So much support, laughter, and good vibes every time I walk in. My only complaint? That I can't quit my job and move in so I can dance all day. Fred Astaire has an amazing program and facility but for me it's the people that make it worth coming here.

From our first lesson to our wedding day, our instructors, Anastasiia and Kirill, guided us with professionalism and enthusiasm. We picked our chosen first dance song, and they expertly edited it to a suitable length for our dance. They crafted a personalized choreography that not only including elegant moves but also ensuring we felt comfortable and confident enough to do them ourselves. my husband and I wanted to avoid the typical bear hug and sway at all costs. We wanted to create a more memorable and exciting first dance not only for us but for our guests as well. Anastasiia and Kirill did just that. Our weekly lessons became a highlight of our wedding preparations. We looked forward to practicing at home and attending sessions. On our wedding day, our first dance was a testament to their expertise, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. Additionally, the skills we acquired enhanced other moments, such as the dip during our ceremony, making them truly special. Choosing Fred Astaire Dance Studios was one of the best decisions we made. The experience not only elevated our wedding but also introduced us to a shared activity we continue to enjoy. We wholeheartedly encourage other couples to take lessons before your wedding. It's an investment that truly pays off in the end!

My daughter really likes ballet and hasn't complained so I am torn to write this review but I don't think we will be coming back here. This is our third dance studio experience due to moving. The reasons for my review are this: First- the front desk lady is pretty rude... all the time. I don't think she is happy to be there. I think she manages it. Second- you cannot see or watch your child. You cannot watch them practice. I personally want to have eyes on her and watch her practice and she wants me to watch as well, it's exciting. This may be great for older children and adults to avoid distraction but I don't find it convenient for young kids. Third- mask mandate has been discontinued for some time and they enforce it. They enforce the kids and anyone in the lobby to wear one. Instead of asking nicely, it's more of a snarl "you need a mask to be in here, ugh!" Topped off with a glare and eye roll. Fourth- The lobby is small and I have always had to stand up waiting for her to be finished so I end up just sitting in my car.... not like I can watch her anyway. Fifth- the parking lot is extremely small it's very annoying. You will more than likely park on the main road. Not reason to stop coming here, but it's quite frustrating. Sixth- instead of telling me or teaching me how they want her hair to be done they scolded me in front of the entire lobby about how she needs to re do my daughters hair because the bun I had it in won't hold.... don't let your child come in with one of those donut bun thingies. I spent all that time putting her hair into a perfect freaking bun... how am I supposed to know if you don't tell me? Needless to say she was very annoyed. Maybe this is all routine for ballet but I have found it to be somewhat a toxic atmosphere so why would I want to come back? It isn't inviting at all. All of the teachers have been great with professional demeanor, smiles and always kind. Maybe they want to be super professional and this is why it's like this. I'm sure they'll come back and say "ballerinas need to be prim and proper and without distraction." So if that's what you're looking for then this may be the place for you. Be ready to park on the main road and have no where to sit. I just want to bring my little kiddo to a fun place to start learning technique. None of the other places have been like this. It's weird to see such a lack of friendly customer service. We will find a new ballet studio or a new activity.

Is dance dad a thing? 'cause if it is, it's not really something I go around advertising to people,…read morebut I guess you guys can keep my secret, right? Shhhh... As a freshly sprung adult all those years ago, I used to think, I wish there was a class for people called "don't look like an idiot on the dance floor". While I never did find and admittedly, I didn't really search for either, a class aimed at young adults who don't want to look like an idiot on the dance floor, I somehow fumbled my way through my 20s, had a child in my 30s who is now a budding primary schooler. I thought to myself, what are all the really important things in life that a man should know how to do and somehow "don't look like an idiot on the dance floor" came to mind -- so here I am. A middle aged man sitting in the waiting area of a dance studio while my grade schooler learns how to dance. Sure, he looks cool doing it, he's learning coordination, he's part of a team of kids doing something together, he's getting his energy out in a productive way, he's cart wheeling, front rolling, hand standing, back bending, stomping, popping, locking, pointing in a hip-hop-esq way but what is most important here is that when he becomes an adult, he'll be able to roll up to da club and show up all those other posers who only wish that they "didn't look like an idiot on the dance floor". No amount of best value for your money, conveniently located hip-hop, tumbling, tap, or ballet classes can even compare to the satisfaction he will have when he's in his 20s and ruling the roost. To my 21 year old son making bad decisions in life, I dedicate this review to you. Now please just let me get through these multiple days per week watching you fumble around on the dance floor trying to keep up with the kids next to you while you shake your tiny little groove thing!

I've been coming here to bring my son for breakdance classes for about two years now. When we started he was getting up and jumping around whenever he heard pop, hip hop, or rock music, so naturally I wanted to find a place for him to focus that energy into a skill that he will have for life and what a better social skill than dance! I searched and searched and the best I could find was a ballroom or ballet focused dance studio and then one day I ran into Catch Wrek while doing some online searching. I called them up and scheduled my appointment post haste! Miguel was so nice and friendly, explained how the class schedules work, how the monthly fees worked and invited us to come take a free class with them. My son was so excited during his first class and had so much fun we were in for sure. What I didn't quite realize at the time was that this school specialized in break dancing. I sort of thought I was putting him in to a choreography based hip hop dance class, but it turns out that this is much cooler and much more fun! Catch Wrek will take students of all ages and start them out in their beginners class. Depending on your level, classes will start at 4 or 6 pm. I really love how the school communicate through through an app for things like schedule changes and announcements, which makes it easy to get updates on classes and events. I'm super glad we found Catch Wrek, it's been almost two years of coming here and my son is doing head stands, back bends, kick outs and other dance moves at home just randomly throughout the day wherever we are. Right now the coach / owner Miguel (Gravity) is on Team USA and training for 2024 Olympics. How cool to have such a talented and skilled BBoy teaching your kid the art of breaking. Fun fact, Paris 2024 is the first time you'll see Breaking in the Olympics. Gravity brings his high energy personality to his studio. I've seen him wrangle up the most energetic of kids on his left and bring the most timid of kids out of their shell on his right - basically at the same time, this is such great place for your child to learn a unique and fun skill like break dancing!! :-)
