I stopped in and met Sara, one of the owners of Green Zone and learned more about their business. I contemplated trying to get into a class right then and there but it would have been rushed, so instead I signed up for their Saturday 8:30 class. First class is free for AZ residents, so that was a no brainer. The class was awesome... I did get a full body workout in 30 minutes and it flew by! Sara and her husband Ryan were super friendly and also hands-on throughout the class to make sure everyone had proper form. They limit the classes to 10 people, which is nice too... and they keep the facility super clean. I'm so glad I found this fabulous business... If I lived in the area, I'd definitely consider a membership as members not only take classes but get 24/7 access to the gym. The facility is clean and spacious with 16 indoor courts, some private rooms, a weight room, a retail area, some light snacks, water refill stations, etc... The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. It's a bit of a drive for us but if it were closer, we'd definitely play here more often!

Yesterday, I was truly impressed by the employee who was cleaning the men's locker room. He was putting detail into cleaning and really left the locker room very clean. My only criticism isn't the fault of the gym but the result of having a successful gym. It gets very busy in the afternoon so when time allows I just come in the morning. I've gone to different gyms in Phoenix and have always appreciated EOS. This is not my preferred location but it is the closest to my house. Dropping my 4th baby off was just as hard for me as my 1st baby! As a stay at home mom, and a homeschooling family, I am very picky about who watches my children. Walking into the gym only being 8 weeks postpartum, I was really nervous not only because it was my first gym experience, but mostly because I had a little bitty 8 week old newborn baby and I didn't want anyone to watch him other than me I let Kylah (the childcare manager) know that I was really nervous about dropping my newborn off. She was attentive and understanding with my initial concerns, but her sweet demeanor and confidence she displayed reassured me as she talked me through everything. I felt comfortable dropping them off and since then our family has been coming pretty consistently M-F since April, and now, they can't get rid of us! Other girls I can think off the top of my head that are also just so sweet with my kids are Amber, Alexis, Samantha, Christina, and I'm sure there's more. Kylah does not receive enough credit or recognition for her hard work. Her ability to manage the needs of multiple children while still giving individual attention is truly impressive. She treats them as her own. She listens to me and what I might want for my kids that day, she does her absolute best. I trust her and I appreciate how patient and attentive she is with children, no matter the situation. Despite this, I was instructed to complete another set. During that final set, I injured my back badly enough that I could not walk afterward. At no point was the exercise stopped, reduced, or modified when I reported pain. I still can't squat, my back isn't fully recovered. Afterward, communication was disappointing. When my husband and I later explained that we needed to pause training due to finances, we received no response. Regardless of certification or experience level, a trainer should prioritize client safety, listen when pain is reported, and communicate professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Update: After posting this review, the trainer contacted me and offered me money to take my review down. Since he can't contact me he reached out to my husband regarding my review. I am adding this update for transparency.
