Called around to several Generac authorized installers. Left a lot of messages and actually spoke to a few. Some never followed up despite my follow-up and some scheduled appointments 2 months out. All seemed like they didn't care if they did business with me. When I called Patriot and spoke to Lauren I knew they were different. After a few discussions we setup a appointment with Joe in days not months. They even offered to come to my home at night if it was easier for me. Joe spent time understanding my requirements, surveying my electric circuit box, the service entrance and gas line. A few minutes after we finished we sat and Joe produced a selection of solutions for me. After I picked one Joe said Patriot would handle everything from dealing with the Town to running the gas line. On installation day the crew arrived and after introduction started work. Nick, Joe, Lauren and the electricians are good people, quiet, respectful of your home and diligent. They did a fantastic job installing the transfer box, generator and pad, gas line and required wiring. They do what they say they'll do and make sure you're happy with their work. read more

They're reliable honest professional business men looking out for the consumer. They took care of any permits and inspections I needed to complete the job. I would recommend them to anyone who want a job done correctly at a good price. My electrical job consists of changing my exterior service wire, meter box, wire into the fuse box and included a generator outlet for my generator. After explaining to Joe my issues he came up with different ways he can do the job at a affordable prices. Patriot Electric upgraded our electric service. At the same time, they checked all the outlets in the house to make sure they were safe; updated an open switch to put in new switches for the front lights, adding two outlets and USB ports; fixed and installed a new outside light (which works like a charm); updated our breaker panel to show lights to immediately tell us if something isn't working correctly; and mapped all the breakers. The initial salesman was very pleasant and gave us an exact quote for the work (which they kept to) and financing options. We did have to remind them that we did not receive the breaker map, but they immediately came over and hung up the list. I had an electrical issue related to the extreme cold. Joe & Lenny were able to troubleshoot & solve the problem in a timely fashion. As a result Joe reduced the rate of the service charge (not something usually done in today's world). They even had to travel out in a snow storm to pick up the breaker that they needed. Joe's concern for our wellbeing was above board. In today's world we have seemed to lose consideration for others. These guys are professional, courteous, and genuine. I can't say enough about their character. By the way, this was the first time I had used them (the electrician I've used before was on vacation). I just found new electricians. I was really impressed and overall satisfied with the entire experience. I was given multiple service level options at different prices since cost was a huge factor for me. They took a 50% deposit to order the parts and came on time as scheduled and got the work done quickly and efficiently. The cost was fair, not over or under priced. I have an older electric system (from 1960s) so I was also impressed that they brought an electrician who had lengthy experience installing the system I had- it reinforced my confidence. Everyone that works for Patriot Electric are just nice people on top of it all, so it was really pleasant overall to deal with them. I had to have my house upgraded to 200 amp service. I had other electricians come to give estimates, but I found them to be rude or felt they were under qualified for the job. Neil & Joe from Patriot Electric were a breath of fresh air. I can not speak higher of their professionalism, right out of the gate.
