I was referred to this place after complimenting a coworkers beautiful brows. They've always done fabulous work, better than expected. I didn't even look this time. That's how much I trusted them. Some girl did the sloppiest work. My brows are not symmetrical in any way, and she left gel on ONE BROW. This is worse than being consistently bad. Raising expectations and failing to meet them, when I have an important meeting in hours, unforgivable. If you recognize the person inside, they're good. If some stranger is there, you're playing eyebrow roulette. This cannot even be repaired. I'm just screwed. And I trusted them. read more

Lady literally shortened the length of one of eyebrows and then made a whole in it as well. I'm literally on my way to Ulta to get an eyebrow pencil to fix my eyebrows. I've come here 4 times and this was the worst service ever! Now I get to wait for eyebrow to grow back. Terrible service! read more

Went in for an eyebrow threading, and came out with perfectly shaped brows! Usually when I have gone to other places, it tends to hurt a lot more but I did not experience that here! I was basically in and out within 10 minutes. The person that helped me was very nice too! However, I do wish there was some music playing in the background, would've made the experience even better. read more

I have been driving from Alexandria to Eyebrow Design Center for years and unfortunately, I don't think I will be going back after my experience yesterday. This studio seems to have very high turnover and I wasn't surprised to walk in and see all new faces. However, I was surprised when I walked out with half of my left eye missing. The woman who did my eyebrows was clearly new as she was having difficulty holding the thread. I later found out she was in "training." Someone more experienced should have been watching her while she was working - maybe that would have saved my eyebrow. Very, very disappointing. On top of that, their costs steadily keep rising (which I didn't mind paying when they did a good job). All together, it is a no for me. I'm going to let my browns grow back (hopefully they do), and find a new spot. read more

Good not amazing. This place is fast and affordable. Most of the time their technique is great and I like the way they thread. Every once in a while someone new is working and they're a bit too rough. Normally there is only one person working but they go fast. I would replace the couch though because it's visibly dirty and when there is a wait I don't feel comfortable sitting on it. The space is decently clean and tidy but not the nicest which is a reason for the lower rating. It's also really hot in there in the summer so I would suggest a fan or something small just to circulate the air if there is no ac. read more

I had eyebrow tinting and waxing done. The tinting looked no different from when I came in. This was not my experience when I went to Aveda so I will return there. The waxing was done poorly - I had to trim my own brows and tweeze stray hairs when I got home. I don't recommend this shop. read more

I have gone here for at least 1-2 years for eyebrow threading and they typically do a great job. And I have even left a great Google review. However, when I went in October, the person working seemed like they were in a rush, did not wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to working on my eyebrows. It's not the first time I've seen a lack of using sanitizer before working on my eyebrows after finishing with another customer. She was also working on eyebrow tinting with someone else while working on me, and grabbed a thread from the bunches of used threads hanging on her to use on me. Either way, it wasn't a comfortable, sanitary feeling. Again, no problems with the actual threading work itself. But it just didn't feel sanitary/professional. I most likely won't be coming back. read more

This used to be my spot but yikes- stay away. Last visit I had uneven eyebrows and today after asking for just a "clean up," but to keep shape and length I leave w so many stray hairs above eyebrows and at ends. I asked for a fix to clean specifically the additional hair remaining above my eyebrows and honestly she made it worse, and acted confused about what "clean" eyebrows should look like. read more

TL;DR: Cheap, good, painless Came here with an appointment, but didn't seem like I really needed one. This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded, and she gave me direction as needed to hold my skin taut. I was told my friends that threading hurts a little more than waxing, but I thought it wasn't bad at all. I will say, she threaded my eyebrows a little thinner than I would have liked. If you have something specific you want or don't want them to do, I suggest being very vocal, or else they will just do what they think is best. Eyebrow threading is only $10, and takes 3-6 minutes tops. read more

Is there a reason the store is only staffed with one person on the weekends? It's so so busy.. why 3 chairs if you aren't going to use them simultaneously?? read more

i went to have a relaxing herbal facial & it was more stressful, every minute beeping from door, no relaxing music; the lady left me for 40' with some face cream in the back door tinting: she did it in a hurry; & no focus in what she was doing so, awful job & too black when she knew I was looking for brownish tone. price, shady: they posted some different prices online. read more

I previously micro-bladed by thinning eyebrows (illness related) but didn't want the excessive expense or pain. I opted for getting them arched and tinted. So glad I found this lady. I couldn't be more excited to have beautifully arched, color-blended brows. Great pricing and other services are available too. What a hidden gem! read more

Very impressed with Shyadida's eyebrow threading skills! In fact I grabbed a business card to share with others. It was a seamless process, no wait, pain free and perfectly what I wanted. Before sitting down I asked her to keep them thick and just clean up. It only took her a few moments to thread and cut my brows to perfection. Will absolutely be back! read more

I came in today and the usual person I go to was not here. I was about to leave but I turned back around and gave Shraddha a chance and she really did exactly what I asked for. I wanted to keep my brows thick and she did that for me. I've been here before and my experience with the other woman I forgot her name, I think it's Sarah they're always nice and don't talk your ear off and hands are always smelling good and clean. read more

Always get my eyebrows done here great place! Highly recommended coming here, great prices as well

Absolutely thrilled with my experience! For my first eyebrow cleaning, I was a bit nervous, but I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. The process was completely painless, and the results? Stunning! I walked out feeling like a supermodel. The technician was incredibly skilled and attentive. If you're looking for exceptional service and fabulous brows, look no further. Highly recommend this place! If you don't want your eyebrows thinned out then ask! read more

I got eyebrow threading and received excellent service. They listened to exactly how I wanted my eyebrows shaped and executed it perfectly. Professional and clean. Highly recommend . read more

Subi was quick and efficient. Their tip selection is little absurd as it starts from 40% to 60% on the screen so pay attention!

I would not recommend. She rushed, though there was no one else in the store. She barely spoke, I found her slightly rude. I said to clean my eyebrows and she ended up thinning them out. When I asked her did you thin them out she said no, but I took before and after shots. They don't know how to work with thick eyebrows. read more

Worst eyebrow boutique. I said to the woman doing my eyebrows three times, Just clean them up. I didn't want any shaping whatsoever, just a clean look, as I loved my natural shape. I left this place with uneven arches, and when I showed her how they were uneven, she stated I had "gaps in my brows". I walked in at 11:26 AM, and she was done with my eyebrows at 11:30 AM. Four minutes to do someone's eyebrows? Unheard of. I just wanted her to clean them up, and now I have to go to an event tonight with the ugliest eyebrows I've had in my life. I've been here before, but the girl who's done my eyebrows before I guess it doesn't work here anymore. I felt so rushed, and she ruined my shape. Beyond disappointed. Save yourself the trip. read more

I've been going here for about 2 years or so now. There are two ladies who work here and depending on the day, you could get either one. Both are quiet yet sweet and for the most part do a great job. HOWEVER, I get frustrated because one of them thins out my eyebrows no matter what I tell her. I will spend WEEKS growing them out and when the other woman does my eyebrows, they look fantastic and I literally get multiple compliments on them. Then, I'll come in to get them cleaned up and the one that thins them is there and boom, they're razor thin again and I have to start all over. I really want to keep coming here because I absolutely adore how the other lady does my eyebrows and both of them are so sweet, but I'm frustrated because it's always a toss up of who I'm going to get that day. read more

Excellent service. Come here frequently. Pleasant personality. Very efficient. Will recommend to my family and friends.

I was so excited when Shradda texted me that she finally had open her new store. I have been going to her for years and find her to not only be professional but very warm and friendly. It is rare to find an eyebrow technician that does not feel compelled to do something of their own on your face. She actually listens and KNOWS how to arch/sculpt eyebrows. The store is still very new with a modern flare. The seats are nice and comfortable. I will attach photos. read more

I am glad I found this place close to my home. I called and came in 10 min. The lady there works very fast. And I liked the way she threaded my brows and lips. Coming back for sure on a regular basis. Recommend to everyone! read more

Very happy with the eyebrow threading services here! There are very few threading spots that I'm a fan of after my first visit but this one has been added to my list of go-to threading places. They take walk-ins and are taking the proper safety precautions given current conditions. read more

I have been coming to eyebrow design center for almost 3 years now. I have had 3 different ladies do my brows. The first one is very quick and only thinned out my brows half the time. The second lady was my favorite and never messed up my brows. I just recently went after not going for almost 2 months, but I cried after seeing the result. A new lady (third lady) took off the entire front part of my eyebrow and told me that it was already like that, when it was not when I walked in. She made my eyebrows so thin and uneven and spent 3x as long doing my eyebrows than normal. I am giving two stars instead of one because I've only had one HORRIBLE experience and over 15 good experiences. This one horrible experience has traumatized me and I will not be coming back until I find out whether the second lady still works there. read more

Thank goodness for Eyebrow Design Center! My eyebrows were in need of some care and attention after I grew them out for a bit post-waxing butchering. I was across the street at Lowe's buying leaf bags when the storefront caught my eye. I quickly looked them up on Yelp and was not disappointed! I went on a Saturday and my designer, Susmita (sp?) took great care of me. I told her that I was trying to get my eyebrow length back and preferred a thicker brow and she gave me exactly what I was looking for! This is my go-to eyebrow threading shop in Fairfax. read more

I came here due to the good reviews and though my eyebrows look even with a nice arch, she was very rough compared to other places I have been to. When I came in, there was only one lady it seemed. When threading, the string broke twice and just felt painful. There are some left over baby hairs that she missed and didn't get them. I am not sure if I would go back personally. read more

I definitely gave this eyebrow center 5 stars cause it's the best eyebrow design salon ever. I came from Maryland only to get my eyebrows fixed by sharddha. I can't trust anyone with my eyebrows only this salon. Incredible service, great design, clean and always opened. Thanks read more

My best friend and I only had one eyebrow lady for years but she moved away meaning we had to go somewhere else and we were terrified to get them done by someone else. Love coming here. Absolutely the best place to get my eyebrows done. Been coming for over 3 years now and never disappointed.

I live in DC and get most of my hair/facial appointments there, tried Eyebrown Design today after reading reviews since it's near my office and will absolutely make this my regular! Super quick, less painful and less expensive than when I go in DC. I will be back every month! read more

Won't go anywhere else. Moved away 2 years ago and still make the extra drive. Quick, minimal pain, tidy look. Love it.

The staff was very unfriendly. My eyebrows are not thick and has been a while since they have been threaded. So they needed a little bit more work. The tall girl did a poor job and just rushed through the job. She left many hairs that were not removed below my brow. I had to pluck them myself when I got home. read more
