So we tried it out it is even out of the way for us! There is another dance/gym place practically accross the street by me I could throw a rock at it. It has a warm homey feel to it, there is a changing room for the girl's and the dance room is enclosed. The parents can watch the dancers on the closed circuit tv in the front room. This is a + I think as there are no distractions for the kids. Other studios have glass on one wall so parents can watch, my kid would just look at me and not focus on the dancing. It is family owned and I feel very close w them, they take the time to know who you and your kids are as well. They like to see the progression of their teachings its heart warming! I have to say Mrs. Marianne is the best teacher she is very experianced and does so well with the wee ones, her energy is so high and you can tell she loves what she does! They have a recital once a year and they put alot into it. The owner is Carolyn and her daughter's teach some of the classes. I am not a religous person by all means but they are a Christian conservative family. Her daughter's were not comfortable at other studios where their costumes would show a little too much skin and the routines got somewhat provocative. They opened Purely Dance they have doubled their attendance in one year and I see them continuing to grow! They started offering an adult tap class on friday's which me and my younger sister are now taking by the way. Come join for a free class! The summer specals are going to be great!

My daughter Sawyer is a very active/hyper little girl and Miss Amber has been the best with her! She is very patient and kind. My daughter loves going to dance each week and loves when she can perform on the big stage! This dance studio truly cares about their dancers. They are very affordable for families which is great! I've enjoyed watching my daughter dance here. It's a safe welcome space and you can tell all the children and adults enjoy it. I've been with other families who have been here for years. Most even make a far drive because this studio and its staff are truly special. I am getting ready to enroll my younger daughter in class and we will be here for years to come!

Is dance dad a thing? 'cause if it is, it's not really something I go around advertising to people,…read morebut I guess you guys can keep my secret, right? Shhhh... As a freshly sprung adult all those years ago, I used to think, I wish there was a class for people called "don't look like an idiot on the dance floor". While I never did find and admittedly, I didn't really search for either, a class aimed at young adults who don't want to look like an idiot on the dance floor, I somehow fumbled my way through my 20s, had a child in my 30s who is now a budding primary schooler. I thought to myself, what are all the really important things in life that a man should know how to do and somehow "don't look like an idiot on the dance floor" came to mind -- so here I am. A middle aged man sitting in the waiting area of a dance studio while my grade schooler learns how to dance. Sure, he looks cool doing it, he's learning coordination, he's part of a team of kids doing something together, he's getting his energy out in a productive way, he's cart wheeling, front rolling, hand standing, back bending, stomping, popping, locking, pointing in a hip-hop-esq way but what is most important here is that when he becomes an adult, he'll be able to roll up to da club and show up all those other posers who only wish that they "didn't look like an idiot on the dance floor". No amount of best value for your money, conveniently located hip-hop, tumbling, tap, or ballet classes can even compare to the satisfaction he will have when he's in his 20s and ruling the roost. To my 21 year old son making bad decisions in life, I dedicate this review to you. Now please just let me get through these multiple days per week watching you fumble around on the dance floor trying to keep up with the kids next to you while you shake your tiny little groove thing!

What was particularly concerning was how the situation was handled by the front office. The staff member appeared to identify me as the aggressor despite what I personally witnessed, and I felt that I was treated unfairly and unprofessionally throughout the situation. Unfortunately, the experience became even more concerning when my daughter was physically hurt twice within the same hour. I personally witnessed what happened, and I did not believe either incident was accidental. Despite this, the front office dismissed the incidents as "an accident," which was extremely upsetting as a parent. I also felt that I was treated differently because of my ethnicity. I cannot speak for the intentions of the staff, but the way I was treated left me feeling discriminated against and unwelcome. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with how both situations were handled. Given the prices and the way my daughter and I were treated, I would not personally return or recommend this establishment. I encourage others to carefully consider their experience and expectations before spending their hard-earned money here.

I just can't with these people. The depths of their nastiness, incompetence & straight up dishonesty is really more than anyone can even comprehend, never mind try to endure. And don't forget that all of this began, because despite the teacher not even teaching my daughter's final class because she was out sick, like she was most out most of November, too, I might add, my 8 year old just couldn't cut it. This has swiftly turned into one of the most ridiculous & unpleasant experiences of my life. Don't even ask my child how she feels.... She is a third grader in 4th grade math, but she can't figure out how to sing a song & move her body parts in a directed manner. She's only been in dance & theater since preschool. We only left her last school because they changed her schedule, but this school would just never accept that we had experience, it just didn't fit their falsely perceived perceptions. But of course, none of this had anything to do with my child or her abilities, perceived or otherwise. This was all about someone's overrated ego. So petty & idiotic. The whole thing. Thank god I come from a family of lawyers. I'm not dealing with this dumpster fire anymore & I highly recommend that no one else makes the same mistake that I did. DO NOT enroll your child here.

At his suggestion we sent him 2 songs we were considering and James Lee worked out a routine for our favorite one. For 3 nights a week, for 4 weeks, we met with James Lee and danced our buns off in his private studio, located in a residential neighborhood. He is extremely patient and walked us through the same routines over and over until we got it down. My husband is a mechanic and no one would ever mistake him as graceful, however James Lee took us from simple steps to a full, choreographed routine. Nothing over the top (major cheese factor!) but enough so we didnt look like two dummies out there on the dance floor. I tell everyone now if you are having relationship problems to consider formal dance lessons! It takes a lot of work to function together as a team and make it look like you are having fun, and the right dance instructor makes a big difference when it comes to mediation time :-) A++ highly recommend James Lee Makepeace @ U B Dancin.

I was recommended by a friend to try Fitness 1 due to the quality of equipment as well as the old school atmosphere. The communication with Chad prior to visiting was great. He welcomed me when I came in and showed me around the gym, explaining how it was laid out and where I can find certain pieces of equipment. This included equipment like the pendulum squat, which can't be found in most commercial gyms. He also showed me where much of the power lifting equipment was and even discussed the childcare. I spent the next 90 minutes using amazing equipment such as Rogue, Precor, and my personal favorite, Arsenal. The culture in the gym was great. Everyone was working towards their own personal goals, all while supporting and assisting each other. They were even being spotters for others in the gym who they did not know, but supported nevertheless. Other gymgoers were not playing on their phones or hanging out in the gym, showing they were all there for a reason. After a good 90 minute workout, I went back and spoke to Chad. I told him I wanted to get a membership, paying for an entire year up front. Chad was able to do all this without pressuring me at all, which seems to be uncommon in the gym world. He lets the gym and the culture the staff at Fitness 1 has created, along with others in the gym, sell the product. All of this came with no hidden fees, which is just icing on the cake.
