What a great location to host a kids dance party!!! I've ha d a few friends who come for the dance classes and have nothing but positive things to say about the programs, instructor(s) and studio. I was so impressed by everything and then our minds were blown as the instructor some how managed to spend 30 mins in the studio with more than 15 kids ranging from the age of 2 to 10 years. How she managed to get the kids (both boys and girls) to do a new dance routine was absolutely beyond words can describe. It was girls birthday party but the boys seemed to be into it just as much. The kids performed to several songs that all blended together nicely with their dance routine and it had us clapping and stomping our feet as they all did a good job. Talk about taking camp counseling to the next level... let me know when you find someone who can take that many kids in such a small amount of time and teach them a video worthy set of moves on the dance floor. Trying to find a way to get our kids back to Evolve on a regular despite the location being a bit out of our way, but if you can make it over definitely sign your kids up for a session as I'm pretty sure they will enjoy it!!! We really had high hopes for this dance studio. After a few months of dance class, we had to take our daughter out. At the end of each class, our child would cry that she did not want to come anymore. The instructor referred to my daughter as "girl" and not her name (although only a handful of girls in the class). The instructor did not take time to slow down and explain routines to her. Our daughter felt overwhelmed and confused. We enrolled in her another dance school in Gilbert and she is much happier and learning so much. Would definitely not recommend for your little girl/boy that is a beginner in dance. My dancer loves it here. Everyone is so welcoming. It's rare to find a small studio that produces professional dancers but still acts like a family. Highly recommend for any dancer who is looking to level up! And if you think it's too far, drive one time. It's worth it for what your dancer will gain. read more

I went to Evolve for a yoga class taught by a new instructor- Mary C. First of all Mary is awesome and if you want a good workout/ yoga flow, she is the instructor to take. Second, the yoga studio is beautiful- it's a very meditative space that is very calming and peaceful. I like that the prices are super affordable, especially when compared to the membership fees for some other studios. I also think it's cool that they offer adult dance classes too so you can try something new or indulge your inner child if you didn't get to do the dance classes you wanted to take when you were little. read more

I stopped in today to get information on the classes they offer and the girl who I spoke with was not helpful at all. I asked what a combo class was and she replied "they are highlighted in yellow and only up to the age 5", which didn't answer my question at all nor did she offer to explain what different classes they offer. There was no explaination of how their enrollment process is she just told me "you have the tuition paper" and that was it end of conversation. Therefore my first impression was not the best. read more

Absolutely amazing studio, all the staff is above amazing. I love each and every instructor! This studio is our home away from home as we are here 6 days a week and not once do I ever feel overwhelmed with it. I took my 10-year-old daughter to the Beginning Ballet dance class during the grand opening week and not only did she love the instructor and the class, she pretty much snatched the registration forms from my hands and filled them out herself (she was even awake and practicing what she learned at 7am the next morning!) The staff is very genuine and friendly and the facility is spacious and well equipped for the dance and fitness classes. Prices are reasonable for dance/ fitness in the Phoenix area and I hope I can take in a Yoga or Zumba class myself one day soon! Highly recommended, especially if you or your kids are looking for a great way to get in shape, have fun and deal with a quality establishment. Came for a dance lesson as a bachelorette weekend activity with a group of 11 women. We had SO MUCH fun. Our instructor was perfectly professional and graciously accommodating. The studio is very nice, but it was the session itself that helped make for a perfect weekend. The bride-to-be couldn't have been happier. read more

My daughter is on the unlimited plan for Evolve. She spends as much time here as she does at home. Mrs. Chez is her Dance mom. And she treats her as such..and I love the environment that chez provides...all the instructors are wonderful. My daughter caner from another studio where she didn't have a great experience. And evolve rekindled her love of dance. Absolutely the type of place we need in South Phoenix. I'd absolutely recommend this dance studio to everyone. read more

Great experience! I'm a newb to yoga and I found that this school had plenty of drop in class times. I came on a Saturday morning and it was nice and quiet. A plus is that the first week you come here it is free for any class! I love this concept because it gives the opportunity to check out what they have to offer without commiting your soul and wallet lol the class was very calming and the teacher was great! We love this studio! My daughter takes 4 classes here right now and loves all the teachers! Studio is very nice and professional looking and the owners are awesome and very knowledgable. You can try all the classes for free the first week to see which one is right for your child. The recitals are great and there are several students that are in competition as well! Great great dance school! There are also a bunch of adult fitness, Zumba and yoga classes (also free the first week). Can't go wrong with Evolve! read more

All 3 of my kids go here and they love it! My daughter is almost 2 and Ms.Kara does such a great job with her. At first I was a little worried because she was so young but she's been picking up the moves and having a lot of fun. I also have 2 boys 5 and 7 years old they are in all boys hip hop with Mr.Sweepy and LOVE it! They look forward to class every Friday and wish they had class with him everyday. read more

I started attending Evolve for Zumba classes after the South Mountain YMCA closed, and I couldn't be happier! The owner, Chezaray, actually hired my old Zumba instructor from the YMCA, and her classes quickly filled right up. Evolve is very affordable, the staff is friendly, and it feels like a safe, family environment. I'm also a former dancer, so I LOVE being around the dance studio atmosphere again. We have our daughter in two classes at Evolve and are so happy to find a wonderful dance studio so close to us. Ms. Chas, Melissa and the folks at Evolve are absolutely wonderful. They make you feel welcomed and are very professional and attentive. Our daughter's confidence and fitness has drastically improved because at Evolve, they use every minute very well. After class, our daughter comes out smiling and full of energy and inspiration. She does not need to be told to practice in between classes - just stretches and perfects moves throughout the day, anywhere, anyplace. This means that the care, time, curriculum and expertise of these instructors is exceptionally well. The studio is in "brand new" condition and is always spotless. They have a place for parents to sit in various locations (rare at dance studios, and with awesome magazine choices, free wifi) and an area for kids to do homework complete with tables, chairs and books. The studio offers adult fitness classes as well, including a retail area to buy things you need. The prices are a bit lower than market so we were pretty impressed with that convenience. This is my daughters second semester at evolve and we love it. Ms Chez is so patient and caring with all the little girls my daughter absolutely adores her. We plan on keeping our daughter here and even signed up for the father/ daughter dance at the next recital. They also offer adult and workout/ yoga/Zumba classes I am thinking about trying :) read more
