocated very close and are situated on 43rd ave and Bell Rd, in the same plaza as the 99 cent only store. The owner is Carolyn and her daughter is the one who teaches me jazz.I'm pretty shy and feel a little awkward being placed in a class with teens, but I just try my best. I'm actually more limber than they are and really give it my all and try my best at all the tricks/choregraphy. Most of the teen girls are so quiet themselves. But I am not there to socialize, I am there to learn, and its nice being in a room with people that share the same passion about the same thing as you. The studio has a decent sized waiting area, a front desk, a long hallway that leads to the students sitting area that has benches, a water dispenser, a bathroom, 2 dance rooms and cameras to watch your child on. They also have a small basket of "clean socks" in case you forget some. lol Current tuition rates are $40 for one lesson per week and $72 for 2 lessons a week. The rates are actually pretty reasonable and affordable. Like I said, Carolyn and her daughter are very polite and friendly and I almost pick up on a Christian vibe. I feel very comfortable here and would recommend you check it out if you have kids who have expressed an interest in dance training!!! read more

My daughters have been taking dance here for two years are are just beginning their third year. I love this studio! The instructors are very knowledgeable and do a great job teaching. They have high standards for dress and music...it is very family friendly! They even have a daddy daughter dance at the recital which was so delightful to watch! (Even though my husband wasn't able to dance with our daughters...maybe next year!) I also like the fact that I can watch the classes on the video feed in the waiting area. The front desk staff are also so friendly and helpful. One other thing I love about this studio is recital time. It is a low-stress time where, although the girls are encouraged to wear some makeup, full stage makeup is not required and they look so much more natural and beautiful. They do such a great job at the rehearsal and the recital is so fun to watch! Even my family commented on what a great recital it was, and they didn't know most of the dancers...so they weren't biased from that perspective. :) We are so glad we found Purely Dance! read more

Purely Dance has been a wonderful environment for my daughters. I really wanted to find a place where my girls could learn to enjoy dancing, without the strict militant atmosphere that many dance studios have toward their dancers. The friendships that my daughters have developed with their fellow dancers are truly special, as well as the bonds they have with all their dance instructors. It feels like family. One of the few studios that not only offers adult classes, but actually includes the adults in the events and recitals. Instructors are kind and patient, one of the things that drew me in immediately when I first joined is that they ALL commit your name to memory immediately and greet you by name when you enter the studio. Really adds to the family feel here. I recently moved to a nearby city and I still make the drive out to Purely Dance out of refusal to switch studios. read more

Purely dance is phenomenal! Staff and instructors are amazing and extremely friendly. Purely Dance is a family ran business. They offer ballet, jazz, contemporary, and pointe. I personally have had two children who have danced at Purely Dance and they both have enjoyed it. Currently my daughter does the ballet/jazz class. She looks forward to doing her class every week. With Covid we were so nervous to start dance, but with our daughters small class size and the cleanliness of the studio we knew this was the place for us.
