I've been here 4 times now and have had a different eyebrow lady each time. The first time I came here, I loved how my eyebrows turned out. I can't remember the lady who did them, but it was only $10, speedy, and left me with nicely manicured eyebrows. Each time after that, I've left with my eyebrows looking more busted than when I came in. Today is my last time coming here. The lady who did my brows was nice, but sooooo slow. It took about 20 minutes to get my brows threaded (20 min!! Isn't this only a 5 minute thing?). Because she was so slow, it was more painful--feeling each hair being pulled out. I left with 2 scabs on my eyelids from where she broke skin. The overall look was so uneven. She could tell I did not look pleased, but I was hesitant to ask her to fix them because I'm sure she'd continue threading until my eyebrows were evenly non-existent. The arch on both brows differed from each other, but more than that, the top part of my brows weren't fluid. There were peaks and valleys where there shouldn't be. It was just a bad, bad brow job. So bad that two younger girls came in as I was paying, took one look at me and walked out and I could hear them saying "that's just bad, bro". Teenage girls are judgmental, but they know their brows. Also, the parking lot is so awkward and difficult to back out of so it's not a very convenient spot for a business. read more

I've been here twice, each time I called ahead and let them know I was coming since yelp says they are an "appointment only" establishment. They could fit me in within minutes each time. The ladies have been gentle, precise, accommodating, and super nice. They say your eyebrows are sisters, not twins. But mine don't even look related, they are so different! Got my eyebrows done here for the first time today and found myself saying "Uh, what??" to my reflection! I was so amazed how great my brows looked I could not believe it! I have been hopping from threading spots, having to regrow them months in between because some other place would make them too thin and/or uneven. I live in the Burke area and drove 30 min to see what these great reviews were about.. let's just say I am willing to drive this far every time to see Bindu from now on! She could tell I haven't done my brows in awhile and made sure to make the months of growing my bushy brows well worth it! She kept them thick and they came out the most even I have ever seen them! Great service, great price, very pleased with the results. I hadn't had my brows done in over 2 months and I walked out looking like a new woman. The girl, who I assume is Spriya, was very friendly, took her time, and was as gentle as possible. There is a certain level of discomfort to be expected with eyebrow threading but this was the least painful threading I've ever had. She was very meticulous, changing her thread multiple times (never had a girl change thread in the middle which shows the lackluster threading I must've been getting all these years), made adjustments were needed (my eyebrows are sisters, not twins), offered lotion when she was done, and advised me when I should come back for another threading. I saw Spriya today as a walk in, and she did such a clean job. She said as maintenance, you should go every 3-4 weeks, and they are so reasonably priced. She did the best job, and has great attention to detail. She trimmed some eyebrows that wouldn't sit right to make them look good. I will be returning again. My review is in response to my experience, irrespective of the positive experiences that initially compelled me to come here. I have had my eyebrows done by Bindu and Spriya. Both left cuts on my skin and gaps in my eyebrows (yes, a witness is available and photos)...both are issues that I have not had. No apology was offered for both of them being egregiously late (30 mins to 1 hr each time). I was waiting in front of the store for 30 mins for it to open at the time it was stated to open. Spriya arrived, saw me waiting there, took a few minutes to make out with her boyfriend and offered NO apology or even acknowledgement of her disrespect. Bindu arrived one hour late. She offered no apology and instead proceeded to insult me saying that my eyebrows took a long time in front of other customers. Isn't eyebrow artistry your profession? I was further insulted for requesting a peaceful recompense and after continuing to politely explain the impact on my day and the unsatisfactory results, I was thrown a insincere apology to get me to shutup. Bindu and Spriya, you have shown no value for my time or my money. You lose 4 customers today. read more
