As far as Walden Plumbing goes, Bill is just the best! We were having issues with our heat for weeks. Someone referred us to Walden Plumbing and Bill was here within an hour of me calling. He didn't overcharge for an emergency visit and was very thorough. It was not an easy problem to diagnose but he said that if he had to come back he wouldn't charge again and he kept his word on that! He had to come back a few times and dint charge anything extra! We first called Bill over 10 years ago (prob closer to 15) when we became frustrated with a larger local business who installed our new boiler and, during routine maintenance, discovered they were not properly trained in servicing what they installed. Walden Plumbing was recommended to us by Sohn's Appliances in Walden. I called Walden Plumbing, left a voicemail which was returned in a day or 2. The plumber, Bill, told us he was very busy with heating contracts and might not get to us this week. I told him "no hurries, no worries" and did not hear from him til the following week. He called around 4:30, I could not pick up as I was treating a patient myself. So I called back around 5, left a voicemail. Got another voicemail from him the next day around 4:45 saying he could come tomorrow morning. I called back promptly, left him a voicemail saying I could not be available (as I work) on such short notice, but could be available most of the day the day after, and the day after that, and specified some other time frames for other days. Did not hear back, so called again, left voicemail, got another call back from Bill in which he said he was not going to give us service because he was tired of all these voicemails. Well, yeah, me too. Mind you, at this point, it's Friday about 5pm, we have already told him we are available nearly all day Monday, and we are now talking directly to each other. But after his having agreed to give us his services more than a week ago, he's not going to schedule us after all, because apparently he's in a snitt because, just like him, we couldn't always take a phone call immediately either. read more

I woke up to a freezing house and looked online for a local repair service. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a call. I left a message and 2 minutes later, Bill called me back and I explained my problem and he said he'd be over within half an hour. When he arrived he took one quick look and listen and immediately knew what the problem was. He was such a nice man, very professional and explained things thoroughly. Decided to hire this company because of their reviews on yelp which were wonderful. Found that every single one of these reviews were true. Not only did they come right away gave a very fair price not only hooked up my sink but fix all the mistakes my husband made when he tried to hook up the sink first. Had an issue with my heating system this morning. Called Walden Plumbing And Heating and left a voice mail. Got a call back just before 8 am from Bill letting me know he unfortunately would not be able to diagnose the problem today however he could get do so tomorrow if I couldn't find anyone else before that time. Bill was nice, courteous and helpful over the phone. He suggested a couple of possible causes and advised me on what to look for and check. He apologized for not being able to get to us today due to already being booked up with calls for the day and told me to call him back if I couldn't get anyone else before tomorrow. Courteous, friendly and helpful service. I was able to find someone else to diagnose and fix the issue but Bill from Walden Plumbing And Heating deserve a positive review nonetheless for good customer service. Well done. read more
