She found some really good friends and learned a lot, but once she turned 5 it felt like there was a huge shift. My daughter got invited to supersparks, sort of like a pre-team class, and had to leave all her friends, which was hard. Right away the coach was not a fan of my kid, she does have adhd, but she was so harsh. She threatened to kick her out. I would watch this coach give all kinds of faces and yell at her. Still she persisted. Once summer came when she was 6 all the kids were talking about going into hot shots, the next level in competition track. My kid came back almost every day excited to move up with her friends. She would say her coach would tell her she'd have to work hard to get to hot shots. It wasn't until my husband confronted the teacher to ask what was happening for her to tell him that all the other girls were invited into hot shots, except for my daughter, because she's "immature", you know.....unlike any other 6 year old. She gave us the option to stay in supersparks but heavily encouraged her to go to level 2 recreational, the classes she doesn't teach. So like a fool I kept her in supersparks and watched my kid not able to be pushed because all the new kids are a year younger. There's obviously a lot of emotion in this, I just could not believe my daughter was basically left behind after being there for so long. How much money did I put into their pockets just to be pretty much abandoned. I went to a recommended gymnastics place from one of her school friends and had them evaluate her, ready for the recommendation for level 2 recreational. Nope, not even close. She's been invited for a trial on their team. There is a lot of prejudice here, if you are not in with the owner get ready for you and your kid to be lost in the crowd. Heavy heavy cliques with the adults. I just couldn't believe that three years of knowing my kids, coming in multiple times a week, we were just kicked to the curb. We're heartbroken. I do want to say Jodi and Robyn, thank you for loving on my kids. I'm sorry I didn't have it in me to say goodbye the last time. Thank you for encouraging any and all kids who are a little different and show so much potential. Your company has a lot to learn from you.

I have been taking my daughter here for almost 2 years now it is a great place. When they opened…read morethey offered a month free, how could I refuse right!?!/! So we tried it out it is even out of the way for us! There is another dance/gym place practically accross the street by me I could throw a rock at it. It has a warm homey feel to it, there is a changing room for the girl's and the dance room is enclosed. The parents can watch the dancers on the closed circuit tv in the front room. This is a + I think as there are no distractions for the kids. Other studios have glass on one wall so parents can watch, my kid would just look at me and not focus on the dancing. It is family owned and I feel very close w them, they take the time to know who you and your kids are as well. They like to see the progression of their teachings its heart warming! I have to say Mrs. Marianne is the best teacher she is very experianced and does so well with the wee ones, her energy is so high and you can tell she loves what she does! They have a recital once a year and they put alot into it. The owner is Carolyn and her daughter's teach some of the classes. I am not a religous person by all means but they are a Christian conservative family. Her daughter's were not comfortable at other studios where their costumes would show a little too much skin and the routines got somewhat provocative. They opened Purely Dance they have doubled their attendance in one year and I see them continuing to grow! They started offering an adult tap class on friday's which me and my younger sister are now taking by the way. Come join for a free class! The summer specals are going to be great!

My daughter loves going to dance each week and loves when she can perform on the big stage! This dance studio truly cares about their dancers. They are very affordable for families which is great! I've enjoyed watching my daughter dance here. It's a safe welcome space and you can tell all the children and adults enjoy it. I've been with other families who have been here for years. Most even make a far drive because this studio and its staff are truly special. I am getting ready to enroll my younger daughter in class and we will be here for years to come!

This was our first time at the location. I was impressed with the professionalism. I like to describe this place as "gritty" in a good way. The kids, the environment, the teachers...they all have a high level of work ethic and are serious about what they do but have a nice sense of fun balanced in their actions.
