I was so impressed by everything and then our minds were blown as the instructor some how managed to spend 30 mins in the studio with more than 15 kids ranging from the age of 2 to 10 years. How she managed to get the kids (both boys and girls) to do a new dance routine was absolutely beyond words can describe. It was girls birthday party but the boys seemed to be into it just as much. The kids performed to several songs that all blended together nicely with their dance routine and it had us clapping and stomping our feet as they all did a good job. Talk about taking camp counseling to the next level... let me know when you find someone who can take that many kids in such a small amount of time and teach them a video worthy set of moves on the dance floor. Trying to find a way to get our kids back to Evolve on a regular despite the location being a bit out of our way, but if you can make it over definitely sign your kids up for a session as I'm pretty sure they will enjoy it!!! Several other studio rooms that don't appear as big as the main one but it's great. A dance studio with the ability to do so many things that lend to the people. Mrs. Chez, KUDOS!!!

At the end of each class, our child would cry that she did not want to come anymore. The instructor referred to my daughter as "girl" and not her name (although only a handful of girls in the class). The instructor did not take time to slow down and explain routines to her. Our daughter felt overwhelmed and confused. We enrolled in her another dance school in Gilbert and she is much happier and learning so much. Would definitely not recommend for your little girl/boy that is a beginner in dance. We did not leave with the best impression.

Yes, they do introduce you to package options, but when it was presented to me, it honestly felt like a no-brainer because of how much I was already enjoying it. As someone who typically avoids dancing and being the center of attention, I was surprised at how much happier I felt leaving than when I walked in. I ended up signing up for a package without hesitation. The instructors are so supportive, and I really appreciate that they rotate partners so both leaders and followers can receive tips, tricks, and different perspectives, it truly enhances the whole experience. When we came back for our second lesson, they remembered little details about us that we had only briefly mentioned before. That level of attentiveness made me feel genuinely seen and valued. I've always been more of a karaoke person than a dancer, but having the chance to connect with my partner in this way and actually have an amazing time doing it, has been such a gift. The owner of the dance school creatively arranged zoom dance classes during the coronavirus stay at home time period to keep the dancers current on their material with their dance teachers. The owner of the studio also did a very fun treat for all of her students to show that she cared and she made ballerina cookies for the girls to do a drive by and pick them up. Since things opened back up, the studio enforces all precautionary measures to make you feel comfortable including taking temperatures with thermometers at the door, social distancing tape and sanitizer. My daughter came to PDC after just three years experience at another studio. I didn't understand…read morehow important it would be that this studio is a cooperative. What that means is that instead of becoming profit their money is spent hiring the BEST instructors! My daughter's technique has improved by leaps and bounds - no pun intended. They focus on safety, which is important since she is on pointe now. She continually improves and strives to be the best dancer she can be. The choreographers are so fabulous, expecting a lot from them while still setting attainable goals for the students. Perfect mix of high expectations and supportive feedback. One thing I didn't expect was that she would fall so much in love with this studio that she asked to go from 3 classes to 11 classes. I wasn't sure she would be able to keep up with school work since she is in advanced classes so I told her sure but if your grades slip you are going to have to drop some classes. She has maintained a 95% or better in all classes despite dancing from 4 - 8:30 four nights per week. She loves the studio and the kids are like family. Any studio that can make you strong, healthy, keep phones out of her hands and inspire her to keep her grades as high as possible is the type of studio I want to be part of. You get plenty of time at the award podium too but it is about so much more for these nationally recognized choreographers!
