He didn't fix it properly, and it kept running that resulted in depleting our water supply. He was called again, and he denied that he made any mistake. He blamed our water pump; saying that it needed to be replaced. He was not professional and asked the men in our house hold to help him lift the pump up out of the ground. He insulted one of the men by saying that he needed to put on 'His Big Boy pants.' Fortunately, this task was abandoned as all three men were not able to lift the pump out from being lodged 60 feet under the ground. This is a dangerous task that could have damaged our pump, and the men who generously agreed to help Zain early on a Sunday morning. Tight and Drilling was called and they told us the problem was never the pump. The problem was that he didn't fix our toilet to begin with. More recently (1/28/26); Zain was called again in a pinch when all of our water sources stopped working. He told us our pipes were frozen and broken and needed to be replaced. He charged $350 for four different visits. He fixed everything except our Kitchen sink. Only hot water came out, and then we found out it was leaking in the basement. We had another contractor arrive, and he told us our pipes were never frozen. In fact they were clogged, and fortunately he was able to rectify the matter. We thought to give Zain a second chance; that is why we called him a second time. Do not make the same mistake we did.

I first learned about UCM when they were a sub-contractor for my bathroom renovation project. The project involved relocating all of the bathroom fixtures and rerouting some plumbing and HVAC lines for a bathroom above it. The project required attention to detail and precision, as it was a tight space. Dustin from UCM delivered. More recently I contracted with UCM to install 3 Mitsubishi mini-splits, after soliciting bids from them and 2 of their main competitors. Dustin's work was again great. I asked him to run the lines for the mini-splits within the walls, because I didn't want them running on the exterior of the house. He thoughtfully and carefully cut out the drywall so it was easy to restore. He also readily accommodated my request to ensure the installation was not only efficient, effective, but also aesthetically pleasing on the outside of the house. A few unrelated issues came up as we were scheduling the work (e.g., need for code-compliant water line for refrigerator; need to fix water and waste lines for washing machine; need to change out UV light and filter for house water) and he readily incorporated them into his schedule. This was a 2 day project using the 1st day to remove the old system and seal ducts and day 2 to install and test the new system. They arrived on time with all the necessary parts and equipment to handle any potential problems. During the duct sealing process, it was determined that the existing duct structure had the equivalent of a 25.8 square hole. After sealing, this was reduced to the equivalent of a 2.3 square inch hole. IMPRESSIVE ! The new system was installed per plan and has been running well for over a month which includes one or two 90 degree days. It is so quiet that one can hardly hear it.
