Recently I was in need of some reasonable, time sensitive, make it or break it electrical work done for my home. I am a single mom with a little girl who has found herself in a unique situation with costs of my apartment falling on me by being the victim of slumlords. In any case Mr. Jeff Spiro was the kindest most reasonable fair man and handled my electrical needs not once but twice, and in an efficient timely manner. His assistant Mark was great! They fixed my water heaters as well as installed 2 baseboard heaters for me with kindness, no pressure and pride. Jeff kept me calm as I was a mess as these expenses and the work having to be finished in time for my inspection I was fearful of the impossible. Until Jeff answered the phone. What well mannered people with such a great energy around them. I can honestly say Spiro and Spiro were my night in shining armor and I will be forever great full. Being a single mom with a 7 yr old and being forced to take on responsibilities I am blind to education about is no easy task. From point A to point B Jeff walked me through calmly and saved my life. And after Tuesday I can God willing put this all behind me. No easy task but Jeff Spiro and Company came through professionally,educated, fair, and strong. And you can tell they really care. That makes all the difference. I HAD to post this because these people are AMAZING! Since we moved here we've been using Spiro & Spiro Electric quite a bit for different jobs. They are always pleasant, professional, have super fair prices and do great work. Last night, someone opened our gate and went into my husbands unlocked car . We had a 2 light security motion light but not one that stays on all night and it only lights part of the driveway. Today I ordered 3 video cameras off Amazon, then called Spiro & Spiro to replace my light with one that would stay on all night. They suggested a " monster" 3-light security light. When they finished, Mark said he spoke with owner Jeff and there would be NO charge, not even for the light!!! I couldn't believe my ears! Never has a contractor done such a thing. They said they " felt bad and just wanted us to be safe". There are still good people in this world and these guys are a few of them! I called several companies for two days. They were the only company that called me back. I explained the situation to them. I told them that the electricians that came out for my solar, told me that I had to get another electrician and that the problem was going to cost me a few grand. After, I talked to the gentlemen over the phone, he said that it sounds like it something real simple. I was scared to death that who ever came over was going to rake me over the coals. To my surprise it only cost me 1 hour worth of work. He explain in detail why the problem happens to everyone some point in time. They are the best. I would send ALL my friends to him. These guys knew what they were doing and installed 3 overhead lights above my counter, made sure they worked with my dimmer, and installed a lampshade chandelier over my kitchen table.
